Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

The young lady waiter opened a door, which is located exactly opposite to the entrance of the restaurant. There, Shirley was greeted by a very familiar figure. Viona.

"My, my, Looks like I aged alot that I didn't even notice our dear customer. Please take a seat, our humble and faithful customer." Viona, the old woman, got up from her seat and offered a seat to Shirley, not recognising the young Shirley now. Of course, she wouldn't recognize. As the saying went. A woman changes 18 times to turn from a girl to woman.

Viona barely saw the young Shirley back then and after joining in Rutz household, Shirley cut her all contacts to the outside world, except to wait for her master's call and to get inside information of black paw from her informants, trying to gain a footing on her own, planning her own troop at the same time.

Shirley only came once to meet when their master was here. Their master called for a meeting for the troop members and that's where she saw Shirley after she basically, was not there for any other gatherings. Shirley only took higher orders, after she was sent on the mission. 

"So, how us, the people's fortune restaurant can help you, Young Lady?" Viona asked as she intertwined her hands in front of her after taking seat facing Shirley. Viona was trying to read Shirley. 

It is a trait of every Black Pawn. As a member of Black Pawn, you have to know the other person before by the time your conversation with them ends. All the pros and con's associated with the person should be calculated and behavior should be given accordingly. 

Shirley sighed when she heard the restaurant name again. People's fortune restaurant , more like Seazle citizens misfortune. 

Shirley, then clicked her tongue, " Tsk, you should already start living your life in mountains, as your age isn't supporting you anymore. I see you are facing problems, manager of people's fortune. " She spoke keeping an underlying message in her sentence.( indirectly telling her to retire and rest since she doesn't even remember black paw main members). 

Viona didn't mind her words, she is a carefree soul after all.  She just smiled back, " I just wanna serve people, who are serving our empire at the cost of their lives. So I think I still got some energy left in this old soul to feed them but I will surely bare those words in my mind, as I'm aging fast. Oh, I miss my young age." Viona suddenly exclaimed and laighed out loud, making Shirley roll her eyes at the old lady, who doesnt know what to talk at what time.

"So what bought you here to our humble abode. " She asked again, in a very patient tone and smiled back. Turning to the worker, she gestured her to leave them alone, which was reciprocated by the maiden nodding her head lightly, leaving them two alone in the room.

" Wow, Viona.You really got your potential there, but I genuinely think you should stop working for black paw already.  " Shirley told making herself comfortable in the chair on front of a table. The room isn't luxurious. Everything is simple here. Just a table and one chair on one side and other chair opposite to it.

Black paw? Viona?

Not many people know her real name. Viona lost her composure at once, her eyes widened. She carefully examined Shirley. If she isn't member of Black paw, Viona is ready to kill her. She  took a knife from under the table, waiting for the opposite person to speak.

"Woah~ woah~, use your brain Viona. Why so serious. I complimented you, literally, a second ago. Now you do this? Please throw that knife in your hands away, " Shirley urged, knowing what Viona is upto. This isn't new to her. She could easily guess what Viona is upto now.

" Black falcon. Your memory sucks, Viona. Better take my advice and leave to the mountains. Before, someone beheads you for your careless actions. " Shirley declared and slightly glared at the old lady seated in front of her. 

Vione fretted for a second, black falcon, the infamous member in black paw, was very famous back then, when the black paw was taking a correct formation. Black falcon played a very major part in the master's plans till today and helped alot in the formation of their troop. How could she forget such important figure.

Viona placed her knife back inside the drawer, " Oh dear, dear , You changed alot. I really didn't recognize you. My mistake, young lady. Let's go to the store room. Black shallow of death is waiting for your arrival. " Viona replied, back to her cheerful mode but,  knowing what she have to do even without instructions.

Shirley nodded and followed her inside a store room. After all this was the moment she was waiting for. 

" Please go inside, " Viona told and left her, leaving herself to find the secret room inside the store room. As soon as Shirley entered she heard hushed voices coming from inside the secret room. She opened the room door only to greet with black wolf's glare as he spoke with black shallow of death, both not minding their surroundings,

" I really hate it when you won't even speak your opinion when you can stop such things from happening. What did the big boss do to you, that you are ready to bloody your hands for the big boss. Big boss is not worth for whatever he or she is chasing. Hell, I think they are not even worth for living a life. I am warning you, let's just leave that troop. " He spoke. 

" Looks like a heated discussion is going on here. Did I disturb you guys? Or do you mind if I also join? " Shirley asked leaving the other two stunned. 

Black wolf and black shallow of death turned almost instantly to see  whom this voice belongs to. Their legs rooted to the grounds. This is unexpected. She never took the initiative to meet then, but today, within inviting, she came.
