"Is he going to be okay?" Alex asked. Even though he didn't felt any fatherly love from James, he was still concerned.

"I don't know, but I will try my best. You should be weak from the coma so go back and rest." Laura replied.

"Yes, I also think you should rest! Let us take care of your father." Evelyn assured him.

Alex didn't say anything. He just started at his father's body for a minute like he was making a decision.

Alex walked towards Laura, "Laura move aside for a second and let me handle this! And said.

"Alex! This is not a child's play. Your father's life is on the line. If you still try to disturb me then don't blame me for getting ruthless." Laura replied with a stern face. Even though she had a good impression on Alex, she wouldn't allow anyone to stop her from healing him.

Laura from her childhood days was a cold and straight forward character, and because of that, she had only a few friends and offended many people without thinking about consequences. So she was mostly lonely and anti-social her entire life. To her James was everything, so she would hurt anyone trying to harm him.

Alex didn't have any thoughts of backing off. Most of them looked at him with scorn and expectations to see him getting trashed out, except Charles and some of his siblings.

Laura's eyes flashed with killing intent. She was now angry for real, first Dylan and now Alex got in her way to treat her husband.

She even forgot he was weak since he just woke from his comatose state. She sent a punch towards his stomach enough to send him flying out off the room. The blow was powerful than Dylan got swatted away, but she wasn't expecting the shock of her life.

While everyone thought Alex would get trashed away just like Dylan. He stopped the punch only with his thumb and two fingers. The Shockwave from the blow sent the nearest person a step back.

Everyone was dumbfounded.

Everything had happened all too quickly. It was so quick that not one person had even reacted. Even James had his eyes wide open from the shock. He forgot that he was injured severely and was in a critical state.

The most shocked one was Laura; she knew the power behind her punch. Even though it wasn't strong enough to critically injure him, he shouldn't be able to stop it like a child's play.

The secret behind her punch wasn't power but speed, and it should be able to confuse the powerful top experts in the kingdom including James. But only she noticed that Alex didn't even bat an eye in front of her punch.

Alex pulled her to the side quickly and sat near James as he started to examine the wounds on his body.

The wounds were wide enough to fit his fists inside. Alex closed his eyes and started concentrating. Soon his body began glowing in green color. The Qi from Alex's hands moved towards the wounds on his c.h.e.s.t and started healing.

Sizzling sounds came from the wounds and slowly new cells formed under the dead cells closing the gap.

For Alex, it took more than half an hour to close a single wound. Soon he finished healing every single gap on his father's body.

"Done!" Alex wiped off the sweat and looked towards the others. Everyone stood there without moving a single inch from their spot. The thing that happened before their eyes was the legendary Bloodline user which they heard from stories.

They never in their dreams ever thought of Alex awakening his Bloodline and became a legendary Bloodline user. Even Laura was astonished; she never thought Alex would awaken his bloodline without any help or assistance from the Mighty families or Academies of the higher kingdoms.

James had already passed out from the pain when Alex started his healing process. Charles was the first to wake up from the surprise and asked everyone to leave since his father was alright now.

Charles gave an in-depth look at his father and turned towards Alex and talked a few words and left.

After Charles, only four of them were inside the room. Laura looked at him and apologized for her rude behavior and thanked.

"Why are you thanking me for? He's my father you know!" Alex replied with a smile.

"I know he didn't have much bonds with his children just like you, but still as his wife, I still had to thank you!" Laura replied while Evelyn smiled in relief.

Laura and Evelyn wanted to ask about his strange illness and his new powers but chose not to. They thought it would be proper if his father asked it as they weren't in a rush to know his secrets.

Alex suddenly felt a massive pain in his stomach from hunger. He quickly jumped towards his bed and gobbled up the fruits like a madman.

But even after finishing the fruits it didn't satiate his hunger. Looking at his expression Evelyn started laughing.

She took his hands and brought him towards the kitchen. She knew he should be hungry from all these days of without even tasting a drop of water.

Laura didn't follow them. She stayed by her husband's side in case anything happens to him.

Evelyn took a couple of loaves of bread from the shelf and placed it in front of him. Alex didn't have the time to be picky as he started munching huge pieces of bread.

While he was busy eating bread, Evelyn started preparing meat dishes as it would provide the nutrients he was missing. She took high-quality meat and started cooking them at high speed.

Soon a variety of dishes were placed in front of him. Looking at the dishes, tears threatened to fell from his eyes as it was more than a month he saw food like this. He used his hands to wipe off the tears and gobbled up the delicious food in a matter of minutes.

Evelyn watched him eating with love like a doting mother. She occasionally wiped his mouth and pushed meat on his plate. Only after feeling satisfied, Alex and Evelyn came out of the kitchen.

Alex let a loud burp and thanked Evelyn for preparing delicious food. Evelyn smiled and asked him not to thank her since he was a family to her now. Alex acknowledged and went towards the backyard of the mansion and looked for a peaceful place to rest for the day.

He soon found a perfect spot and walked towards it, but found out it was occupied by someone else. Rose slept on the grass and looked indifferently at Alex who was invading her resting place.
