1st half of the 1st Inning:

Kojima went to mound. Rest of teammates started to warm up slightly on their respective positions. Kojima threw some practice pitches to warm up his shoulder.

Kojima: OK, form is good, I can feel ball on my fingertips till release. The ball is moving more than usual and has more power and speed. I am going to use my full strength today.

He started to dig some dirt to to step on mound plate.

Quest alert: Win the game and get a ticket to Koshien.

Kojima looked with shock at quest.

He got ready to pitch and starting to wait for Carlos to step into the batter box.

Carlos stepped into the batter box after few practice swings and took on his stance.

Kojima started his pitching motion with a big wind up. He raised his left leg up to his shoulder adjusted his full weight on his right pivot leg and clenched his left glove as much as he can. He was brimming with confidence and slammed his left leg on the mound, twisted his h.i.p.s and fired a bullet towards home plate shocking everyone.

umpire declared.

Crowd burst out with cheering and questions:

"What is with this speed"

"Was his fastball this fast"

" That's what I came here to see"

Kojima couldn't control his pitch and pitched four ball consecutively.

Shirakawa stepped in the batter box. Carlos started to take a big lead to disrupt kojima.

Miyuki gave kojima signal to try pick off.

Kojima turned and throw the ball towards 1st base at lightning speed. Carlos sensed danger and dive towards the 1st base, Yuuki caught the ball and tagged Carlos with his glove and turned towards umpire to hear his decision.

"Out" first base umpire declared.

Kojima: With me here you can not even pass half distance between 1st and 2nd base.

Crowd burst out with cheering and praise.

Kojima started to focus towards batter. he started to control the pitched and pitched 1 ball and 2 strikes. on 4th pitch Shirakawa hit a grounder to Kuramochi.

Yoshizawa Stepped in the batter box. Kojima struck out with only 3 pitches. Yoshizawa couldn't even touch the ball.

2nd half of the 1st Inning:

Narumiya stepped on the mound. Kuramochi stepped in and showed bunt stance in the left batter box. He disrupted the batter and fought for walk to the base.

Ryousuke stepped in batter box and took a bunt stance. As Narumiya started to throw his pitch Kuramochi took off to 2nd base for steal. Harada hurled the ball to the 2nd base but Kuramochi skillfully used the base to avoid the tag. Ryousuke bunted with only one hand. Kuramochi sprinted towards 3rd base. Narumiya thew ball to the 1st base, 1st baseman got ready to throw ball to 3rd base after catching the ball but stopped as Kuramochi almost reached 3rd base.

Isashiki went to right handed batter box. Narumiya hurled a slider at his c.h.e.s.t. Isashiki swing his bat and sent the ball to out field. Kuramochi made to home and Isashiki made to 1st base.

Watching Yuuki stepping into batter box Out fielders Positioned themselves slightly back towards fence. Narumiya Struck out Yuuki with his Change up like screw ball.

Kojima stepped in batter box. Narumiya pitched slider to this c.h.e.s.t and Kojima swung his bat, ball connect slightly side to the core of bat and sent the ball to the outfield near the fence but was caught by Carlos.

1st Half of the 2nd Inning:

Harada stopped before entering batter box and do some practice swings. Narumiya went into deck circle. Harada stepped in right hand side batter box. Kojima throw 2 Balls, Harada didn't swung his bat. Kojima pitched two strikes consecutively, then a ball to outside. Kojima threw slower 2 seamer, Harada swung his bat, as ball reached near plate it broke towards his c.h.e.s.t and directly entered Miyuki's mit.

Kojima struck out Narumiya and Yamaoka by swing and miss in total of 6 Pitches.

"Oh, Is that guy for real"

"He struck out 4 batters consecutively"

2nd half of the 2nd Inning:

Narumiya struck out Masuko with 4 pitches. Miyuki hit grounder to the 2nd base and shirasu popped out to 1st base.

This stalemate continued till 2nd half of the 8th inning.

Yuuki stepped into the batter box. It was 1 out with no runners on base. Yuuki hit Narumiya's slider and sent the ball to out field and successfully reached 2nd base.

Kojima stepped in the batter box after few practice swings. He adjust his stance and tighten his hand grip on his bat. He took his first pitch as called strike, it was nasty slider. Narumiya throw a ball on outside of strike zone. Narumiya pitched fastball as his third pitch on the upper left corner of the strike zone. When the ball came near plate Kojima suddenly swung his bat with great force, ball hit the sweet spot of the bat and sent directly over the fence. He tossed his bat to the side and started to jog around the bases. He did high five with captain Yuuki and went to dug out. Players patted both Kojima and Yuuki on the back of their head and backs. but after them Seidou couldn't continue their batting. Masuko and Miyuki Hit grounder in the infield.

On the top of the 9th Inning Kojima went to the mound:

Crowd was cheering and singing Seidou's name.

Yoshizawa stepped in the batter box. Kojima struck out him by throwing two fastballs with a Improved change up that sink down towards the plate.

Harada stepped in the batter box. He fouled the first pitch that was barely in strike zone. Kojima threw 2 balls outside the strike zone. Harada fouled another fastball which was with in strike zone. Miyuki sent another signal to kojima but he shook his head. Miyuki show another signal and Kojima nodded.

Kojima pitched his 5th ball, It traveled at lower speed than fastball, Harada became cautious. When ball reached near plate in strike zone, Harada swung his bat but ball broke sharply toward his c.h.e.s.t. Harada tried to make a contact with the ball but the break was very sharp and went directly to the Miyuki's mit.

"Strike 3 batter out" umpire declared in a loud voice.

Crowd:

"How many did he struck out?"

"I think that was his 14th"

"Is this guy for real"

"One more out"

"One more out"

Kojima started his pitching motion. He throw cutter to the Narumiya's c.h.e.s.t. Narumiya swung his bat but popped above his head. Miyuki took off his mask and stood directly under the ball.

"OUT GAME SET" umpire declared.

Seidou's player ran towards the mound and surrounded Kojima and celebrating their win. 3rd years were crying crowd was shouting and celebrating.
