"Is this kid giving up?" the man thought. He wouldn't be so surprise if in fact the kid wanted after suffering the previous mob cursing rampage.

After a breath of time Leise stood in front of the man. The man looked at the kid and said.

"So what gonna be kid? Do you choose the 1st road our the 2nd road?"

Leise looked up to see the expression of the man and said steadily:

"Neither"

"What!!" the face of the man turned red as it seemed that he would vomit blood. But he couldn't help but feel a tinge of curiosity for the answer of the kid.

"Kid if you want to play go play with your friends, your parents, your pets and even with your 3rd leg but you don't play with me. Hurry up and choose one of the roads, me your father doesn't have much time to spent!!"

"My answer continues the same: NEITHER."

"Boy you passed this challenge. You can now step through this door and go to the 1st phase of the Hunter exam." the man pointed at the door behind him.

Leise made a confused face but soon it was replaced by one of enlightenment.

"Ok I already know it. This challenge purpose was not only to eliminate those that are not confident in themselves but to discover those with a firm minds to face all challenges without trembling. So the 1st road was to eliminate the coward ones and the door behind the great sir was to indicate the right way to those of firm character. But one thing I don't understand is if the door behind you is to guide those of firm character so what is the 2nd road for?" Leise looked at the man with curiosity.

"Both the door behind me and the 2nd road lead to the 1st phase of the Hunter exam but the 2nd is longer and more dangerous that the door behind me."

"Ok thank you old man. So I will get going now, goodbye old man." Leise said to the man and entered the other side of the door.

The man continue to smile but that smile was soon filled with sorrow and wariness.

"I hope that kid survives and doesn't mess up with that man if not he would not die a pleasant death."
