"WATCH OUT!!"

The students around them cried out in horror and shock as they watched Yuan Heng stab the pocket knife towards Feng Jiao's nape.

Feng Jiao couldn't react faster and the knife's tip was only an inch away when suddenly a kick was thrown at Yuan Heng's face from the side. He crashed on the desks and chairs as a loud 'bam!' sounded from the collision.

"Argh!" Yuan Heng cried out in pain as he tried to get up but his foot tripped on the chair and fell down.

"Who is it!? You dare to stop me!!" Yuan Heng shouted in rage as his red eyes were widened big. He then got up slowly as he glared at the figure that interrupted his plans.

" Dare to stop you?....If I don't stop you then do you want me to see her die? Heh.." The figure chuckled in a low and chilly voice which sounded like it hid great anger in it. His back facing towards Yuan Heng.

"You made a great mistake. If I was even a second late...she would have died right in front of me! Do you think I would let you do that?!" The figure finally turned around which let Yuan Heng recognise the intruder.

"Qi Ren?!" It wasn't Yuan Heng who called out the boy's name but Feng Jiao.

"What happened?" Gu Qin Zhen asked as he didn't know what just happened to make such a commotion.

"This bastard tried to kill Jiao Jiao! How can you be so careless!? If I was even a bit late, you could have died!" Qi Ren reprimanded Feng Jiao in a stern voice but there was worry, terror and relief mixed in his slighty shaking voice.

"What?!" Gu Qin Zhen and Feng Jiao cried out in shock at the same time. They only turned around for a bit to leave the class but such a thing happened when they were unguarded.....

If Qi Ren hadn't come at the right time, she would have really died from that assault.

Just before Yuan Heng charged at Feng Jiao, Qi Ren had already arrived before the classroom.

And when he got inside, he saw the scene where Yuan Heng stabbed the pocket knife in his hand towards Feng Jiao's back which was left unguarded.

When he saw that Feng Jiao was in a danger, his body became numb as his head rang out emergency sirens inside and his body moved on its own.

He threw away his school bag and rushed towards Yuan Heng as he threw a side kick at his face with all he got.

He only got his senses back when he heard the cry of pain from Yuan Heng after he collided upon the desks.

And when he heard the next words he said, he felt like committing a murder right here and then but Feng Jiao's shout stopped him. He got his rationality back as he couldn't help but scold her for being so careless.

He was so terrified when he thought about how she might have got hurt or maybe even died from that stab.

Who could ever understand the horror he felt when he saw this scene?

Qi Ren and Feng Jiao were actually childhood friends who would always fight and bicker with each other but still got along very well.

Qi Jing Xin was a very close friend of Feng Jiao's dad, Feng Xuan and would always visit each other in festivals or whenever they were free.

Qi Ren was the only son of Qi Jing Xin.

He would always bring Qi Ren along with him to let him play with Feng Jiao who was about the same age as him whenever he visited Feng Xuan.

Qi Ren was calm since he was a kid which made Feng Jiao, who was a mischievous brat to play pranks on him whenever he visited her. But he would let her do as she pleased.

They got along from childhood till now and studied together in the same school.

And now that he saw her be in such a close call, he couldn't help but feel rage building up inside him. His calm surface cracked down and coldness surfaced.

"You bastard! How dare you try to save her?! She should die for hurting Mei Mei!" Yuan Heng finally balanced himself properly as he growled at Qi Ren.

Feng Jiao finally got herself back from this shock then felt anger boiling inside her.

"You actually tried to sneak an attack on me! Such a cowardly bastard! If you really want to kill me then why not come at me head on?!" Feng Jiao shouted at him as she felt angry on herself for being so careless.

Qi Ren was right, she was too unguarded in front of an enemy.

But who would have thought that a student would try to do such an outrageous thing?

Feng Jiao now only wanted to beat this guy up till he can't even get up for having such ill intentions against her.

"What happened here? Jiao Jiao, are you all right? What's with all the commotion? I heard that you were hurt from the other students." Gu Xiao Yue also came besides Feng Jiao as she looked at her from head to toe to see if she was hurt anywhere.

She was heading towards Feng Jiao's class to see the results in the school forum together but then she heard some screams and shouts coming from class 1-A and also heard what Qi Ren said from afar.

When she heard that Feng Jiao was in a close call to death, she rushed towards the class as fast as she could in a panic.

She was worried that her friend might have gotten hurt but still calmed herself down and got a student to call the teachers to handle the situation.

She then entered the class as she hid the panic from before and inquired about the situation to Feng Jiao.

She had also seen that Xi Mei Mei was lying unconscious on the floor and the desks and chairs were scattered messily while Yuan Heng stood between the mess.

Her eyes narrowed dangerously when she saw the pocket knife still held tightly in Yuan Heng's hand.

"Xiao Yue! You came too. I'm fine as Qi Ren saved me on time." Feng Jiao said as she saw the worry in Gu Xiao Yue's eyes.

"As long as you are safe. I'm sorry for arriving late." Gu Xiao Yue nodded and said.

She glanced at Qi Ren as she heard Feng Jiao calling him familiarly. They must have known each other well to have him make such a face.

"Xiao Yue, it's not your fault so don't apologise. Let's think about what we should do with that crazy bastard." Feng Jiao then pointed at Yuan Heng as she said.

"I have already had a student to go and call the teachers here. They will handle this situation after they come but first...." Gu Xiao Yue didn't continue speaking as she then dashed towards Yuan Heng like a wind. No one could react to her actions as she was too fast.

She got close to him and grabbed the hand which was holding the pocket knife and twisted it abruptly which made its grip on the knife to loosen and drop it down.

She then twisted his hand behind his back as she kicked his knees and made him kneel on the floor with great impact.

Yuan Heng shouted in pain after all of this happened. He couldn't react at all and was easily defeated as he didn't know martial arts like she did.

Before he knew what happened, he was already kneeling on the floor with his hands held behind his back. The knee on his back held him down and didn't let him move from the position.

He struggled to get out of the grip but surprisingly, Gu Xiao Yue's strength was better than his own which made his struggles futile.

All the other students finally got their mind back as they couldn't follow the one sided fight that happened in an instant.

They were shocked at the speed of how Gu Xiao Yue handled the situation in the bat of an eye.

Even Qi Ren couldn't help but widen his eyes a little.

"Don't bother struggling. You cannot get away from this no matter how you much you try. So give up." Gu Xiao Yue said in a low voice at Yuan Heng who was still struggling to get away.

She increased the strength in her grip as she bent his hands more.

"You have got guts to try to harm my people. Do you think you can get away from this just because you are a minor? I will make sure to make you rot in jail." Gu Xiao Yue whispered to Yuan Heng in a low, chilly voice. She was feeling anger which was hard to explain with words.

Yuan Heng glared at Gu Xiao Yue from the corner of his eyes and opened his mouth to retort but then several pairs of hurried footsteps came from outside the classroom as some teachers rushed inside the class and saw what was happening.

They had heard what happened just now from the student who came to call for them so they understood that Gu Xiao Yue held down Yuan Heng from further causing more trouble.

They were really shocked to hear such a news about how a student in their school tried to harm someone's life. Even Yi Guang came to the scene personally.
