Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

82 Chapter 82. Lets make up for the time los

Guilty that she was the reason, her mother wasn't there anymore with them. Her father was so closed off, even to his children. Everything seemed to be like her fault.

In the past, and, now possibly in the present. Probably, she indeed cared when she was called as a cursed Child back when she was a child and named as a mother killer. It's just happened the moment to realise that, those words deeply pierced her heart, never letting her heart light and made her think birth itself is a mistake to begin with.

She was now afraid, no, absolutely terrified, how could she change the present, so that it wouldn't end up like the past results. She can't loose her loved ones in this lifetime too.

She couldn't loose them after knowing their real emotions. If that happens, she isn't sure she would be able carry that through her death again.

Andrew patted her head softly, till her cries subsided to soft whimpers and slightly lifted her head to face him. "No, don't ever think like that Aeinshia. Its not your fault. Its no one's fault. It was all fate. It was her time to rest and no matter the circumstances, she had to go. And, we had to move on." Andrew said and stopped while looking at Aeinshia, with pain in his eyes.

"I won't lie. At first, I blamed you. Then, I realized. We all have to go through that At the end. It was just the matter of time. She left us early. But, what I did to you wasn't acceptable. You didn't get mother's love and I robbed you from getting father's love. Ain't I a bad father?" Andrew chuckled bitterly at the end.

Aeinshia frantically shook her head and let out a sniffle "No, you are not, Father. You are always the best. I know. You love me more than anything in this world. You sacrificed your life for me, even though you never showed your love. I don't deserve it afterall what I've done." She hugged Andrew and started crying again.

Andrew didn't frowned as he didn't understand Aeinshia's words.

"What does she mean by sacrificed my life?" He was thinking, but was cut when Aeinshia whimpered and her whole body shook, violently.

He didn't understand that Aeinshia held this much pain inside her heart and struggled through it with alone. He totally blamed himslef for this. If he showed her enough love, maybe she won't be carrying this much pain.

If I was closer to her, maybe she wouldn't be blaming herself for all these.

Andrew shook his head firmly getting rid of all ifs and what its. It was not the time for regretting and not taking any actions. It was time to do something and show his daughter how much he loves her.

"Don't stress yourself with unnecessary thoughts. It would make you cry and what would the citizens say about you, when they see your puffy eyes and face? So, our princess is very puffy?" Andrew tried to lighter up her mood, by divert in her attention.

Aeinshia burst into laughter and wiped her face and eyes with a cloth nearby her. "Father, you are impossible." She said, while taking more of the cloth to wipe her nose.

Andrew's heart pinched when he heard that words. Yet, he let himself to slip out a smile. "Remember that you got your genes from me." He teased her and she giggled loudly. Which, was pure music to his ears.

There would be no father in this whole world, who wouldn't love his daughter's laughter and happiness. They would do anything for them to see them smile and be happy.

Andrew smiled fondly while watching Aenshia giggle happily. He was contented. He knew what he missed all these years and he vowed. He vowed that he would protect her from any trouble or danger. He would give all his love that she deserved and was kept away from all these years.

No one would rob Aeinshia of her happiness on Andrew's watch. No one. He would makr sure of that.

"Father aren't you coming to the festival?" Aeinshia subtly asked, breaking Andrew from his thoughts. He gave her a smile. "I would be with the Emperor. But, I won't stay long. I've to travel to west. And, I'm leaving tonight."

Andrew said with a sad smile.

Aeinshia too, smiled sadly. She wanted to spend time with her father. But, she also knows that duty always comes first. "Its alright, Father. We can spend more time together when you get back." Aeinshia spoke out, without thinking of her words.

"Sure. I think you would be back from your journey till I return from west. Then, I would have a lot of free time and we could spend it together with your brother. Let's plan for a big trip and make up for the lost time my dear daughter. How about you make a list of places you would like to visit. Father here will surely take you wherever you want. Remember, there is no place father can't take you. " Andrew spoke with a wide grin. He was already planning a little family picnic in his head.

Aeinshia's smile fell when she heard those words. She had to come back from her journey to spend more time with her father. Dread was creeping up to her heart, but a realization stopped that.

She was now protected. She had her brother and her lover to protect her. And, she was sure her father's guards would also be with her.

That epiphany made her smile stretch from ear to ear and she hugged her father tightly. She could hear her father laugh and she too, let out a giddy giggle. Because she knew.

She knew that this time she would change her ill-fate she was bounded to.

But, little did she know, the world was a lot big and a person's mind can get a lot ruthless
