Reborn: A Second Chance

Mira open her eyes. She look around herself and find herself in the hospital. Familiar faces come infornt of her vision. She look at Sonia and Lucas "What I'm doing here?" she ask looking confuse

"You pass out Mira so we take you here" Sonia said looking concern.

Mira frown "what happen to me?"

"Doctor just have checked ...he will soon tell us" Lucas said.

Suddenly someone shouted "MIRA" it is Louis he is running out of breath. He stop his meeting when he come to know from his brother that Mira pass out and drive his car as fast he could.

He look worriedly towards Mira. He move towards her and hug her tightly as if he is afraid that if he leave her she will disappear somewhere "what happen Mira ...are you alright...are you hurt somewhere" Louis panic and look for the injury ...but relax after Finding none.

"I'm not hurt Louis ...calm down" Mira smile looking at Louis worried face.

Louis look towards his brother "Did doctor said anything"

"No...but must be coming with the report" Lucas said.

Soon after some time a man come wearing doctor uniform. He is in his late thirties. He is looking at the report then smile warmly at Mira. Louis gritted his teeth damn it why the doctor have to be male and glare towards the doctor. Mira look at Louis expression and sign seriously how much this get possessive she hold his hand to calm him down.

Doctor smile awkwardly a sweat fall from his head looking at Louis glare. Damn I'm a doctor why he need to look at me like I'm some criminal. He ignore his stare and look towards Mira.

" I'm glad you wake up. How are you feeling? "

"I'm feeling fine doctor but why suddenly I pass out" Mira look at doctor.

"Well Ms Mira congratulations you are two weeks pregnant and the reason you pass out because of stress and because of your not getting proper diet. Right now your fetus is weak but with proper care and proper diet it will grow healthy so please take care of yourself" Doctor said and with that he leave the room.

Both Mira and Louis freeze after hearing doctor saying pregnant.

Sonia laugh in excitement "My best friend is pregnant I'm going to be godmother ....I couldn't wait.... congratulations Mira" she hug Mira. But soon Lucas snatch her from Mira "let them talk first" indicating her to leave the room.

Sonia grumble but after looking at Mira and Louis she agrees with Lucas and they leave the couple alone.

Mira look at Louis in shock "I'm pregnant Louis"

Louis look at Mira an unknown emotion display in her eyes "Yes Mira... we are going to be parents Mira" a feeling he never felt he is going to be father his own , their flesh and blood, their product of love.....but suddenly feel scared what if Mira don't want their child after all she still young with heavy voice he said " Mira if you are not ready we can "

But before he could complete the sentence she glare at him "Shut up Louis how dare to think I will abort this child ...if you don't want this child I can take care of it alone"

Louis eyes turn fierce "You think I'm coward that I won't take this responsibility.... it's my child Mira as well"

Both of glare at each for few minutes but soon a tear fell down from Mira eyes she place her hand on her stomach a warmth spread inside her She look at Louis "Louis we are going to be parents ...our baby ...our flesh and blood"

Louis place his hand on her stomach hugging her from behind "I'm so happy Mira ...this child will call me Papa...I always wanted a family ....thank you Mira for giving me a family of my own" Mira heart burst with happiness looking at Louis eyes bursting with so many emotions. Both of them hug each for quite long time in a bliss.

But suddenly a question pop in Louis mind he frown "why did it take you long time to get pregnant as far as I remember I hardly use protection"

Mira roll her "You schemer you are planning to get me pregnant and why blame me blame your s.p.e.r.m not strong enough to get me pregnant earlier"

Louis narrow his eyes "You"

Suddenly they interrupted by Sonia "Guys everything is alright shall we come inside"

Mira clear her throat and said "yes"

Sonia grin at Mira "I never know you will get screwed this early but whom I am too complain I'm going to be godmother" Mira roll her eyes at Sonia but Louis look at Sonia annoyed by her use of term "screwed"

Louis glare at Lucas "Calm your woman Lucas"

Sonia glare at Louis "You inf---"

The door open with BANG!

Mira shock seeing them "Who call them"

Sonia look guilty "Opps it's me"
