Before he could finish his sentence, Rhya felt a tremendous amount of mana approaching him from one of the nearby entrances.

"I guess I won't be going anywhere for the time being."

Using fire magic to explode the wall in front of him, out from the dust came a smiling Grim hold a glowing orange sword in one hand and the dismembered head of a Midnight Sun mage in the other.

Since he already knew Rhya's location from scanning the outside of the base with [Hyper Focus], he kept blowing holes in the bases walls until he finally arrived here.

"Yo." He smiled switching to [Breath of Wind] to wisp away all the smoke and dust that had accumulated.

"Its you." Rhya frowned remembering this boy from the time he Vetto and Fana went to save Patry from Yami.

"You seem to have taken care of a couple of our guys." He said noticing the severed head in Grim's hand.

"Huh? Oh."

*Chucks head away and grins*

"Y'know what they say, kill for yourself and you're a murderer, kill for your family and you're a victim, kill for your country and you're a hero. And lets just say, I've been acting pretty fuċkɨnġ heroic on my way here."

"Seriously? You're one crazy kid." .

"Ha!" Jumping down from the hole, he floated down until he was standing directly opposite Rhya.

"Wanna hear a secret?"

"Sure." Rhya shrugged. "I've got time."

"Heh, I don't act crazy, I actually am crazy. I just act normal from time to time. Only thing that stops me from slaughtering everyone around me to be honest. That's why I love times like these when I'm allowed to go wild. I can be my true self."

Using his passive lie detector ability, Rhya couldn't help be feel perplexed.

"That's nice and all, but why tell me?"

"Because *grins* you won't be telling anyone else."

Turning into a blur of glowing blue flames, Grim speed blitzed the mid sentence Rhya and grabbed him by the face.

Feeling the hand on his face suddenly heat up, Rhya's eyes went wide as a blast of concentrated blue flames burst of from Grim's hand.

Sent hurtling back at a speed that threatened to break the sound barrier, Rhya's body was slammed into the back wall as an exlposion of dust burst out from the impact.

"Tch."

[Imitation Magic: Healing Ray of Light]

Cracking his neck, Rhya stood up from the hole his body had made in the wall.

'Seriously, what the hell happened to this kid? A couple of months ago he could bȧrėly even follow the battle between the Third Eye and the black bulls captain. Now he's fast enough to catch me off guard? Even with that mana amount, this level of growth is insane.'

"Yo, you still kicking? I want to play a bit more." Grim's voice carried its way to his ears.

"You're one interesting kid."

"I've heard. Now get your ȧss down here, I haven't finished breaking you yet."

Chuckling to himself, Rhya complied and lowered himself down from the hole.

"You're really treating me like a toy huh."

"Don't worry, I make sure to get the most out my toys before they break."

"Is that so? Well sorry to say but, this toy fights back!!"

While Grim faced off against the last member of the Third Eye, the rest of the royal knights were busy fighting their own battles.

As they were mowing down multiple Eye of the midnight sun mages in front of them, Zora came to an abrupt stop.

"Did you feel that?" He looked at Mereoleona.

"Yeah." She grinned and punched an enemy mage in the face.

"He's having fun."

Confused by what they talking about, Asta who couldn't sense mana started asking for answers. "Feel what?! Did something happen?"

"That psycho friend of yours seems to be fighting someone pretty strong."

"What!!" Asta panicked. "Where is he?! He probably needs our help!!"

"Calm down kid." Mereoleona hushed him as she dodged a ball of lightning and started throwing her fists forward.

"You know why I let that guy go by himself instead of joining a team?"

"Because he's strong?"

"No." She shook her head. "The leader of the Silver eagles is strong but I wouldn't let him go alone."

"Eh? Now than you mention it, it is a bit weird that you let someone like Grim go by himself but not a captain like Noelle's brother."

Nodding her head, she continued to fight while explaining her reasoning for letting Grim go alone.

Even the seemingly uncaring Zora payed attention.

"When I look at that kid do you know what I see?"

*Shakes heads*

"I see a fire, a fire bright enough to light the way for the future of the Clover kingdom."

"Eh? Are you sure we're talking about the same guy?" Zora asked suspiciously.

Ignoring him she continued. "But while I see that he could become the fire that lights our way, he is also capable of becoming the fire that destroys everying in his way. Including his teammates."

Realizing what she meant, a look of realization flashed across Zora's face.

"You mean-

"I didn't put anyone on his team because they would slow him down, I didn't put anyone on his team because I didn't want anyone dying by getting caught up in his rampage."

Making use of the light magic he had copied, Rhya's figure disappeared and reappeared in front of a motionless Grim.

'ITS OVER!!'

*SWOOSH!!*

Switching to Yami's katana, he ruthlessly swung the blade at Grim's neck.

"DIE."

[Imitating Magic: Dark Cloaked Black Blade]

*SWOOSH!!*

Swinging the dark magic covered katana, a look of shock spread through Rhya's face by Grim's next actions.

'WHAT!! HE DODGED!!'

Ducking beneath the swing, Grim's fist started burning with blue flames as he drove it up straight into Rhya's gut with enough force to throw him backwards.

*BOOM!!*

"KYAHHH!!"

Feeling his eyes bulge out from the amount of strength packed into that punch, Rhya couldn't help but curse in his head.

'WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL!! SINCE WHEN WAS HE CAPABLE OF REACT TO SPEEDS FASTER THAN LIGHT!!'

*FWOOSH!!*

Not done with him yet, Grim used his enhanced version of [Unknowig Fire] to charge him.

Using [Healing Ray of Light] to heal himself while being flung backwards, Rhya went on the offensive.

[Imitation Magic: Light Sword of Judgment]

Creating multiple shards of light with four lines of light going through each shard, he launched them at the approaching Grim.

'LETS SEE YOU DEAL WITH MULTIPLE ATTACKS THAT MOVE AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT!!'

Seeing the numerous number of light shards being created by Rhya, the smile on Grim's face grew even larger as he pushed his [Hyper Focus] to the limit and changed magic type.

[Breath of Water - Tenth Form: Constant Flux]

Glowing with a gentle blue light, a blue water dragon flew out of Grim's blade. But instead of shooting off and attacking Rhya, the dragon returned to the blade causing Grim's entire demeanor to change.

Normally Grim gives off a calm feeling when using [Breath of Water], but with him holding the power of the water dragon within, that draconic oppression that came with the dragon's might exploded out of his body as both his body and blade moved like a raging ocean slashing apart every shard heading his way.
