Number one, learning how to increase the pace at which the horse was moving. Yes, he had caused the horse to move, but it was moving at a slow pace...and a lot more.

..As said, he wouldn't learn everything in one day.

Aiden was on top of the horse, and it was still moving. He had fully balanced on it, he wasn't shaking at all. One thing had been learned, how to balance on a horse when it's in motion.

And again, he was the one that put the horse in motion, so we can say he's learned two things. Ethan was still glancing at him, and after the passing of some seconds, his voice resounded,

"Now, you've learned how to balance on a horse while it's in motion, hope you'd be able to do the same when the horse is moving at a fast pace. But it's a gradual process though,

Now, why don't you try increasing the horse's pace? It's moving at a slow pace now, try increasing its pace. Remember what I told you while relaying information to you, try to implement it".

Aiden breathed in and out, he was about to do something hard, increasing the horse's pace. Now, he might not even succeed in doing it, he just wanted to try.

..He tried, but it didn't work out, he was not able to increase the horse's pace.

Yes, he was still balanced on the horse, nothing like falling off it...but he couldn't increase the horse's pace though he tried, it kept moving at a slow pace.

Guess he wouldn't be able to accomplish that today, maybe next time after he's received some more teachings from his dad.

"Well, you wouldn't be able to learn everything today. Since you can't do that, then try changing the horse's direction when it's moving forward...like, cause it to move to either the left-hand or the right-hand side while it's in motion".

..Another hard stuff, yeah, none of this was easy.

The horse was in motion currently, and it was moving at a slow pace as usual. Aiden's hands were on the rope as it was moving, if his hands weren't there, then he would have fallen off the horse a long time ago.

What was the aim? To control the horse to move to the left-hand side. And to do this, he'd have to make use of the rope...as Ethan said, the rope could be used to do a lot of things.

He'd have to implement what his dad taught him. He breathed in and out once again, then he implemented it...and was he able to get the horse to move to the left-hand side? Yes.

It neighed while changing direction, and now, it had moved to the left-hand side while still in motion...Aiden did it. A smile appeared on his face at that moment, and Ethan's voice resounded,

"That's nice, now, try causing it to move to the right-hand side, change its direction".

..Since Aiden was able to get it to move to the left-hand side, then this shouldn't be hard, right?

But something happened, he couldn't seem to achieve it. He got it to move to the left-hand side, but causing it to move to the right-hand side seemed impossible...what was happening?

He kept trying, but it doesn't seem to be working out, he couldn't just achieve it. He was really surprised, like, how could this happen? If he could move it to the left-hand side, then why couldn't he achieve this?

He was holding the rope with both hands and trying to control it to move to the right-hand side, but it wasn't just working out...so he gave up. But one thing was for sure, he was disappointed.

It just seemed like he was able to control it to move to the left-hand side due to luck...

"You did your best though, as said, you wouldn't learn everything in one day. At least, you achieved a part of it". Ethan's voice resounded.

"But there's something I just don't seem to understand. As you said, I achieved a part of it, I was able to cause it to move to the left-hand side, but why can't I move it to the right-hand side?

It's making me confused. Is it that the horse is not obeying me or I'm not doing it well?". Aiden voiced out.

"It's most likely the latter, you might not believe it, but that's the truth. You're not doing it well, that's most likely the case. There are times when horses wouldn't follow your control due to certain reasons. But I don't see a reason for the horse not to follow your control now,

There aren't any dangers or something like that, you're most likely not doing it well, I can tell. But don't let that bother you, it's normal. With continuous practice, a time would come when you'd be riding horses like an expert".

Aiden nodded his head, what else can he do? Then Ethan's voice resounded again,

"Why don't you see if you can control the horse to turn around while moving forward".

The horse wasn't in motion currently, so Aiden put it in motion as it was moving forward. Then he thought to himself,

'I must try to achieve this, I can't fail in two things like his teachings were complete waste?'.

..He was holding the rope currently, and he did what needed to be done for the horse to turn around.

And it worked, yes, it worked. Aiden could have done better 'cause the way the horse turned around wasn't that nice...he wasn't close to how Ethan would have caused it to turn around.

..But the thing was, he caused it to turn around, that's what matters.

The horse neighed as it was turning around. It raised its two front legs while swiveling. And now, it had turned around completely as it was moving forward.

A smile appeared on Ethan's face seeing this, and Aiden's voice resounded with an elated expression on his face,

"I did it...I did it".

"Yes, you did". Ethan said with that smile still plastered to his face.

"I wonder how I was able to achieve this without being able to achieve the first one. You know, causing the horse to move to the right-hand side". Aiden stated again.

"I guess, right implementation for this, and wrong implementation for that one. But you were able to get this right, so I feel it wouldn't take long before you'd learn to do the other right as well. At least, you're making progress on your first day, it's just nice".

..A smile appeared on Aiden's face the moment Ethan made that utterance, then it widened.

Aiden kept practicing and practicing, it was such a fun experience. Yes, he hadn't learned everything, but he's learned a lot. It got to a time when they needed to eat since it was noon already.

Food had already been bought, and all the workers and supervisors were gonna be eating as one family...Ethan included...

Yes, that's how it's always been done, they do eat lunch as one family. Ethan would be eating with them like he wasn't their boss, he was humble. And they do eat the same thing most of the time.

..Aiden would be eating lunch with them today, he'd be joining them today.

They were eating and chatting at the same time. Some customers were on the field, so some workers needed to attend to them...too bad. They'd be eating their food later.

As said, as they ate, they conversed. They talked about Aiden learning how to ride a horse. They've been busy, but they were noticing how he's been practicing and all that. They talked about that for a while, then they moved to other topics.

..You know, Aiden really enjoyed it, how they gathered to eat like a family and how they chatted with each other.

He was like, 'So this is what my dad has been enjoying?'.

They finished eating, and everyone began engaging in activities again, the conversation ended. More customers came into the animal field, while Ethan and Aiden went back to practicing.

Aiden had really learned a lot when it comes to horse riding. But he still had a lot more to learn, they weren't done, when they see the chance, they'd do some little training again.

The training ended, and Aiden explored the animal field again. He conversed with many of the workers, and they found him interesting. It was a nice experience for Aiden, you know, getting to visit his dad's animal field and learning how to ride a horse to an extent.

..He'd love to come here again, that's for sure.

He doesn't know when it would happen, but he'd love to come here again...

It was nighttime already, and it was about time for everyone to begin heading home, they weren't engaging in activities anymore, there weren't any more customers on the animal field...but lots of money was made today.

Workers and supervisors were leaving the animal field one after the other. Ethan and Aiden mounted the horse they brought along, the horse they used in training...and Ethan rode it out of the animal field.
