Zen's speech was really long but it didn't bother me that much cause the emotions I felt from him made me invested in his story he would surely make an amazing storyteller. I look at him spreading his arms and think why so fast he still has time in the original everything happened two to three days from now.

I accept both requests making me now the Owner of the Maze making me rename it Cedric's Maze. While I send my mana through the Familiar connection to Dryad with the instructions to make a really big tree envelope the entire Maze. After a while, I get a confirmation from Dryad telling me it's done.

Zen looks at me and I realize something is off. Zen starts shaking violently his bones rattle around making it sound rather disturbing. "Why didn't you finish me off instantly giving you the privileges took the last of my sanity so why did you wait. Make it fast our you won't be able to finish me anymore."

Zen's long scream made me realize his predicament he was slowly turning into a very strong demon lord. It was too late for me to stop his transformation. His white bones rapidly turned pitch black his eye sockets that shone purple before now start to shine in a dangerous crimson.

All my skills tell me to run even unique and divine skills tell me he is dangerous. I hope I can beat him somehow with some items that I got from the Dragon Valley.

Zen lifts his arm that starts to release black smoke turning everything it touches into its dead counterparts. The stone floor turned to sand and the homunculi slowly crumbled to dust while trying to get Zen to calm down. I instantly took the divine sword out of the storage knowing the holy swords won't show any effect on Zen anymore.

He rushes to me at a speed that leaves me stupified. He slashes at me with a sword made of dark magic he cuts through the unique skill absolute defense like it's butter letting me know it's on par with dragon rending sword magic from the original.

I step back slashing at his sword destroying it only for it to reform instantly. The log is running at an amazing speed with resisted instant death messages also resisted curse and chaos messages. I instantly realize I need to use the divine sword for real and poor millions of mp into it.

Destroying the wall in the process I cut through Zen from left to right while screaming aloud "Vanish!!!" My attack slowly demonstrated its power by turning Zen into particles of dust. The last words he said were really nice to my ears.

"Thank you Hero, I am soon here my beloved Lilutina." His content voice let me know he is truly released from the torment of eternal suffering and loneliness. Just that the gaping hole in the wall of my new plaything stresses me off.

I start repairing any damage to the Maze together with Nana and change its name to Zen's Maze out of respect for the dead man that merely wanted to reunite with his family.
