At the Grand Line Sea near Whiskey Peak…

Nico Robin and I were facing each other. She was sailing on her Giant Sea Turtle, while I was hovering on a raft near her.

"I guess Crocodile failed to kill you after your betrayal huh."

"Or maybe I'm a ghost." I shook my head. Then, I pointed in the direction of the distant Going Merry and continued, "And talking about betrayal, you're sure letting an important someone escape."

A touch of a smile developed on Robin's face as she glanced in the direction of the ship too. "Ah, Vivi… What a fairy tale story about a princess trying to save her nation. It sure gives one hope… Too bad Crocodile has plans to capture her as leverage soon."

"No one's getting captured… Also, you sure look even nicer than the last time I saw you!"

Whoosh-

I gave one last look towards Nico Robin before deciding to fly in the direction of the Going Merry.

When I got to a decent enough distance away from Robin, a grim expression had replaced her smile.

She knew exactly what dangers were awaiting the people in that ship…

**

In the middle of the Going Merry's deck, a group of pirates and Vivi were having an intense conversation on their plans.

When I saw the straw-hat wearing man with his sleeveless red vest, I couldn't be surer of where I was.

Thud- I landed at the top of the Going Merry, surprising everyone present on the ship.

"Wha!"

"Another enemy?!"

Everyone's eyes widened at my entrance. Zoro gripped on to his sword, while Sanji and Usopp readied themselves with sweat rolling down their faces.

Step-Step

Right then, Luffy stepped up and stared at me with a blank face. "Who're you? And why're you on my ship?"

I was about to reply when…

"You… You're Magnus! My royal guard!"

Vivi pointed towards me with her eyes blinking. I just waved back to her with a wide grin on my face.

"Oh, he's your guard…" Nami breathed a huge sigh of relief. She was just happy I'm not another dangerous enemy like Nico Robin from before.

Luffy scratched his face in confusion and added, "So, he's good guy. Right?"

Vivi narrowed her eyes at me and began to examine me carefully. "I heard you used to be part of Baroque Works and a partner to Miss Sunday from before."

"So, he's a bad guy!" Luffy suddenly bared his teeth at me.

"However, I was informed at Baroque Works recently about how you were a huge enemy to their cause…"

A broad smile formed on Luffy's face once again as he said, "So, he's a good guy fo-"

Tunk…!

Suddenly, Nami bashed Luffy's head and yelled, "Can you let Vivi finish?!"

"Owww!"

Luffy began to rub his head in agony.

I couldn't help but chuckle loudly and wonder how the rubber man could have possibly gotten hurt through Nami's punch.

At any rate, I had to inform them about my intentions here.

"You're completely right, Miss Vivi. I was sort of a spy helping the king to stop Baroque Works… Now, I'm not sure what exactly your plans are. But if you need any assistance from me, just ask."

With my jaw thrusted forward, I awaited Vivi's response.

Vivi contemplated some things for a few long moments, before she nodded and answered, "Everyone, I wish you would allow Magnus to accompany me to the rebel base… I believe he is trustworthy and has useful skills!"

"Of course!"

"I will do whatever you say, Miss Wednesday~"

Both Luffy and Sanji agreed to Vivi's words without much thinking whatsoever.

Usopp, on the other hand, pursed his lips in wariness and asked, "Even if I believe he's trustworthy, how can he help us?"

"Duh! If he's a guard, shouldn't he be at least be stro-"

"Mhm, I guess I can somewhat be an entertainer…" My chin elevated in pride.

"What?!"

"Woohoo! Entertain us!"

Hearing me, everyone squinted their eyes at me in confusion. While Luffy began to jump around in anticipation.

Soon I grabbed a few miscellaneous objects from my bag and -Zoom- began to levitate them in a circle.

"Woah!"

Luffy and Usopp began to clap cheerily at my performance, encouraging me to do a few more tricks like levitating Luffy.

"Look! You're flying, Luffy! Please make me fly too!"

"Wohooo! I can fly!"

At least two people appreciated the hard work I was putting on it seemed…

Apart from them though, the rest of the crew gazed at me with their eyebrows lowered in cautiousness.

They were trying to guess my Devil-Fruit, since having one automatically made me someone to be watched out for.

Just like this, my journey with the Straw-Hats began.

Even though I was sure Vivi would be safe with these people, accompanying her for now won't really hurt. Especially since I couldn't do anything but wait for Crocodile to leave the fortified Rainbase, since attacking him there with my current status as the Royal Guard could initiate a war.
