Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

Similar to everyone, guards surrounded the two princesses and Felix and they were escorted to the stage. Evan's eyes were practically glued towards Aeinshia.

She wore simple cream colored robes with golden lining, that was shining occasionally when light fell on it. Her hair in a boho style and the loose strands flowing behind her as she walked towards the stage.

When they got there, Lucia was the first one to greet the Emperor, as she was the first in importance. "Greetings, father. Hope you had a good day." She spoke out, softly and Evan finally paid attention to her.

Alexander smiled and nodded his head, "You are growing up fast, Princess Lucia." He said to which Lucia gave a confused expression, but soon giggled. She then, proceeded to her mother's side.

Then, the brother sister duo, greeted the Emperor. "Humble Greetings, Emperor", both of them bowed and greeted. Alexander smiled big and greeted them back. Aeinshia was about towards her father, when she turned and looked at Evan.

When her ocean blue orbs met with his dark orbs, an unfamiliar tingle formed in her stomach. It was ticklish and a smile made its way onto the pink lips, curling then up.

Evan was lost for words when he made an eye contact with Aeinshia. When he saw her smile towards him, he gave a grin. A huge grin, until a nudge came his way.

He snapped his head to side and realized that Peter had nudged his side and he motioned his head towards the crowd. Evan then faced the crowd and then, Aeinshia, who was already going to stand beside her father along with Felix.

He sighed and fixed his posture and faced the crowd again. It was time for the announcement.

When all the expected people were gathered on the stage, it was finally tine for the Emperor to address the citizens of his empire.

A loud trumpet sound was heard, signalling the crowd to settle their noise, for the Emperor to speak.

The crowd went silent in the respect for the Emperor to speak.

Alexander took a step forward and cleared his throat loudly. Everyone were now paying attention to him.

"My beloved citizens of the Seazle Empire. My hearty Greetings to all of you, who respect me and my decisions towards the empire." He first, spoke out a greeting while bowing towards the crowd, showing his gratitude and humble greetings to them.

The crows once again erupted in loud cheers and Alexander flashed a huge smile while waiting for the sounds to calm down, so that he could continue with his addressing.

"My citizens, as you all know, every year, a new resolution is taken for the development of the empire. An empire is successful when its citizens put on the effort to better themselves along with the empire.

And, I'm grateful that you all are receiving the ideas of development positively and contributed in the development of the country. I couldn't express the gratitude I'm feeling in words. I'm grateful, you are accepting my words and following the path, that I'm trying to make."

Alexander paused and bowed his body deeply, to show his gratitude. The people in the crowd, too started to bow as respect to the Emperor. The silence still prevailed and Alexander straightened up. 

"As every year, this time also, there shall be an announcement." He decalred and the crowd waited in anticipation. Alexnader stayed silent for a while scanning the crowd.

"Education. Education is important for not only development of an individual, but also, for the country as well. More the educated, more the progress." He stopped briefly.

The crowd were now confused on what was actually happening. Most of the Seazle citizens were educated. In the same festival, some years ago, education was mentioned and from then on, new schools were built and teachers were appointed for education everyone in the empire.

All the people, no one was an expcetion. May it be upper class men or the commoners children, everyone were to be educated. Such resolution was passed and thw citizens accepted it with an open heart.

So, the question now was, everything was going smooth, then suddenly, what lack did the Emperor observe to be talking about it again.

"I know, that a resolution was taken some years ago. Mandatory education no matter who the person is. Everyone has right on education and with choice they can achieve higher positions.

But, there was small negligence and that was not observed till now." He stopped again, increasing the anticipation and curiosity in the citizens.

"Girls. Women. They still robbed of the education and mostly, permitted to house or some simple works in the capital or countryside. Most of the upper class women are educated privately, but the commoners and low class aren't.

Oppurtunities should be given equally to everyone. And, women are also the part of the world and I would not rob their opportunities and wishes from them. 

So, I, Alexander Seazle, the Emperor of Seazle empire, give out an order that the women education is being given a full freedom. Girls from any class should  be taken into schools of mandatory education.

The higher education and the scholarship would also, be provided. And, no discrimination shall be entertained during this process. Strict orders are passed, that this would be put into action, a week from now.

Also, according to the education, positions as government workers and in the higher positions are also open for women. Now, men and women would be seen equally in every point of view and works.

Any discrimination or belittling would not be entertained and if reported to the royal guards, the action would be immediate and gruesome for the accused.

I hope you all citizens would support your Emperor in this resolution."

Alexander recited his idea and bowed respectful for the people to accept this. For a while, everything was silent and suddenly,

"Long live, our Emperor!".

A loud cheer was heard in a woman's voice and was followed by other woman's voices. Then, slowly everyone joimed and the cheers were louder than ever. Meaning they accepted his wish and he had support from them.

Alexander gave them a bid smile and bowed again, thank in then for accepting. The crowd kept on cheering, especially the women were rejoiced. Finally, there would be an opportunity for everyone of them to be equal and not see them as dolls of some sort.

Alexander motioned for something and the Duke Barack Everett came forward with a  piece of paper in his hands. Alexander took the sheet in his hands and raised it showing it to the crowd.

"This is the order paper from myself and it would be passed to all the divisions in part of Seazle. A wen from now, all necessary actions would be taken and the learning and education institutes would be taking in girls and women." He spoke out with a big smile and faced the Duke again.

The Duke handed him something and Alexander took it into his hands. A stamp. It was rota stamp, that would be placed on every order given by the Emperor. And, Alexander stamped the paper, infront of the crowd.

"The order is passed." He announced a bit loudly, while showing the stamped paper towards the crowd. A red seal clearly visible on the paper.

Then, he motioned for the Duke and he took the paper from his hands and bowed again and stepped back.

The crowd were still cheering, but were mostly discussing amin themselves about the new resolution and the women were really rejoiced by this new order that was just passed.

Alexander once again scanned the crowd and tilted his head above to look into the darkening sky. His eyes filled with unshed tears.

"My dear sister, your wish is now going into action. I hope you are happy and watching us, so that we are on right path." He silently spoke and prayed do his sister's well being, wherever she was.

Aeinshia, Andrew and Felix who were observing Alexander from back also, smiled and understood what he was up to. They all loved Beatrice and the only thing they could do to feel her was to put all of her ideas into action and see their empire flourishing.

Evan looked at the crowd and smiled to himself. The resolution had a positive impact and he hoped it stayed that way. He expected no discrimination and differences would be seen.

Suddenly, his eyes caught onto something and he flinched a little and squited his eyes to take a better look. But, he didnt see anything odd, just a group of people talking among themselves.

He swore that he saw someone in the black watching, more like glaring at them. Yes, it was split second, but Evan was sure he saw it. He couldn't be mistaken.

Then, he sighed. This would definitely happen. Just because there was mostly a positive response doesn't mean that everyone would be accepting the order.

No matter what the situation would be. If there is positivity in it, then there would also, be negative in it. There would be opposition. He just hoped they wouldn't get ugly. Or the empire would start to ruin from inside.

But, something in his heart was tell in him that, it was not that. There eid something other going on.
