Reborn: The Unexpected Twist

Chapter 67 - Seek others

After both of them reached inside the washroom, Taehee put Jinhee down on the floor, and the black eyes of Jinhee glared at Taehee hard. It would be too mortifying if anyone recognized both of them.

"Your u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r is quite cute," Taehee commented.

Jinhee's eyes widened when she saw herself stand in front of the mirror, which was placed above of the bathroom sink. The white shirt of hers had become transparent, allowing a clear view of her upper u.n.d.e.r.g.a.r.m.e.n.t.

Not staring at the direction of Jinhee, Taehee voiced out, "The clothes will be bought here in a while."

Although Jinhee was not truly sure of Taehee's intention on carrying her, she was grateful to her, for if it wasn't for her, then people would have seen her in that embarrassing state.

Then again, Jinhee wouldn't reach such a situation in the first place if Taehee didn't drench her with water. Nonetheless, blame should be somewhat placed on her too since she was the one who initiated it.

"Thanks," Jinhee mumbled out, wishing that Taehee hadn't heard it. Her ego was already too much inflated, and Jinhee had no d.e.s.i.r.e to pump more air into it.

"You needn't be; I can't let my woman be seen by someone else," Taehee said— her voice sounding cheerful.

"Han Taehee, sooner or later, I'll surely beat you up terribly," Jinhee vocalised honestly.

Letting out a laughter, Taehee stated, "Can you even beat me up with those weak arms of yours?"

Compared to Taehee, Jinhee surely was lacking in strength, but that didn't mean she was weak. She swore to herself that one of these days, she'll surely avenge herself.

"You just have abnormal amount of strength," Jinhee retorted.

"This strength of mine will make you swoon," Taehee voiced out teasingly.

Since talking with someone like Taehee was a waste of her time and energy, she made no effort to give a reply.

"I'm sorry for the delay," Jinhee stated as she walked into the room with Taehee.

Chaewon and Jaehyun were seated beside each other. The mess of water they had made earlier was cleaned, and it seems that the two of them started studying already.

Chaewon and Jaehyun nodded, and Jinhee took the seat opposite to Jaehyun. Her heart palpitated irregularly in her c.h.e.s.t, mostly due to nervousness.

She hadn't yet replied to Jaehyun's confession, and leading him on was what she wanted to do the least. It was just that she hadn't found a proper moment to reject him.

Serious expression sat on Chaewon's and Jaehyun's face whilst they went through the problems, whilst Taehee twirled the pen in her hand as she looked at the question lazily.

Taking out her English book, she started solving the grammar related questions. The first few were basics, and she had no problem in going through them.

Nonetheless, she got stuck when it came to the fourth question, and raising her head up, she looked towards Chaewon for help.

She wasn't exactly sure of how to start up a conversation with Jaehyun, and asking Taehee will only lead to unnecessary talks.

"Chaewon, what do you think the answer for this will be?" Jinhee questioned while pointing towards the said question with her pen.

A hand was wrapped around her shoulder, and a voice spoke out, "When you have me so close to you, why do you have to seek others for help, darling?"

Irritation was the first thing Jinhee felt after hearing Taehee's voice. What would it take for Taehee to not disturb her?

"The 'were' should be replaced with a 'was', and the ending should be a period, instead of an exclamation mark. 'Elation' was wrongly used there," Jaehyun said, giving answer to the doubt Jinhee had either.

Not understanding completely why Taehee was glaring at Jinhee, Jinhee said, "Thanks about that, Jaehyun."
