Reborn: Ulquiorra In DxD World

The next day, important people like Sirzechs, Grayfia, and Azazel arrived at Issei's house late at night. They were gathered in the VIP room located on top of the floor of Hyoudo residence. They gathered the Gremory team with serious faces so they knew that it had to be a serious discussion. Sirzechs made Issei, Kiba, Akeno, and Rias sit in front of him.

"Why did you gather us here Oni-sama?" Rias asked Sirzechs.

"We're still waiting for someone" Sirzechs said to her.

Suddenly they heard someone opened the door all of them turned their heads and saw Sona with Ulquiorra.

"Sona?! Ulquiorra?!" Rias was surprised when she saw them.

"Okay, now that we're all here I'll tell you now" Sirzechs said.

Ulquiorra find a vacant chair and sat beside Issei. Sona too sat beside Ulquiorra.

Sirzechs then began to speak. "Just as I told the three of you last time, Issei, Kiba, and Akeno have accomplished many achievements especially you Ulquiorra, so the topic about you getting promotion have been decided by us, the Four Satans, and the top council members... "

"Serafall even cause a ruckus there in the council." Sirzechs said as he remember the scene where Serafall create a commotion in the council saying that her greatest sidekick didn't need such test just directly promote him.

"Hahaha!" Azazel laughed at his words as he imagined that scene.

"Onee-sama" Sona lowered her head feeling embarrassed for her sister.

"About the promotion, it would be natural that you three get should get a promotion to High-class devils by skipping the Middle-class devil exam. And Ulquiorra should get a promotion to Ultimate-class devil as your strength is enough to even defeat a god. But because of the promotion system we would like you to go through the middle-class devil exam first." Sirzechs said. This shocked Issei and the rest.

"High-class devil?!" Issei exclaimed in shocked. Akeno and Issei were also shocked but not as much as Issei.

"..." Ulquiorra still had the same plain expression.

Azazel said while drinking the sake in the glass. "It won't be weird for Issei, Kiba, and Akeno to become high class devils judging from your achievements and Ulquiorra to become ultimate class devil after defeating Loki and battling Samael to a stand off. But it seems like there are steps even in the world of devils. Especially the higher ups are so noisy about it. They acknowledge the special promotion for you, but they are also saying to follow the proper procedures. That's why you all will become Middle-class devils and be active in that rank for a while. Then soon after you will receive a promotion to become a High-class devils from them and after that the Ultimate-class. You guys can plan what to do when you become a High-class devils during your time as Middle-class devils."

"Mi-middle-class and Hi-high-class devil...! Yo-you are telling me that I have the right to become one." Issei said in shocked.

Sirzechs smile and nodded, "Yes, holding your own against Loki and defeating a terrorist is a big achievements. And you have shown magnificent fighting skills in the last match against Bael. Even more Issei you are the popular Oppai Dragon. It won't be weird if the topic of the promotion comes to you. No, should I say this is an expected result."

"Congratulations on your promotion recommendation Ulquiorra." Sona smiled as she congratulate Ulquiorra.

Ulquiorra looked at her and he nodded his head. His expression didn't even change for the entire time.

"..." Sona was speechless at his response.

"Congratulations on your promotion recommendation Issei, Yuuto, Akeno. I'm really blessed at having you." Rias smiled with a satisfied face.

"Yes, it's good news. You guys are comrades I can be proud of." Xenovia said excitedly.

"Ise-san, Kiba-san, Akeno-san, congratulations." Asia said to them before she turned to Ulquiorra and congratulate him. "You too Ulquiorra-san, congratulations."

"So like that next week the four of you, Ulquiorra, Issei, Kiba, Akeno will participate in the Middle-class devil promotion test in the underworld." Sirzechs said.

"Eh! Next week! That's all of a sudden." Issei exclaimed.

"Don't worry. All of you will pass the test. I'm sure of it." Azazel said to them.

"Don't worry Issei you can do it. I will help you in your studies." Rias patted Issei's shoulder and said.

"Ara-ara, it seems I need to join your studies." Akeno joined and Kiba also express his intention to help Issei in his study.

Ulquiorra just looked at their interactions.

"Is there something wrong Ulquiorra?" He heard a voice to his side. He turned his head and saw Azazel looking at him.

"Nothing" Ulquiorra shook his head.

"Can you tell me what are your thoughts about Samael?" Azazel asked him.

Azazel's question piqued everyone's attention. All of them looked at Ulquiorra including Sirzechs and Grayfia.

Ulquiorra looked at him deeply before he answer, "Although he looks like he lose his conscience he could still differentiate the enemy and ally but that's all. All he do was charge at enemies with powerful attacks. But I could feel that is not his full strength. Some type of seal is restraining him."

"That's the seal that God put on him. He was cursed by the God for tricking Adam and Eve and was banished into the deepest level of cocytus. Samael turned into a half dragon that's why he hates all the dragons in the world." Azazel said. "Well, he wouldn't be able to stay here in the world for too long because of that. Eventually he will return back to cocytus and stay there for thousands of years before he could leave again."
