A maid enters my room in Carine's perspective. She has brown hair with brown eyes to match. In an instant, I know she's my personal maid named Leila.

She stood near my bed elegantly and spoke in a gentle manner.

"I will be standing here to help you my lady, so feel free to ask anything." She said in a respectful tone

"Uhm... Sure."

Both of my bodies said that, but thankfully Feyt is alone at the moment, so no one heard it. It would be awkward to talk like this, I would be speaking to someone on one body, while the other body will say nonsense without context. I need to learn how to control my bodies separately, that's my goal, for now at least. Other than that, I want to learn about this world I reincarnated in. Does it have monsters? Maybe even elves? Either way, I want to know. I recall in Carine's memories that there's a library in her mansion.

"I want to read something, can I go to the library?"

Both Feyt and Carine said that, but it was meant only for Carine. I seriously need to learn how to control myselves.

"Forgive me my lady, your mother said to not let you out of bed due to fear of illness. Shall I grab the books for you instead?"

"Uh... Yeah! That would work."

"What book would you like my lady? Would you like 'Prince Alreid's Adventure' or perhaps 'Periplus of the Green Sea'?"

I remembered Carine reading those books before, and I can also distinctively remember Leila reading those books for me for bedtime stories.

"If you wish, I could also grab a few of my recommendations"

"Uh... no, I want something about this world."

"About this... world?"

Leila tilted her head confusingly.

"Yes, like... umm... about magic and stuff!"

I recall within Carine's memory that magic does exist in this world, but I don't have much detail about it.

"I see, then excuse me for a moment my lady, I will grab a book most suited for that role."

Leila gave me a bow and left the room.

A few minutes later, she came back with a large stack of books in one of her hands.

How can she balance that?! That's around 10 heavy books stacked on top of one another!

She dropped the tall stack of books to the drawer right beside me, she then split the book stack in half and put them side by side, probably in fear of it falling over.

"Here you go, my lady, I originally planned to only grab one book, but I figured that my lady wouldn't be satisfied with that, so I grabbed a few more."

You call this a 'few'?!

I pushed the thoughts aside and thanked Leila.

"Thank you, I'll read it now."

The maid stepped to the side, I picked up the top most book of the left stack, the book title said 'About Magic', what a creative title. I opened the book and started reading.

Wait, I don't know this language, yet how can I read it? Could it be because that this body knows how to read it? And apparently I can also hear and speak the language, since I talked to Leila and my parents with no trouble. Either way, I skimmed through the book and finished reading it after about 5 minutes.

Yep, that's right, 5 Minutes.

That's around 300 seconds, by the way.

HOW?! That was around 300 pages! (336 to be exact!!) I read a full page in barely a second and somehow managed to retain all the information I read! This body, how much of a readaholic is it?! I grabbed the next book, trying to forget about my overwhelming reading speed. The title said "Advanced Magic". Seriously, how creative can these titles get? Must be a book for kids.

Lady Carine is reading the books I brought her. I was surprised when she rejected the adventure books, she used to read them all the time, and now she wants to learn about magic? I know that my lady wants to learn her father's sword style, and being able to use magic while using that style would definitely be helpful. But my lady can't use magic, as far as I'm permitted to know at least. She asked for books about it, that would be hard since humans who can use magic are few and far in between, thus books about magic are scarce.

At first I thought that a book containing the general information about magic is enough, even scholars have a hard time reading it. But this is Lady Carine, not a scholar, as her personal maid I would know. She wouldn't be satisfied with only one book, even if it's a hard one to read, so I brought all the books about magic and talents I could find in the library.

And as I expected, she finished the book that took scholars a month to understand in only a few minutes. She immediately grabbed the next book in the pile, "Advanced Magic". As always, my lady exceeds all expectations.

"Dear, Feyt is acting weird..." said Teffa.

"Yeah, he's been pretending to read books for about 10 minutes now. Must've hit his head hard..." said Fayn.

Unbeknownst to Feyt, whose body is mimicking Carine's. His worried parents are watching by the door.
