Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

77 Chapter 77. Time to accept and realise my duties

All the past events seem to have a great effect on her and she was so, deep into the thoughts that her mind and body were constantly occupied with those and she couldn't help relax herself.

Now, that she thinks about that, she wasn't able to sleep freely and relaxed for a while. But, now with this much needed laughter which was coming due to her father, it was very refreshing.

Andrew couldn't help, but let out a loud chuckle. Its been a long time, since he made someone genuinely laugh. And, it being his daughter added very satisfying feeling to his subconscious. They rarely ever spoke. So everything is like a new experience to him. But to his surprise he liked it.

He wished to spend some more of his precious time with his daughter. It's been years since he laughed whole heartedly and Aeinshia being the reason for his laugh added satisfaction to his heart.

I guess I could only spend some more time with you in future. That smile of yours sure worth everything I can do for you my dear daughter. Only if your mother is with us, then that would have been made us a complete family. I am sure, she would have pampered you to no end and loved you with all she got.

I think this is about the time to accept her death and end this pain already. It's my fault for not taking care of you and your brother all these years. I hope you can forgive me after all these years. I know I am asking for much, after all these years of not taking responsibility, but I wish you both could give this old man one more chance and let me take care of you both and give the fatherly love you need. I only hope it's not too late into realization of my duties as your father.

I think I should be very grateful to Alexander for caring you guys. You both sure grew up well.

Andrew's train of thoughts got interrupted by Aeinshia.

"Thank you, Father, for the good laugh. And, yes, I'm using good products. So you don't have to worry about my hair, " Aeinshia blurted out, absent mindedly, still laughing and she didn't see what she was saying, nor glanced at Andrew, not knowing what's going on in his mind.

When she realized, her laugh seized and she looked at her father, who was still looking at her with a small smile, but his eyes saying there is something else into it. However,in her panic, Aeinshia didn't get a chance to notice her father's expression , "I'm sorry, Father, "She immediately apologized.

Andrew frowned lightly, he didn't understand what Aeinshia was apologizing about. "About?" He inquired softly.

Aeinshia's eyes were now, roaming around the area of her room. She never talked very informally with her father. In fact, she never talked much with her father. So, when she spoke a little lightly or informally, she began panicking.

Is anxiety also hereditary? How come both you and your mother get very anxious whenever you speak to me? It's not like I am a monster who's gonna eat you both alive. Why don't you act freely already.

"Aeinshia, there is nothing to worry about. I'm your father. You can talk freely with me." He slowly reassured his daughter.

He knew how this everything feels for her. It was same feeling for him too, of course not as much anxious as Aeinshia is feeling right now. To talk freely after these many years of not talking is very weird. So he can understand her. Yet, they were trying to work it out. He was the father figure to Aeinshia, so the initiation should be taken from his side, to make the matters more easy.

Aeinshia didn't talk anything, she just stared at Andrew, silently waiting for him to talk further. Andrew was now, looking outside the window, onto the huge greenery spread on the land of kingdom.

He sighed when he remembered what he actually came for. He reached for the thing he needed to give her. He took out something that was tucked inside a poach, which is attached to the belt of his robes.

Aeinsjia curiously followed his movements, not knowing what her father was taking out. It was small. So small, that it fit into the large palm of her father. She wondered what was the thing, he took out.

When he opened his palm, a small round like thing was in his palm, shining brightly. Aeinshia tried to look closely, but she didn't understand what was that.

Andrew saw that and realized the light was falling on the object and it was reflecting, blueing its sight to others. He moved his hand a little away from the light source and brought it closer to Aeinshia.

When Aeinshia saw what it was, she was amazed. Never in her life, has she seen something this beautiful. Not even in her past life too.

A small river stone, which was very clear, it ould be mistaken as a glass bead. It was clear and polished and was shining from the light falling on it. It almost seems like it was sparkling from inside.

So, full of life and bright.

She smiled and gently and touched it. When she was nearing her finger to it, she could clearly see the reflection of her finger in it. Aeinshia was simply, amazed. She has never seen a stone like this. Nor even heard of from anyone or anywhere.

Andrew laughed at the amazed expression on her face. Her eyes wide and like twinkling stars, as she has seen the most beautiful amazing thing in this world. Her espression is sure worth to see right now and Andrew couldn't help but smile without knowing to himself.
