Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

" You are in no position to worry about what I do. I am in full consciousness and I do know what I am doing. And Chris.... " As her little brother's name appeared after a long time, all the pain left in her heart popped out at once. Chris is her only family, so she had to do everything to save his life.

Shirley is never afraid of death, if that's the case then she wouldn't even dare to be mole on the duke family, who is even a general. But she had something very valuable to her to protect and that is her brother.

Right now Chris is only getting concoctions which will subdue the effect of poison, but thats not a permanent solution. They have to find the type of what type of poison it was as soon as possible. So for this only use Shirley let her boss live happily and roam as the boss wished. If Chris condition got any better, than Shirley will surely step up and kill their boss.

In order to pledge allegiance with Shirley and make her a sworn loyal, their boss used Chris to blackmail Shirley. So by feeding poison to him, their boss successfully got Shirley on his back. But the boss didn't believe Shirley's words. The boss only look at results and actions. So Chris became a hostage of black pawns.

Shirley tried to escape him out of that hellhole, but the poison is not any normal one. And they don't know which poison he is fed by. If they use any other Antidote and if poison acts, then the loss is something Shirley couldn't bare. So for his safety purposes and to keep the effects of poison not act up, they had no choice but to leave him at black paw basement.

So for now, he is receiving medicine as a daily dosage, but that's not the antidote he is supposed to take, which should kill the poison inside his body. And adding things to their luck, the medicine is also brewed by their boss most trusted servant, not letting them know what is that temporary medicine.

But for now, as long as he takes his medicine regularly, he will be safe for sure. However, they don't know how long he can continue like that. So Shirley should be very careful of her each and every step and shouldn't even be suspected.

" Look at you. Worried about us. You never admit it. But you do care alot about us more than you think my dear, " Shirley spoke, her voice a soften knowing black shallow of death concerned about her and her brother, Chris.

Shirley: " I really hate that bastard. If I find that antidote, then I am gonna kill that fu*ker, " She spoke, getting irked up at the mention of their boss.

A crease formed on black shallow of death's forehead, his lips twitched at her words, " Be mindful of your words, " He warned her, not interested in bad mouthing his boss.

Tsk~ Shirley clicked her tongue, " What? I can curse boss as I like. Who are you to meddle with me,huh? It's boss fault to begin with, my mouth just can't help but do the part of work it has to, " Shirley gave an innocent look, blaming her mouth for everything.

" I hate boss to no end and boss sure deserves it" Shirley declared.

Of course no one wants such a boss, who uses ones weakness to work for them. Shirley isn't any exception to it. But that's not the only reason for her enmity with her boss, Black shallow of death to played a major role in it.

" I know using Chris against you is something unforgivable, but why do you hold such resentment to the point that you either get killed or kill the boss. Can't you just leave black paw. I will help you and to cure Chris, let's find miraculous doctor, I heard he can cure any poison, " Black shallow of death spoke, sincerity evident in his words.

" No one has ever seen him like for ten years, we don't even know if he is alive. How can I simply relay on few gossips, betting my brothers life on it? And how can I leave black pawns so easily? There's lots of old scores between us, and when time comes, you should stay away from us. I hope you won't be so nosy to meddle in out affairs, " She warned him, yet she clearly knew he will be a hindrance to her.

Taking a short breather, she continued, " And do you think I don't want to leave black paw troop. It's just that I can't. Right now black pawns are spread every nook and cranny of the empire. Even if I escape, I am bound to get count in a months or so span. So it's a fruitless option to choose at the end. "

" If I were to leave black pawns, then I should either have a strong backing or should make myself stronger than black paws or atleast should be able to compete with black paws, otherwise death is waiting for me. I don't have to make you remember old rules right? Leaving black pawns on our own accord or getting expelled results only one way, either get killed right at that moment or death awaiting for you, " She spoke logic to him. 

That's how black paw troop worked. Only joining the force is in their hands. If anyone wants to leave or got expelled means then its an instant death. If anyone is lucky enough to escape their death then they should await for their death. There is no way for them to escape. 

Right now black pawns are spread everywhere around the world. They are trying to gain allies and strengthen their power. If people are willing then they pledge allegiance with black paws and those who don't then they are given a special privilege. It's their death. Either they had to die or join black paws. No one will be spared here. So those who were against joining black paw troop, they could only wait for death. Death may be delayed ,but it soon meets them. So they have to be careful. 

Black shallow of death nodded his head understanding it, he is the one who managed black pawns under their boss leadership, so ofcourse he knew everything about it, " I can't help it. If it involves boss life, then I have no choice to save boss. However, if you ever plan to escape,then know that I am always here to help you. Escaping sure results death, but none of them got my back. If it's you, then I can do anything to save you, " He replied back calmly. 

One party is someone who is personal close and other is someone to whom he sworn loyalty, he can't chose both, so he should be clear at the very start of everything. 

" You are also a reason I am fighting for. I don't care whether you support me or not. But why must you be on my opposite side? "Shirley spoke, in bad mood, to realize, after all these years, black shallow of death is still living for boss orders.

Only truth will open his eyes. So Shirley should dig into the past and come up with proofs. That's the only way she can ensure black shallow of death's safety and the ones around her.

" How come I am a reason? " Black shallow of death enquired, amused to know he is the main reason and not Chris for Shirley's advances against their boss. 

Shirley shrugged her shoulders, " Reflect on yourself. How you used to be and how you are now. " She said plainly. 

Black shallow of death is the hands of their boss. He only needs a word from their boss, black shallow of death is willing to do anything from killing anyone to sacrifice himself for her. He is the shield to their master and until he got the strength to lift even a finger, he is bounded to protect his master for the vow he took for their master. That's how much he values his words. He never give blank vows to anyone. If he pledges, then he is bounded to it. 

For his one vow, he killed many people, the count is so large that Shirley doesn't remember the count of it, always bloodying his hands instead of his master, which included killing many innocents in his killing spree. He became a monster fitting his name of incarnation of devil. 

He even destroyed a whole village once, leaving many people homeless, just because a word came out of his Masters mouth. He is even willing to step on any war against anyone for his master for the vow he made. 

Shirley smiled wickedly, " I am willing to give a free advice. Everyone is cruel by nature. They just need a bridge to come out to become a better and good person, and that's the environment. It's boss fault for creating such an environment to you. We thought our lives will be bright staying by boss side. But now, we can't even sleep calmly with the deeds we did. It's boss fault making you bloodthirsty. Can you even hear those silent cries of those helpless people? It's boss who made you such an heartless s*um. "

If it wasn't for her, then you wouldn't be the one you are now. Everything is boss fault. I will avenge for you and will let you know the true colours of that b*stard.

" Boss is sending subordinates under him to check on the mission, so be careful. I know I can't expect or stop you from interrupting in this mission, " He advised her, worried about her safety. 

Shirley simply nodded her head, knowing about it already. 

She got a lot of work to do know for the sake of Aeinshia. She just can't rest till she came up with an amazing idea to save both her and Aeinshia.
