Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

58 Chapter 58. Family dining 4

Of course, how couldn't he notice it when the whole room noticed. It took all of his will power not to turn and stare at his love's ocean blue eyes, which always managed to calm down, with their calmness and hidden depth.

Finally, everyone were seated and the signal to serve was given by Alexander and the servants immediately sprung yo work, getting their first meal for the day.

Aeinshia's face was still a bit red from the embarrassment but, she couldn't help but glance towards Evan, who was now seated right in front of her. Alexander was seated at the head, with Aeinshia on his right and Evan on his left. Felix was beside his sister, while Andrew was seated beside Evan.

The food was served and everyone started digging in, keeping the talk of matters for later. The food just seemed to disappear, seeing everyone seated there had big appetites and with the favorites being served, the food was bound to disappear in a short amount of time.

Just when Alexander decided it was right time to begin the conversation, which was the reason for this family dining, Andrew asked him first. "Your highness, you mentioned about something important for summoning us?"

Alexander sighed and slymped his shoulders, causing Andrew and Evan to worry about him as this kind of behavior was really unusual for him.

The worry was soon disappeared when the words left Alexander's mouth. The tension in the air, increased suddenly, and heavy silence descended on them, with in matter of seconds.

Reason? "Beatrice....." Alexander trailed off, the only word that caused the current scene to take place.

Andrew's eyes widened in realization and when he turned his face to glance at his son, Felix too mirrored his expression. Meaning, he also realized and knew what was Alexander going to say next.

Aeinshia was lost, she didnt understand why suddenly her uncle would bring up the topic of her mother.

"Its her death anniversary, three days from now..." Alexander continued his sentence but. kept on trailing off, from the painful memory flashing in his head.

Finally, Aeinshia understood and her heart rate sky rocketed. It was like her heart would just jump right out of her chest.

And it was the right reaction, seeing she was rebirth and she exactly knew what this all meant. This only meant one thing.

Her first step to downfall is three days away.

The thought of the incident, sent sparks down her whole body and she jerked her body, which was obviously noticed by her brother.

He sensed Aeinshia's odd reaction and quietly held hand under the table, in an attempt to calm her down and not to interrupt what Alexander really wanted to say.

Well, Aeinshia frowned for a whole different reason. Thoughts were racing around her head.

It came. Its only three days away. And I still don't have any idea, how am I going to get out of this.

How to prevent this? Would I even be able to change my fate? Isn't fate said to be inevitable? Even though, I was revived against the fate, that doesn't mean the fate is changed. It can still remain same and what person can really go against the mightiest thing in the whole universe? What should I do?

Not so positive thoughts were running through her head and as a snap of fingers, all her thoughts set down and her new version spoke up in her head.

You can do it. Remember why you were given a chance. To change, not to think.

"I'm going to announce the necessary education for girls in our kingdom as free of cost. Now, not only upper class women but, every girl would be given a chance for education and possible employment, when they complete their proper education."

Alexander spoke all the while, looking straight ahead, with a straight face. He didnt look at anyone while he was speaking. He knew no one word go against his word and there would be a possible positive reaction from the people in the kingdom also.

He was thinking to make it official for sometime now but, when he realized his sister's anniversary was near, he decided it would be the best time to announce his decision in the honor of her.

His fierce sister, who never backed down to question anyone if they were wrong. His fearless sister, who was very passionate about bringing change in their kingdom.

Truth be told, many developments that were in the kingdom since, Alexander was crowned were the ideas of his sister, Beatrice. Her ideas and the will to change the society was so strong that Alexander couldn't help but, implement them.

Even after passing to afterlife, he still remembered all her words of change and the beautiful picture she painted of the future with nothing but, people living in happiness and contentment and satisfaction.

And Alexander he word complete that task.

At first many court officials were agiainst the ideas thinking this could cause a possible revolt and the dethroning of the royals and monarchy but, Alexander was stubborn soul and the reaction was unexpected.

The people were so, happy about I and accepted the possible changes their Emperor thought for then for their betterment.

Of course, everything has its own negatives and many revolts that were against the Emperor were raised. But, nothing that Alexander and his trusted men couldn't solve.

After finishing his speech, Alexander finally moved his eyes towards Andrew. He was Beatrice's husband and also his best friend. Anything, that he would would always be known by him. He was one of his trusted men, from his childhood.

Even though, Andrew was mostly closed and was a type not to show his love towards his loved ones, Alexander knew his friend had no I'll intentions and loved them with his whole heart.

And this understanding made him approve the love of Andrew Rutz and Beatrice Seazle.

Andrew smiled towards his friend. He knew why Alexander was looking at him. He nodded without hesitation and that was enough, to bring smiles to both older men's faces.

Felix and Evan looked at each other, silently agreeing to the decision The Emperor has taken. Alexander then, looked to his nephew and saw his smiling widely and proudly towards and felt the warmth spread through his whole chest and he grinned widely. He saw Evan too, was smiling , giving his silent approval.

Now, everyone were waiting for the opinion of most important person to all of them, Aeinshia.

But the people didnt know what was she going through. That a raging storm was raising inside her to counter the storm that already was threatening to end her future.
