Reincarnated Into Anime World

Chapter 103 - 101: Deadman Wonderland Side Part 11

My eyes opened to a bright ray of sunlight filtering through my window...not. I only had bars that separated me from the outside world. After Shiro broke the windows the last time, nobody came to fix it, so it remained there as it was.

After the "fight", I had made my way back to my cell. I was too bothered to do anything else for the day.

"Fuutarou!"

A cheerful voice sounded from beside me, and I was instantly shot awake.

"S-Shiro?"

"What's wrong, Fuutarou? Are you sad about your snack? Shiro is sorry! You were asleep, so I ate your snack too."

I looked at her innocent blinking eyes, which contained no trace of any negative emotions, and I calmed down.

"It's fine. You can have my snack. More importantly, do you remember anything from the courtyard?"

"Courtyard? There was a terrorist act in the courtyard. What is a terrorist act?"

"It's not a terrorist act. But where were you during that time?"

Shiro stopped chewing and thought for a while, "Um...Shiro...can't remember? Shiro remembers...a dark place?"

So Shiro doesn't remember anything, huh?

She just sat down beside my bed, eating my snacks. She looked so fragile, so delicate with her rather slim figure. My hand was raised towards her, aiming at her neck. So easy, so dainty her neck was to break...

Shiro just looked at my hand curiously, making no intention to move away at all. I don't know whether she knew about my attention or not, but it seemed as though she wanted me to kill her.

My hands reached closer and closer to her neck, but it eventually moved up towards her head, and I patted her.

"Fuutarou?" Shiro tilted her head cutely.

"It's nothing. Let's go take a walk."

"Yay!"

To be honest, I have no idea what to do in this entertainment-filled place. I mean, I do have the goal to complete this trial, but how do I achieve the goal if I don't even know what it is? .

Walking with Shiro, I continued making my way somewhere.

But just as I was concerned about my purpose in this wonderland, an announcement rang out.

"It is forbidden to be outside at this moment. Please return to your cells within 5 minutes. However..."

"Number 5580, please turn yourself into the closest authority figure."

"Number 5580, immediately turn yourself in...we repeat..."

Oh God, now what? Who is the retard causing trouble now?

"Fuutarou? Why are they calling for you?" Shiro asked as she stopped next to me.

Face-palming myself, I checked my armband secured to my prison attire and saw the numbers - 5580.

Great, I'm the retard. Well, I guessed that someone with authority had already called in for me. The security personnel probably had seen the surveillance footage of me manipulating blood.

Furthermore, they probably couldn't find anything about the red man, so they had no other choice but to call for me.

I turned to look at Shiro, the cause of this entire mess, and I sighed.

"Whatever, let's go, Shiro."

"Go where?"

"Play."

"Let's race!"

After saying that, Shiro immediately took off. One simple word was enough to convince Shiro to follow me. Or make me follow her since she seemed to be running in a particular direction.

Regardless, I followed after her. I made sure not to overtake her, which proved to be a relatively simple job since Shiro's physical abilities were as ridiculous as always. Well, I can't say much since I'm pretty much similar to her.

Eventually, we reached a dead end.

"Well, shit." Examining the wall, I cursed, "It seems that the highest level of security had been activated. Shiro, do you have anywhere else to go?"

Shiro thought for a while before replying, "How about my home?"

But before I could reply, a massive earthquake shook the earth. As it turns out, it wasn't an earthquake as a giant robot suddenly appeared in front of us.

"Um...Shiro? Do you mind guiding us to your home now?" I hurriedly asked as I stared at the towering robot.

"Hai!"

I expected her to dodge the robot and run to someplace else. But, once again, she exceeded all of my expectations for her and kicked the wall. Note that the walls in this place weren't the same walls used to build our average homes. There were reinforced concrete and metal in one layer of wall, which was a few inches thick.

And Shiro's kick instantly destroyed a small area of the wall.

Man, am I the main character, or is she? Even I can't kick a hole through the wall; at most, I could put a dent on it, but definitely not a hole.

"A ventilation duct?"

"Push a little and can go to lots of places." Shiro cheered as she climbed inside.

"Push a little", huh? A wry smile appeared on my face as I followed her inside. If only everybody would just "push a little" and be able to go anywhere...corridors and hallways would be deemed useless.

Just as I entered the wall, I spotted a huge-ass gun coming out of the robot as though it was its dɨċk as multiple specks of lights appeared at its tip.

Shit.

"Faster, Shiro!"

As we hurriedly climbed through the ventilation duct, I felt an impact, but my worry was groundless and needless.

A corrosive shot of acid couldn't melt the reinforced concrete and metal that Shiro easily kicked a hole in. But trouble never comes alone. As soon as it noticed that the acid didn't do its job, it smashed its entire body against the wall.

But we weren't planning to sit still and let it kill us. Shiro opened a trapdoor that led somewhere down, which, fortunately, was too small for the giant robot to follow us.

We entered the sewer system and eventually into the front of a giant door that made the robot look like an ant.

The letter "G" was painted onto the door, signaling the entrance to the never-before-seen ward.

"You live in G ward? What even is in G ward anyway?"

"Yes? But G is boring; G ward has nothing. So, I always find Fuutarou to play!" Shiro said with a smile.

Yes, a moment of peace...or not. I wanted to slap me and my stupid mouth as the giant robot fell right in front of us.

Next time, I should just shut up.

This robot has nothing better to do, I swear to God. It chased us all the way to the middle of a supposedly "hidden" ward. I bet the person who controlled this thing wouldn't even know where they had stumbled onto.

But the space here was huge, unlike the small corridor of the regular wards. And with the lack of security in this dirt-filled place, I have no qualms in going all out.

But first...I looked around me and found a relatively sharp piece of concrete. I'm no mȧsȯċhɨst, but blood manipulation outside the body requires, well, blood.

After doing what mȧsȯċhɨsts would enjoy doing, I controlled my blood, but my imagination hardly impacted what the blood could turn to.

Hmm...this is a severe limitation; I could only mimic Shiro's chains. I shouldn't have cut myself for these chains; my tails would have done the same job minus the pain part.

But there was no use regretting. Since my chains were out already, I might as well make full use of them minus the pain.

"Shiro, stand back."

Shiro didn't argue and took a step back compliantly.

...you know what? It's fine. She can protect herself.

The robot fired out missiles from its side, but my blood chains quickly exploded them prematurely. I didn't waste time and dashed towards the robot.

I was small and agile, so close-range fights would be better for me against a huge robot. Plus, if it's stupid, I can hopefully cause it to fire its weapons at itself.

Hopping onto one of its legs, it attempted to shake me off, but my claws dug deep into its circuit, providing me a relatively stable hold. As soon as it found out that its actions were meaningless, it then proceeded to swipe me off using its giant hand.

I tore out some wires and circuits before jumping off its leg, its hand missing its target entirely.

"Go Fuutarou, go!" Shiro cheered, hopping up and down on the spot while waving her hands in the air excitedly.

My girl...

However, that split-second distraction was enough to send me flying as a hand crashed into me.

"GAH...h?" I wanted to spit blood like those shonen protagonists in a pickle, but the only thing I spat out was some saliva and air from my lungs. It didn't hurt as much as I thought, though the impact against the wall did leave me bruised in some areas.

"Fuutarou!"

"I'm fine!" I hurriedly replied lest Shiro decided to jump into the fight. But...I don't think she cared as she jumped into the fight and landed a kick onto the robot.

"Fuutarou's so...stupid!!" She angrily said as she stood on top of the fallen robot, her long, white hair fluttering behind her, "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!"

"Huh?"

"Shiro can fight too! Shiro is not weak! Shiro's Fuutarou's friend too!" Shiro screamed in indignation as she waved her hands, "So why you keep getting hurt for Shiro? Fuutarou is weak, so let me protect Fuutarou instead! Friends protect each other!"

"Huh?" Now, it's my turn to be confused, "What are you even talking about?"

"You keep getting hurt because of Shiro! But Shiro isn't weak! Shiro doesn't want to see you injured!"

Says the person whose alter ego almost killed me - twice, at that.

"Sigh...I..."

I didn't know how to reply to her. Promise that I would stop getting hurt? Impossible. I don't think the author would start writing that.

Explain to her why I need to be injured to keep the plot going? She wouldn't understand a single thing I was spouting from my mouth.

But before she could continue screaming, her expression suddenly became confused as a hand wrapped around Shiro's body.

"Eh?"

"Eh?"

But just as I was about to run towards Shiro, the robot's head suddenly turned towards me and shot two beams of lasers.

What the...that looks cool as hell.

But priorities; Shiro first.

Ignoring the flames on the ground, I continued making my way towards Shiro as I saw a mark aimed at Shiro's forehead.

"SHIRO! USE YOUR STRENGTH AND PUNCH OUT OF ITS GRASP!" I shouted as a laser started to gather power to fire at Shiro.

BOOOOOOOOOM!

But just before the moment I could retrieve Shiro with my tails, a few swirls of...blood suddenly appeared and split the robot into half effortlessly. Well, the robot alongside the entire door.

With the entire door now gone, the bright rays of light from the other side could now enter this place. Immediately, I took Shiro back to my side with my tails as my eyes narrowed at the newcomer.

"So soft!" Shiro happily exclaimed as my tails wrapped around her waist but pouted as quickly as I retracted my tails.

"Dead center!" He spoke as he walked out of the shadows, revealing some of his facial and body features.

He was a tall, muscular man with a tan. He wore his short black hair spiked back and had the letters DSMK tattooed above his right eye. He wore dark blue pants with a black belt, a tank top, leather shoes, a long black coat, and a necklet around his neck like any other prisoner in this wonderland.

With the blood swirling around his finger like he was in the water, displaying his exceptional control over his powers, he let out a smirk as he spoke, "Welcome."

"Woodpecker."

Sigh, I haven't written anything in 9 weeks now. School really sucks~ I'm so fkin stressed...someone get me out of this hellhole. I also have IB oral this week...fml
