Reincarnated Into Two Bodies

Both of my bodies woke up at around the same time.

"Huh? Where am I?" I looked around the room I was in.

"Oh right, I was reincarnated."

It looks like yesterday wasn't a dream.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot! Let's try controlling both of my bodies separately.

We get out of both of our bed by the left side and I try to focus my mind on only Feyt, I loosen my focus from Carine while doing this.

I raised my left arm as Feyt.

Carine remains still.

"IT WORKED!" Both of my bodies shouted while fist pumping the air.

"What is it, my lady?"

Oh, Leila's there, I didn't notice. And we can't control our speech just yet, but now that I know I can control my bodies separately, I can just practice it more to get control.

 

 

"Feyt! Breakfast is ready!" Mom screamed from behind the door

"My lady, the breakfast at the dining room has been prepared." Said Leila

 

I need to go to the dining room to have breakfast, this might serve as training. I focused my mind on Feyt and walked towards the door a couple of steps, I then focused my mind on Carine and did the same. We opened the door at the same time and we started walking forwards, so far so good.

We halted our walk. Since Feyt's room is right in front of the dining room, Feyt was already in front of the table just from having a straight walk. I loosened my focus on Carine and sat on the chair in front of me as Feyt.

In front of Feyt were wooden utensils, a bread, a small chop of roasted meat, a bowl of brown and dense looking soup which I assume is gravy, and a glass of water. If I remember correctly, Feyt's house rarely eat meat since as commoners, buying one isn't cheap.

"I hunted a deer for you, it was a big one too. Who knows? We might hunt them together someday!" Said my dad, Fayn, while looking proud of his hunt.

I nodded instead of answering, in fear that Carine might say it too.

Oh right, Carine. I switched my focus back to Carine. Leila showed concern.

"My lady, What's wrong? Are you still dizzy? Shall I carry you on my back?"

I waved my hand signaling a rejection while showing a smile, and started walking again.

"My Lady is acting weird again..."

Leila followed me soon after.

After a short walk down the stairs, I reached the bottom floor. To my right is a giant white door covered in gold decoration. Leila walked ahead and opened the door for me as I walked in. I see father and mother sitting on opposite sides of the table waiting for me to arrive, as well as a couple of maids and butlers standing behind them. There's an empty chair in front of me, Leila pulled the chair for me as I sat on it.

In front of Carine is a tray of silverware, a bowl of salad, a bowl of tomato soup, and a cup of warm tea. I recall that Carine had this exact breakfast for a couple of months now. In front of me are father and mother, they also have salad and tomato soup, but they have what I assume is wine instead of tea. What a healthy breakfast.

 

 

Last time I ate something, I got weird looks from my weird behavior due to my bodies copying each other. But now, I can eat while looking normal! I switched focus anytime I took a bite of food, and so far so good! I didn't get any weird looks at least.

Speaking of looks, I realized I never found myself weirded out by the appearance of the people here, mainly their clothes. If I saw them wearing that in modern Earth, I would assume they were cosplayer or theater actors. Was it because my bodies that I feel natural seeing them?

Carine's parents wore luxurious looking clothes, father is tall and seems muscular with slicked back black hair that's greyed out at the side, he has intimidating black eyes and wears what I assume is a noble's suit with a dark blue color palette. My mother is around the same height as my father, she has a braided brown hair with a yellow flower hair pin, her eyes are emerald green and she wears a dress with intricate design, also with a dark blue color palette.

Leila is apparently my personal maid that was assigned to her by mother herself, she has a shoulder length brown hair with black eyes, her maid dress she wears looks modest and there is a small dark blue flower emblem on the chest part. I then realized that the cute looking one piece dress I was wearing as Carine also has a dark blue color palette. I've been wearing this since I reincarnated last noon didn't I? I also realized I haven't washed myself since coming to this world...

As for Feyt's parents, my dad is shorter than father, but way more muscular, he has short black hair with blue eyes, he wears a plain gray shirt. My mom is a bit shorter than dad, she has long blonde hair and black eyes and wears a plain gray dress with a brown leather apron on over it. Right now, I'm also wearing a plain looking shirt as Feyt. Fashion is the last thing on a commoner's mind when living on a tight budget apparently.

The hair colors in this world aren't that crazy it seems. I haven't seen anyone with blue or green hair anywhere, even the servants lined up at the dining room were mostly black, brown or blonde haired. Some of the old maids/butlers have greyed out hair, but that's it.

 

After I finished both my breakfasts, I wanted to take a bath. Since both Feyt and Carine haven't taken any, I believe it would be safe to ask the question at the same time to my parents.

"I want to take a bath, can I?"

"Sure, why not? The public bath is open." said dad.

"That's strange Carine, you usually hate baths, we have to force you into it almost every time, why the change?" said father

Dammit, I was asked a question. How do I answer that without looking weird as Feyt?

I haven't learned how to speak separately yet, but maybe if I focus hard enough...

I focused hard on Carine and try my hardest to prevent Feyt from moving his mouth.

"I just wanted to father, may I go now?" Carine said normally.
"....-go now?" Feyt mumbled.

"Well, if that's true that's great Carine~ Go ahead! Leila will accompany you." said mother happily.

"Yes, you can go now, why the mumbling?" said mom confused.

"Ah, nothing mom, excuse me." Feyt said normally.
"...-excuse me." Carine mumbled.

Dad stood up from his chair.

"I want to take a bath too, I'll go with you."

Leila stood by my side.

"Then allow me to escort you my lady."

It worked! Sure, the other body still mumbles a bit, but now I can have a normal conversation without looking too weird! Way to go, me!

 

 

Lady Carine wants to take a bath, that's rare, I usually have to carry her into our bath under the orders of her parents. She usually prefers sponge baths. Maybe she's starting to learn about noble etiquette from books?

"...-excuse me." her voice sounded small, it might as well be a mumble.

"Then allow me to escort you my lady."

We left the dining room together.

On our walk to the bath, Lady Carine seems to stop at random intervals. She did the same while I was walking her to the dining room, I asked her about it before, but she gestured that it was nothing.

I decided to ask again just to be sure

"What's wrong my lady?"

"Huh? Oh, uhh... I'm enjoying the... scenery?" she responded.

That would make sense, the garden outside of the window is beautiful after all. Whenever I would take a break, I would just spend it in the garden drinking tea.

"I see, forgive me for bothering you."

I must have been annoying her by asking the same question twice.

"I-it's nothing!"

Lady Carine said that while flustered.

A flustered Lady Carine is cute.

 

We have reached the bath, I took off my clothes and then Lady Carine's.

She looks me with determination and excitement in her eyes, but then it faded and she stared confusingly.

Lady Carine has been acting quite strange since morning, should I report this to Lord Kyrat and Lady Peyna?

I pushed that thought aside to deal with it later.

Me and Lady Carine entered the hot bath together.

Lady Carine is looking down at her chest, looking like she's curious about it. She then looks at my chest and then looks confused.

Is she worrying about her chest size? She's still young, no doubt that it will grow for her someday. Maybe she has fear that it may not? That is a fitting worry for a child like her to have.

"Don't worry my lady, it will grow when you're older."

I decided to calm down her worries.

"HUH?!"

It seems she was surprised I caught what she was thinking.

Flustered, her cheeks became red.

My lady is cute when she's flustered.

 

 

"I want to take a bath too, I'll go with you."

It's dangerous for him to go alone after all. Besides, we rarely ever have any bonding moment besides working at the farm, might as well, right?

"I'll go grab the towels, you go get ready."

Feyt nodded.

 

During our walk to the bath, Feyt kept stopping at random points, sometimes he just stand there, and sometimes he looks around him. Is he still dizzy?

When we were close to the bath, he stopped again.

"...scenery?"

He mumbled something, I don't know what he was trying to say, but I am growing worried on how strange he's been acting.

"What's wrong? You kept stopping around, still dizzy?"

"I-it's nothing!" He said flustered

Yeah, he's probably still dizzy. Maybe after the bath I should have Teffa check on him.

 

After we entered the building, I paid the fee to the clerk. We entered the changing room, we took off our clothes, and washed ourselves for a bit before entering the bath and then we wrapped towels on our body.

We entered the hot bath, it was relaxing. I haven't entered a bath since last month, maybe taking a break from farming and hunting once in a while is good for the mind. I looked at Feyt, he's sitting still while having his eyes closed. He's enjoying the warmth I think? Mature for his age huh.

Nothing much happened after the bath, we just went home. Feyt continues to stop at random points during the walk.

At home Teffa checked on Feyt after I told her what happened on the way to the baths. She said that nothing seems wrong.

Then why was he acting weird then? Well, I hope it's nothing serious.

 

 

I walked to the baths, both as Feyt and Carine.

As I walked outside as Feyt, I realized that this is the first time I stepped outside since I reincarnated to this world. I looked around the village, there are kids playing around, parents watching them play, some are washing clothes near the well, it feels calming for some reason. The road to the baths involves a lot of turns, so I constantly switch focus between Feyt and Carine to take the turn and only walk at the same time whenever the road is straight.

While I was focused on Feyt, I heard Leila asking a question to Carine.

"What's wrong my lady?"

"Huh?!"

I was surprised by the question. I quickly switched my focus to Carine to answer her.

"Oh, uhh... I'm enjoying the... scenery?"

I thought up some random excuse.

"I see, forgive me for bothering you."

Then, dad asked Feyt a question.

"What's wrong? You kept stopping, still dizzy?"

"I-it's nothing!"
"I-it's nothing!"

Both of my bodies grew flustered.

 

Dad and I reached the baths, he paid some fees and then we went to wash ourselves. Then we sit inside the hot bath and relax.

Also at the same time, Leila and I reached the bath room in the mansion. Leila started to take off her clothes...

Wait! Is she entering with me?! I'm a guy you know! You shouldn't get naked in front of me! Wait, I'm a girl now... But still! A woman is stripping her clothes off in front of me, and my curiosity is stopping me from looking away!

A few seconds passed, Leila's naked now and she's currently taking off my clothes. I looked at her and... nothing. I felt absolutely nothing, no excitement, lust, nor happiness.

I focused my sights on Leila's boobs... still nothing, I'm really confused. The old me would probably grow all red by now at the least.

Maybe it's because I'm a girl now... Right, of course, it's because I'm a girl now...

I looked down, and yeah, my "friend" is not there. Even though I still have one on Feyt, it's still weird not seeing it down there.

"Don't worry my lady, it will grow when you're older."

It will grow huh... what a weird world...

...

"HUH?!"

Carine will grow a "Friend" when she's older?! What does that mean?!!
