"Its been a while firestarter." Walking through the entrance with both hands in his pockets and a ċȯċky smile hanging off his face, the ever arrogant Grim greeted the current leader of the Crimson Lions.

"Hoh?" She grinned seeing his figure. "Did you think winning the Royal Knights exam is enough for you to act arrogant in front of me."

*FWOOSH!!*

Adding effects to her words, the wild woman unleashed some of her fiery mana.

*Yawn*

Taking a seat and placing his feet on top of the table, Grim sent a provoking smile her way.

"Oh! Are you bearing your fangs at me?" She grinned.

"What if I am?"

"Heh."

Releasing his own fiery mana to contend with hers, Grim felt the table threaten to erupt into flames as a hot wave of air blew across the room.

"Argh!!"

'Dammit! These two are releasing their magic power again!'

"Just because you won the royal knight exam you think you have the balls to go against me? You're one brave kid y'know! Can't say I hate that about you though!"

Seeing the smile on her face, the blue flames around Grim seem to intensify as the two stared at each other.

'This woman... I WANT TO DOMINATE HER!!"

Ramping his flames up to another level, the now standing Grim was unable to hide his smile any longer.

"Woah!!" Luck's eyes shone.

'What the hell! I use fire magic as well but I'm nowhere near this strong!!' Magna cursed internally.

"Hah! Always ready to fight against me even when you know you can't win! You're one crazy guy."

"Can't win? Who decided that?"

"ARRGGHHHHH!!!" Clenching his fists tightly, Grim's mana started to fluctuate wildly as his aura grew bigger and bigger.

Producing wave after wave of hot air, Grim's hair started flapping wildly as objects in the base started catching fire.

"Wahahahahahahaha!!" Mereoleona started laughing raising her aura to his level.

"You're a riot kid!!"

'These two... they're gonna burn the base down!!'

Forgetting about those around them, the two fire mages only had eyes for each other. Seeing Grimi's flame sword begin to manifest and Mereoleona's fire magic gathering around her fists, Noelle and Asta started panicking.

But before the two were able to intervene, they were went sent flying backwards by the sudden clash of fists between the two warriors.

"Heh!" Mereoleona grinned along with the smirking Grim.

"You haven't seen anything yet."

"Then show me."

"You got it."

Swapping fists with the other, the force from their collision sent shockwaves throughout the entire base.

Dodging each other's blows, the two didn't relent in the least as flaming fists were thrown in all directions.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" The two laughed in glee.

"Try this on for size!!"

No longer playing around, Mereoleona coated her fist in explosive flame magic that made Grim go "Oh shit!" as he took the attack head on.

Sent flying through one of the base's walls, Grim materialized his sword in time so that it bore the majority of the force.

*CRASH!!*

Digging his feet into the soil of the earth, Grim used it to slow down as he prepared for Mereoleona's next attack.

And just like he expected, the lioness appeared behind him with another [Calidus Brachium] ready.

"HA!!" She screamed throwing her fist towards his spine.

"Heh!" He grinned before falling backwards and igniting and combusting some flames beneath his feet to shoot him backwards and into the air before Mereoleona's fist could touch his back.

'He dodged!!'

"HAH!!" He yelled as a devestating beam of concentrated blue flames shot out of his sword and slammed into Mereoleona.

*GRIN*

"NOW YOU'RE STARTING TO GET IT!!"

Not worried in the slightest, the acting captain of the Crimson Lions turned around and without the slightest intention to back off or dodge, she drove her flame covered fist right into the beam.

"CALIDUS BRACHIUM!!" She screamed as her fist and the beam collided.

*BOOM!!*

As an earth shattering explosion rung out, Grim was blown back by the impact with only one thought in his mind.

'I did it... I FINALLY KILLED SOMEONE OF CAPTAIN LEVEL!!'

Compared to his fight with her back in the volcano, Grim's obsession with beating her had grown to the point that for a short amount of time he focused solely on enhancing his flame magic. Right now, his fire magic with incomparable to his past self.

"PfftHahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha." A sudden laughter rang out.

Feeling her ki still being active, Grim couldn't help but curse under his breath.

Swiping her hand forward, the dust cloud surrounded her body was swept to one side as her uninjured figure was revealed.

"Not bad tiger, but you've still got a ways to go if you want to kill me."

'This woman... just how strong is she.'

Feeling his danger senses suddenly sky rocket, Grim felt his throat suddenly become dry as Mereoleona slow walked towards him with a smile smeared across her face.

"Watch closely Grim, not many people have seen me do this and live to tell the tale."

'W-What is this?! It feels like her mana is expanding around me.'

Before he was able to realize what was going on, Mereoleona's next words seemed to echo in his ears as she said the two words that he would never forget for the rest of his life.
