Space seemed to stretch infinitely because Leise felt like he ruined the same as a super marathon. As he looked back, the shadows were still on his line of sight but they were a bit far from him giving him time to prepare for the next encounter.

"If he thinks that those shadows are mere mindless warriors, he won't get too far...." Azrael thought when seeing the sight of Leise wanting to employ guerrilla tactics.

Grabbing the sword with the blade pointing down, Leise waited for the arrival of the first shadow.

He also noticed that the shadows seemed to be a copy of him as they were wearing the same clothes and had the same weapons. Knowing that the shadows probably also knew how to do conjunct attacks, Leise calmed his mind waiting for their arrival.

The shadows were running towards Leise on a straight line running at a constant speed inching closer and closer to Leise's position. When the first shadow approached, Leise stood calmly on his spot.
