Yue Yang was meditating to calm his mind. He wanted to be at his best state before his breakthrough. He had already planned everything for this night since he didn't want to implicate the house he had chosen to do it at the outskirts of the city. Now he only needed to go out when the whole house was sleeping. He knew that he would not be able to hide his breakthrough so he wanted the farthest away from white stone city so he will lead the astray the court even if they sense his. He wanted them to investigate outside the area of white stone city, he didn't want them to ruin his hunt for monsters and humans for nurturing his beasts.

After meditating for 2 hours he stopped. He wanted to distract his mind before the time so he decided to take the little girl Yue Shang and take her to the market for a tour and see if he could find things that interested him.

The market was bustling and you could see many sellers trying to attire clients by showing items. The little girl in his hand was so excited that she was looking everywhere as though it was her first time in the market. He couldn't help laughing seeing the little girl so excited. She was completely different from when she was near her mother. Looking at her he asked, " Shang'er what do you want? Say it and I will buy it for you." Hearing him the little girl eyes began shining, she then pointed her hand toward a stall selling candy and started saying, " Big Brother I want all the candies in the market!" Yue Yang was speechless! Wasn't this little girl too much into candies? Every time she asks for a gift it was always candies and nothing else. Now he understands why she will have such a guardian beast and inherent skill in the future. She was too obsessed with candies.

"Ok. I will buy you the candies only if you are a good girl. You are a good girl, aren't you?"

"Yes, big brother I am a good girl! I always listen to mother." She said with puppies eyes.

"Are you sure? Who's always punished by mother?" Said, Yue Yang looking at the little girl. Yue Shang looked at the ground dejected.

Looking at the sad girl he said, " How about this; today I'll buy you 10 candies and in the future, if you are a good girl and you listen to mother I'll buy you all kind of candies that you like." This time Yue Shang was so excited that she began jumping saying, "Yeah big brother you are the best. From now on, I will be a good girl. Long live Big Brother!".

After touring the market and seeing the items Yue Yang wasn't interested in anything but he had a good time with Yue Shang. They returned home in the afternoon. The little girl was so tired that she immediately fell asleep in her mother arms. Yue Yang on the other after leaving the little girl in her mother arms went directly in his room to rest before going out.

When it was dinner time he was wakened up by the servant and he went to eat with the family. After eating he went straight to his room and began meditating while paying attention to the whole house so he could sneak out when they are all sleeping.

He waited for almost 2 hours before sneaking out. He went straight to the forest in the outskirts of the city and then went to the most hidden place in the forest.

After that, he sat there and begin circulating the sword Qi in his body. With the pendant helping him his energy surged like a volcano waiting to erupt at any given time. He began connecting all twelve energy channels which he had already opened beforehand.

When all twelve energy connected together, a pillar of energy surged from his body reaching the sky and went beyond the clouds. He felt like he was one with en and could control all creatures in this world, but this feeling lasted only for sometimes before disappearing like it was never excited. After his breakthrough, he felt so light like he was a feather and his fist could shatter the heavens. Yue Yang didn't become arrogant nor was he satisfied with his current strength, he knew that even with his skill and his cheats he was only a bigger ant meaning he was still weak. This was only one of the steps to pass through if he wants to become stronger. If he wanted to rule over his fate the first he has to know that no matter what realm he was in he was still weak and there was another sky beyond the sky he was seeing.

While he was having his philosophical thinking the Da Xia empire was in turmoil since they discovered that a new innate was born but they couldn't see anything about the new innate. So they began searching for this new powerhouse but they weren't able to find anything.

Yue Yang was meditating to absorb the leftover energy left by his breakthrough when he felt that something was off. The energy was being absorbed very quickly but it wasn't him so he wondered who was the thief that was robbing his energy.

When he opened his eyes he saw something that looked like a black hole that was absorbing every energy left. He was dumbfounded, what he saw was his second guardian best standing there absorbing all the energy left. No! It was more accurate to say that it was devouring the energy.

'How can it be here? I didn't even summon it!' That was what he was thinking right now. He knew that there beast that can exit the grimoire without being summoned but they were all sentient beasts. He knew this thing wasn't sentient so how comes it's in front of him right now?.
