Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

Or am I over thinking? What if every one wants to get rid of Rutz household for gaining power?

It's not that easy to get rid of my family, but that would be a different case if everyone were each other's accomplices. And we have royals support, but back then uncle got murdered, losing our most important supporter and our family is in all mess, and striking us is sure a win to them, just like a prey walking to the predators trap.

And I am the only person who is centre to all those chaos. Huh, just thinking about future is giving me a massive headache. But now, let's think about my brother. I can't see him walking into the fire pit again this time, sacrificing himself for me like in the past. I should make sure he won't choose the same option if everything repeats.

He has a long life to live. He has a bright future as the future Duke and the royal advisor for the future Emperor of the Seazle Empire. He has to meet his the one and only love and keep on the Rutz bloodline.

He should realise, he should stay alive and live his life to his fullest, rather than sacrificing his life for me. He should live his life without having me in his mind. He can't keep throwing his own life and happiness because of me."

Aeinshia internal thoughts were going on and seemed to supposedly endless.

"Please leave your hair in my care my princess, " He voiced out, finally deciding on a hairstyle.

His voice made her to hit back to reality.

Aeinshia smiled lightly, " Looks like my brother got a lot of experience in styling ladies hair? " She spoke, wondering to know whether he had crush on anyone after all these years.

If not, he should get one. She knows of how slow Felix is in those matters. Her brother acts oblivious, but he is very oblivious in the love and romance matters. She knows, he has many admirers, but Felix doesn't even spare a glance at them. 

"Maybe I should help my brother to find her. Yeah, that would be it. Even if she is around, he won't pay attention because he has to watch. Now, its time for me to involve." Aeinshia thought. Very determined to make Felix to match with a suitable and sweet girl.

" Oh? you wanna test me? Sure I learned a lot and gained experience, do you wanna see the magic in these hands, my darling sister, " He commented, clearly understood Aeinshia wants to know about his love life. However, she didn't remember the actual matter of raising such question, as curiosity spiked inside her. 

I don't even think someone would like me. Not literally. I can get any woman I desire with my looks and position as a future Duke, but looks and status aren't everything. Understanding is very important. And, she has to understand this complicated, over protective single being. 

Thinking such he shifted his gaze towards his sister, " You know what? This magical hands worked hard on fixing two women hair in this lifetime and I can assure you I learned a lot in this experience. "

This reply from Felix piqued Aeinshia's interest. All her senses spiked up, especially her hear in ability seems to be tripled, and concentrated on Felix to know who were those two women, who successfully grabbed Felix's interest, who is as dense like a log which beyond any cure regarding romantic relationships and all.

" Wow, this is a big news, who are those lucky women brother? " She asked, her eyes lit brightly, turned herself into gossipy mode. Felix always shared everything with her, his secrets, his wisdom and all, never having anything to hide from her.

He always wanted to be clean to his sister and be atmost transparent to get from the start, after all, he loves his sister more than anyone else in his world. So he always righteously voiced out everything she wanted to know and didn't let the idea of hiding anything from her. 

Felix believes that by telling his experiences to her, he can teach her some valuable life lessons. The advantage is their age gap. He was almost three years older than her and he experienced some and had to analyze the situations and people, so he believed he can educate her by real life lessons. 

Even, when he away was in City Valencia to learn new skills and to strengthen other skills, he used to write her lots of letters telling her tales and situations he faced there. Aeinshia was growing up while he was gone, so he tried his best to explain the situations and things there. 

In fact the word, 'mother' tagged back to his name is less to describe. He cared for her more than her mother might care and explained anything and everything she asked for and sought out for. Without any to call as father figure too, Felix became everything to her. Her protector, her teacher, her playmate and her pillar whenever she felt low and guilty about their mother's death.

He is the best brother and teacher she got without asking for.

She knew what value, Felix held in her life and never took him for granted, always trying hard to reach his expectations for her, but what Aeinshia doesn't know is, he actually never expected much of her and only cared how comfortable he can make her life from the very start and will continue till the end. 

And now it's time to settle his life already. She is betrothed and set to become wife of the next Emperor and her brother should also, be finding someone his type. He will be soon 16 this year. Evan and Felix were of same age, but they had months difference, making Felix older among all, in this generation. So marriages are bound to be a topic revolving around Evan and Felix.

And it is basically a common practice to already get engaged and have a fiance even before a boy celebrated his coming of age ceremony, and Evan and Felix were no exception to it. Because one is Royal and the other will be a Duke in the near future and potential important person in the Royal Court, everyone wants to grab their attention and is ready to tie relationship with them, resulting many officials to flock around them and their father's for marriage. 

In this era and age, people only think marriage as a business proposal to establish their strength and show their power. However, Both Andrew and Alexander were never interested in political marriages. 

Alexander already experienced how political marriages will be and didn't want his son to go through the same experience, whereas Andrew already experienced his life with someone who understands him, loves him, cares for him and stayed by his side through thick and thin.

So he too expect his children to marry someone out of love and don't wanna have a marriage which makes them feel bounded to, resulting him to not force any of his children for their marriage, even when his son will soon reach the coming of age ceremony and become a true knight to protect the great Seazle empire and continue the prosperity of the Rutz Duke household . 

But, she knew better. She knew Felix like he knew like the back of hand. Felix may come off as easy and happy go lucky guy. But, there is more to it. He is caring, by the fact that he practically raised Aeinshia. But, Felix won't open up his heart to just anyone. 

He may not accept it, but he is more like their father. Locking away his emotions. Never showing true emotions to anyone, but people close to him. That is Aeinshia and Alexander. That's the reason he was not already finding his love. But, the main reason is no one catched his eye. Nobody were up to his expectations and mature enough to understand him. 

Felix pulled Aeinshia's locks hard, just hard for her to hiss in pain, but not too hard to make her cry because of it, " Idiot. It's you my darling sister and our mother. And do you really think you are already old enough to talk about love and other matters to your older brother? First Grow up, " He chided her sweetly, while cupping her head and shaking it playfully, still working on neatly arranging her locks. 

Aeinshia sticked her tongue out playfully, while her face said to Felix, ' you are no fun. '

" Of course. I am already 13 years old and I am engaged, which clearly shows I'm a grown up, " She told, trying to speak logic with him in vain. She knew Felix was good with logic and he would have an apt comeback ready for her. 

Felix smiled back in triumph, " However, my dear little sister. Even when you grew all old, your hair turn grey and your teeth are loose and were about to fall down because of your old age, you will still be my LITTLE sister and only I can be your older brother. So you are never old enough than me. Besides, you being engaged doesn't change the fact too," He spoke stressing the fact 'little sister'.

And, Aeinshia only gave him a confused face.
