The playground beside the Shinobi Academy…

It has been almost 6 months since I have joined the Shinobi academy and learned nothing that can be remembered as valuable after all the teacher will only teach history and tell us stories about the legendary battles of the past generations of Hokage and mighty Shinobies.

They will also introduce the territory of the villages and describe the map of the Shinobi continent to us once a week but there wasn't anything that I couldn't learn from the library of the Academy and Gramps also helps me learning when I don't understand something.

The boring theoretical class only make me fall asleep not long after the teacher starts speaking and he will also avoid awakening me in fear of getting asked that he will be unable to answer as they are well aware of the fact I know some parts of the book better than them which makes me wonder how did they get to become a teacher in the Shinobi Academy.

"The theoretical knowledge is less important than the practical one. " that time when I asked gramps he replied with a serious face making me facepalm after understanding just who had become a teacher of the academy and I even felt the teachers of the civilian Academy are better than our teachers became they at least know what they are teaching instead of pretending to know everything but not knowing anything of use.

As for the practical training you don't even need to ask me because in that tike we are only taught how to do stretch before starting the training, then they will make us run around the whole training ground for a few rounds to build up our body.

They will also teach us hand signs but not any Jutsus but last month we were taught the transformation Jutsu that Gramps taught me months before I even joined the Academy.

Although I was able to do it the first time I tried, however, my brother wasn't that good and failed with some other kids in the class although he wasn't able to perform that good he was better than most that failed because he successfully transformed into Gramps it is just that he was still small making Hiruzen look quite funny.

While the person who stood out most in the class is Sasuke Uchiha as he successfully did the Transformation Just the first time he tried but I knew he has learned it before and that must be his clan that thought him and he is showing off with that bit of shit, how can you be more shameless than that?

After that, we also learned kunai and Shurikin techniques from the teachers but they aren't better than me so it was hopeless, however, the Kenjutsu teacher surprised me a bit as he was able to cut a thick tree that is thicker than a grown-up man's belly with a single swing of his wooden sword.

I learned a little from him and Gramps started teaching me as well after finding my interest in Kenjutsu.

Today I have come to the playground to play with Naruto because Gramps is busy and asked me to have a break for today as it will help me to have some rest from time to time to let my body recover although I don't find the need for it.

Although Hinata and Neji wanted to join us their Neji's mother asked him to join her to the visit to the hospital as she is pregnant and his father is out of the village for an important mission.

While Hinata needs to take care of Hanabi with her mother but I think she will not complain I just hope she won't drink Hanabi's food when aunt Hinako is not paying attention.

"So this is your brother. " the skinny kid asked with a sleepy eye as he looks at me with interest the turning towards Naruto he asked, "He is taller than you Naruto are you sure he is your twin younger brother? "

"His hair color is orange Shikamaru. " the fat one added after finishing the packet of ch.i.p.s he just finished and taking out another packet.

"I was going to say that next Choji. " said Shikamaru with a serious face.

"Of course he is my brother, you better believe it? " Naruto said with confidence looking at them as I asked "Brother who are they? "

"Oh~ right I forgot to introduce them to you. " Naruto said with a smile as he started introducing them to me.

"So you guys are also in the 1st year of the Pre-shinobi course like me and brother? " I asked with a smile looking at Shikamaru and Choji who seemed to be nice people and don't give me the same feeling as others.

"I am surprised we never met in the Academy. " Shikamaru said with a smile.

"Well, we are from different sections after all. " I replied with a smile and knew it is because we have different timing for our lessons which can a good reason for it.

After that, we played tag with one another and became good friends them at the evening Shikamaru's dad came to bring Shikamaru and Choji as my and brother returned home racing to see who can arrive faster than the other.

" Hiruzen asked with a serious face while cherishing his beard and thinking 'With his talent and abilities I am surprised he was able to endure this long without applying for earlier graduation if it was Itachi or Kakashi they might have asked for a graduation months ago. '

"Yes, you can say that. " I replied with an uncertain nod but inside I am surprised there existed a term like early graduation if I knew I knew I would have applied for it the same month I entered the Academy.

"Alright I will inform Iruka to let you join in the next month's yearly exam and if you pass you will be assigned to a team with the next batch of graduates. " gramps said after pondering for a while.
