Reborn As A Fox Beastman With Modern Knowledge

After the duel. Me and Sally did some cleaning/maintenance on our guns. Doing it is a very necessary thing after using your gun. If you don't, the guns performance will drop and there might be a possibility that it will jam. You especially don't want that to happen when fighting. Well, I can just make more if it breaks, but I also have grown attached to my M9 Beretta so I don't want to replace it. After Sally and I were done with the cleaning/maintenance. We heard footsteps, then a scream!

"HELP! Somebody, help us!"

A young human girl and possibly his little brother appeared running from the forest that was beside the lake. Tired and scared, they trip and fell on the grass. Then trolls appeared. Trolls are short monster that can use weapons, armors, and shields. They also love to hunt and eat people, especially young children. A single troll can be easy to defeat, but when trolls are in groups. It gets significantly harder.

"Hey, cover your ears! Sally, Cover me!"

"Roger!"

After saying those orders. I then dash towards kids while shooting at the trolls with my M9. Also covering me, was Sally with her P320 Compact

*bangbangbang* *bangbangbang*

While the siblings where covering their ears. The trolls on the other hand, was surprised when they heard the gunshots and their fellow trolls suddenly died, but still continued their chase on the siblings.

"No you don't!"

When one troll was ready to swing its rusty sword at the Siblings. *bang* it met my 9mm bullet in its head. Then, I finally reached the siblings then covered them with my back.

"You ok?"

"Ye-yes! Were ok! But how are you going to defeat the trolls!? There's too many of them!"

She's right. There's about 18 of them out there. But, with my trusty M9 it will get the job done.

"I'm going to be fine. Look, my friend is coming over here. She's going to protect you guys."

When Sally arrived. I then told her to protect them and I will take care of the trolls. But before I could go, Sally grabbed my hand.

"Your outnumbered! You will possibly die!"

Seeing how worried Sally is. I then gently squeezed her hand and give her a warm smile.

"I won't die. I have to go back to town with you anyway."

Hearing that, Sally's face was now deep red. So cute!

[Sally's Point of view]

When Felix let go of my hands. He was now charging towards the group of trolls. I was now looking after the siblings in case some trolls were planning a surprise attack on us. When the girl asked a question.

"Is he going to be ok?"

"Yah Sis! Big brother could stop those bad trolls!"

"Yes, Felix is strong so I believe in him."

But, even knowing that. I can't stop but feel worried and scared for Felix. He just charge in there knowing his outnumbered. But I remembered the warmth of his hand, the warmth when I hugged him, it gave me hope that I will feel it again. Please Survive!

*bangbangbangbangbang*

Felix managed to kill 5 Trolls when he suddenly duck down when an arrow flew by his head. He then *bang* quickly shot the archer so that he can focus on the other trolls. The trolls tried to block his bullet with their wooden shields but could not stop it from penetrating, killing 4 more and then *click*. Felix's gun is out of bullets. Oh no! He ran out of ammo! He doesn't have enough time to reload! When the trolls started charging at him, he then quickly switched to his KA-BAR knife and managed to block the sword. Felix used that chance to grab the trolls arm and throwing the grabbed troll at the others, making them fall on each other. Felix then swing his knife at his back causing 2 trolls who tried to ambush him, got their necks sliced. Felix then quickly stab 3 more trolls. The 3 remaining trolls retreated but quickly got shot down by Felix when he got the chance to reload. When Felix made sure it was clear, he waved his hand signaling its clear. That made me so relieved and happy I jumped on him.

[Felix's Point of View]

"Whoa!"

The first thing that I see was very worried gray wolf girl that was giving me a bear hug, Sally.

"You dummy! Do you know how scared I was for you!?"

"Sorry, but this dummy is back now."

After a few seconds of Sally hugging me. The siblings came up to me.

""Thank you for saving us Felix! How can we ever repay you!?""

"Ah, you don't have to repay me. The important thing is your both safe, so lets go to Calli village and find your parents or guardian. And also, Sally. Will you let go of my arms. I can't walk properly when your clinging to me like that.

"No! this is your fault for running of like that!"

"*sigh* Fine, just hug my arm instead."

She then switch to hugging my arms when we went home while the siblings followed.

When we arrived at the village, there was quite a commotion. I saw 10 human knights and then I saw what looks like a wealthy merchant or noble frantically giving orders to them. Then they saw us with the siblings.

"You! Are you the kidnappers!"

"What!? No, wait!"

Before I could explain, the wealthy merchant/noble ordered the knights to attack. Without hesitation, *bang* shot my M9 at the ground hoping it would scare them. Oops... it was a bit too effective. All of the people in the village that was looking at us was now dead silent. Even few of the knight that tried to attack me fell on his b.u.t.t because of the loud gunshot and even shaking, good thing I was still wearing earplugs. Then, the girl went in front of me spreading her arms.

"No! Your wrong! They where not the ones who kidnapped us father! Instead, they saved me and my brother when we tried to escape.

Even the little brother went in front and explained the event.

"Yah! He saved us from the trolls that noticed us while escaping from the kidnappers!"

Wait, kidnappers? I did notice some kind of movements but thought it was just some other trolls. So those where the kidnappers huh. And the siblings where some kind of son and daughter from a wealthy merchant or nobles. Now that I look at the Siblings properly, they where wearing expensive clothing. The girl has a long dark red hair, brown eyes, wearing a expensive ring and dress fit only for a princess, although it has a large rip and is dirty due to her running. While her little brother has the same hair color, same eyes, and wearing a nice shirt for wealthy mercant/nobles, its also in the same condition as his sister's dress. Then the father of the siblings spoke.

"*sigh* Ok stand down. Lillian, Daren, explain everything. You boy, follow me. I will also explain things at a more... private place."

That guys strict but I can see that his very concern of the sibling. When I tried to follow him Sally grabbed the sleeves of my shirt, wanting to follow me.

"Can I bring Sally with me? She also helped protect the siblings."

"Fine."

And then Sally and I was in the best inn in Calli village.
