3 days later I receive a letter from Philip via messenger bird. Before I left Silfrid city, we both thought of a way to send messages in case we have to contact each other. He told me about birds being used to send messages.

To use these birds I have to go to the nearest adventurers guild and tell someone who works in the guild (there's Sally's dad so I can ask him) and tell them I want to send a message to a d.e.s.i.r.ed receiver or location. This, however, is known only by rich merchants or anyone with higher standing. That wouldn't be a problem with the badge that Philip gave when I saved Lillian and Daren.

It's like a governmental pass that I can use however I want, but I will only use it for important business like this one.

I took out my KA-BAR knife and open the letter sealed by the wax, imprinted by a stamp of the royal emblem.

'Son, I'm grateful to you for saving the diplomat and the issue about the Black Dagger will be dealt with. I'm going to ask you to replace the diplomat because the negotiation with Remloah must not be canceled.

The reason why it should not stop is that it will predict the future alliance between Silfridia and Remloah. If you don't want to accept it, I understand. Give me a reply and I will send a replacement for the diplomat.

When I finish reading the letter, I then wrote a reply saying that I accept and will leave in a day.

"Is the Humvee ready?"

"Yup! The Humvee is loaded and ready to go Foxy!"

Sally replied.

"Good, how about you Lillian, Karla?"

"I'm ok Hubby!"

"I'm ready to go Felix."

"Let's go then."

So the distance to the capital of Remloah is about 800 kilometers. So this will take me about half a day of driving. Good thing everyone in the car knows how to drive so that I don't have to drive for half a day straight.

I think 2-3 hours the right time to stop and change drivers.

After driving for a couple of hours I saw the large forest encompassing the border of the two countries. The forest acts as a natural barrier between the two countries and the quickest route are through the forest.

The forest takes three days for a horse-drawn carriage to exit the other side, while the Humvee will only take three hours to pass if there is no problem during the drive. When we entered the forest, large trees covered the sky with branches full of thick leaves making the forest darker than outside.

While we are waiting to pass through the forest, we made some small idle conversation. Nothing exciting happened until we exited the forest.

Beautiful flowers on the fields, orchards growing different types of fruits, farms growing crops, and patches of forest dots the landscape. I drive through town after town to see a white castle on the horizon.

The capital of Remloah, Mardekholm. Mardekholm is a large merchant based city filled with goods from around the world. The majority of the population are demi-humans, especially the ruler and the noble class.

I think this is close enough to the city, don't want to spook any locals with the Humvee. We then drove the Humvee to a nearby forest and camouflaged it to make sure no one finds it, but if someone does find it I'm sure they don't have a clue how to operate this.

But for whatever reason someone did operate it by luck or prior knowledge, I installed an ignition key switch. That will add another level of security.

"Are you ready girls?"

At the city gate, tall and thick stone walls surround the city, protecting it from any outside threats. Multiple guards posted to keep a watchful eye.

We then went inside the gate. Inside the gate was a plethora of stalls and stores. Selling fruits and vegetables, to accessories and clothes, to armors and weapons.

"Let's go to the castle."

We then went to the castle gate when two fully armored guards carrying halberds are blocking the path. Then an authoritative voice came from one of the armored knights, not knowing who spoke with their face obscured by their helmet.

"What business do you have?"

Wait, they're voice sounds a bit feminine? Well, no point wondering what's they're gender.

"We're the diplomats who came from Silfridia."

"Do you have any doc.u.ments to prove it's true?"

I then took out the badge from my pocket and show it to them. They then removed their face cover and examine the badge. Behind that helmet was a young woman's face with brown eyes and locks of blonde hair. When she was done examining the badge, she returns the badge.

"Will you please follow me."

"Sure."

We then followed her through the castle grounds and into the castle itself. A few seconds of walking in the castle we arrive in the throne room. On the far end of the room was the ruler of Remloah sitting in a large chair.

The guard knelt on the ground.

"My Queen, the diplomats from Silfridia has arrived."

"Thank you, you are dismissed."

She then left the room.

"Welcome to my Kingdom, you must be tired from your journey. I'll set up a room for you to stay."

I then knelt down to show my respect, the girls following my lead.

"Thank you for your hospitality."

When I took a good look at the Queen she was a fox beastkin similar to me and my Mom. Her red and orange hair, ears, and tail were really noticeable, her dark red eyes scan the surroundings like a natural predator.

"First let's introduce our selves. I am Queen Isabel Itienne, the ruler of my prosperous kingdom Remloah."

"And I'm Felix Dane."

"I'm Sally Dane."

"I'm Lillian Dane. "

"I'm Karla Dane."

Well, this is awkward.

"Dane? Could you be married?"

"They're my wives, my Queen."

I awkwardly answered.

"I never thought you were so active, Mr. Felix."

"Uhm... one thing led to another."

While we were having a conversation with the Queen, I notice another pair of red eyes in another hallway. When our eyes meet, the figure quickly hid. The Queen who notice me looking at the figure chuckled.

"It's ok, you can come out."

Then a figure of a young teenage girl came out wearing a simple but beautiful green dress. She shyly walks towards the Queen then hides behind the chair.

"This is my daughter. Come on, introduce yourself."

"He-hello... my name is Ruby, Ruby Itienne."

Ruby, like her mother, is a fox demi-human with similar fur color and green eyes. With her shy personality, she's cute.

"Hello, I'm Felix nice to meet you."

"Li-like wise."

"Now that introductions are over, let's talk about the when will the alliance be held, Queen Isabel."

"Oh yes, It will be held tomorrow at noon."

"Thank you for giving us your time Queen Isabel."

"Also, thank you for going all the trouble of coming here."

"It's no problem, Queen Isabel, it's for our two countries future."

We then shake hands signifying our goodwill.
