Reborn: The Villainess Shines

Walking back to my campsite, I looked at the beautiful pin wondering why that Damon guy gave it to me before he left. *Ding* [Dear host, requirements have been met, would you like to know the details of the hidden mission?] Momo asked. I almost stopped in my tracks but just smiled and told Momo to go ahead.

Seeing my campsite, I let out a loud sigh that really made me upset, 'Momo, this is only my third world, right? Why are these missions so hard, shouldn't they be easier for me to accomplish?' I asked sitting back on my log.

[Dear host, I have absolute fate that you'll be able to overcome any situation and will be able to help our poor targets.] Momo said in a voice that sounded like pride and joy.

'Well, that doesn't really help me but still thanks for the encouragement.' I told Momo.

Leaning back I looked up at the moon shining brightly, 'Why, oh why, did I get stuck with this system.' I thought while waiting for the night to pass.

Damon's PoV

I couldn't believe I got caught in the middle of a 'Screecer's' Den when I was trying to make my way back to my soldiers. Usually, those puny creatures would be no match for me but I was weakened from opening the 'Saipai Seal', deep in the crimson woods. Feeling my magic running out fast, I used my powers to call out for my personal soldiers, in hopes that they would respond.

Seeing a fire ring surround me I believed that my close knight, Jason, was upon me. Closing my eyes, I was going to leave the rest to them while I regained my strength. When I opened my eyes, I was not expecting to see a pretty young red-haired girl staring down at me. Feeling the effects of top-tier healing magic, I couldn't believe I met a healer this deep into the woods. When the young girl touched me on the back I felt an over the whelming rush of power seeps into my body.

After talking to her for a while I could tell that this girl came from a noble background. She is also very smart to answer my question but at the same time omitting information. I was very happy that she came to my recuse but there was no way I believed she was doing simple training in these particular woods. At the very least I got some information from my pretty little savior, I now know that the kingdom of Asteria still has no idea about my homeland.

While I was talking to her I heard my personal aide and childhood friend, Vlad, mentally calling me. 'Prince Damon, can you hear me?' He asked in a worried voice. 'Vlad?' I asked while keeping my face the same as not to alert my savior.

'Oh, thank the goddess that you're alright. When I lost your location after you came out of the temple, I had a hard time tracking you down. Shall I and the rest of your guard come to you?' He asked.

Narrowing my eyes, 'No. I'll come to you, there are just a few things I have to take care of before coming back.' I told him then cut off our communication.

Taking my savior's hand I have her a warm smile while answering her question, "I'm great, thanks to you. I need to leave but I'll meet you again my dear savior until day please be safe." I told her disappearing right after. Of course, I gave her a sure sign of our future meeting by leaving behind my royal seal.

Appearing in the middle of my campsite, I was quickly surrounded by guards and aides. "Prince Damon, I'm happy that you are well. Please forgive me for not doing my duty and keeping you safe." Jason stated on one knee. Smiling, I took off my cloak, "Don't worry so much, as you know only I was able to enter the temple so you wouldn't be much help during that time. Besides, I'm blessed with luck and always comes out fine at the end of the day." I told him sitting down at the head seat.

"Sir, our scouts have reported that the kingdom of Asteria has been doing training in these woods. From the information we gathered, those in training are newly awakened magic abilities users. Would you like us to take these students out, making it much easier for your future plans." Vlad explained.

Smirking, I leaned my head in my hand, if this was any other day I would have given the order to take out those students. Now that I have met Lady Nadia, I'll have to rethink my plans for the kingdom of Asteria.

With an evil smile forming on my face, 'King of Asteria, you should thank your luck that you have such an impressive magical user in your kingdom. Lady Nadia, I can't wait until the day I'll meet you again, I feel our path was meant to cross.' I thought while standing and looking at the moon.
