Xu Long was a pretty much capable person. Despite having reincarnated in a different world and has a new family, she still adjusted thanks to the memory of the late 'Xu Long'. They were giving her a sense of familiarity as if she was the real Xu Long.

Han Feimo went up to Xu Long and c.a.r.e.s.sed her hair. "You should just take a break at home. There will be no one who will try to defame you in there because we will always protect you."

Xu Long was still awkward on their relationship, nodded and left them. She then went to her own room and sat in the mat, she put the Hell Blaze Dragon Sword on her l.a.p as she started to cultivate. According to the memories of the late 'Xu Long', In the Qi gathering stage, the essence of cultivation is to gather qi around you.

She closed her eyes and tried to focus on sensing the qi. After half an hour has passed, there was numerous qi floating on her surroundings, she then tried gathering those qis on her Intermediate dantian.

A person has three dantian, The superior dantian, the intermediate dantian, and the lower dantian. The superior dantian is located in the head, specifically the brain of the person. The intermediate dantian is located in the c.h.e.s.t area, the heart of the person while the lower dantian is located in the abdomen.

There are nine levels in the qi gathering realm. The first 3 levels are gathered in the lower dantian while the next 3 levels are on the intermediate dantian and the last 3 levels were gathered on the superior dantian.

Xu Long before has a cultivation stage of the third level of qi gathering realm and it hadn't advanced since then. She didn't truly know why she hadn't advanced in cultivation. Is it really because of the lack of talent or are there other reason?

When Xu Long started gathering the qi on her Intermediate dantian, the heart. Her brows suddenly crunched up and spurted a mouthful of blood and she suddenly fell down on the floor, limping. Her breathing hastened as if catching her breath.

"Wh-What just happened?"

Xu Long didn't know how she ended up spurting blood while cultivating she just followed the instruction based on her memories. "Is the instruction wrong?" She lay on the ground feeling weak, blood continuously flowing.

After some time, Xu Long felt her strength back. She managed to sit on the floor again and closed her eyes. She started observing her body, however, as time passed, she was shocked at what she concluded from her observation.

Her Inner meridians were blocked! The channels were blocked that the qi energies can't flow freely. 'So that's why 'Xu Long' can't advance in her cultivation. It's because her meridians were blocked!'

However, why was it blocked? Is she cultivating a wrong manual or someone purposefully blocked her meridians? but there is no one coming to mind. Did she offend someone but didn't know and in his/her revenge blocked my meridians?

"If ever there is someone who wants to make trouble for me, then I'll give them trouble too! I am a man who repays debt with gratitude, however, if you messed with me, be prepared to leave all of your belongings behind."

The eyes of Xu Long held a decisiveness that was strange for a 15-year old girl. If any person saw the look of Xu Long right now, they would think that she had m.a.t.u.r.ed to a certain extent.

Xu Long once again closed her eyes and tried to cultivate. All the gathered qi went to the meridians but it was blocked so the qi was left there acc.u.mulating. Once the gathered qi bloated, the meridian will explode leaving the person injured, if worse, handicapped.

Xu Long was afraid that her meridian channel will explode. She sighed inwardly thinking that she won't be able to advance any further with her current constitution, she was depressed and can only leave it to fate.

At this moment, the Hell Blaze Dragon Sword twitched violently. As if sensing the perilous danger that its owner was in, It sent a wave of qi inside of Xu Long circulating her whole body. Xu Long felt sudden hotness in the air, she sweated a lot. Her body turned red like she was being grilled. All the perspiration evaporated as steam rose in the air.

"Arrrgghhh!"

Xu Long screamed in agony as if she was being burned alive, It felt like she was set on fire. Right now, all she could think of was to extinguished the fire inside her.

Suddenly, she sensed the qi flowed smoothly on her meridians. She was shocked and excited at the sight of it. Then, Xu Long saw that the thing blocking her meridian seemed to melt in the face of the wave of qi that was sent by the Hell Blaze Dragon Sword.

Seeing a golden opportunity right before her, Xu Long gathered the qi on her surroundings crazily like a mad man deprived of s.e.x for a hundred years. Smoke seems to come out of her nose as her breathing pace quickened.

After some time of cultivating, Xu Long managed to fill the space of the 3rd level. She can now choose whether to advance forward or stabilize her foundation so that in the next bottleneck, cultivating would become smooth.

"Haa~...."

Xu Long let out a long sigh of relief. She turned to look towards the Hell Blaze Dragon Sword. This time, without the help of the Dragon Sword, she would probably be stuck forever in the 3rd stage of qi gathering realm.

She was grateful towards the sword. If it was talking, it would possibly say "I saved you this time, you better not renege on your words!" and Xu Long swore to complete the will of its previous owner.

Xu Long then sprawled on the ground feeling exhausted. She rolled her body a few times then, in the corner of her eyes she caught sight of a glistening bottle. Curious as to what is inside, she grabs the bottle and opened it.

Waves of aroma spread through the room, Xu Long greedily inhaled the air. Her face flushed as if drunk. She then pulled out one bead looking object. It was white in color and exuded a fragrant smell. Her taste buds tingling as she salivates, It smells so sweet that Xu Long can't get enough of it.

She then put one inside her mouth and savored the taste. "Hmmm~" Xu Long felt like in heaven.

"Sweets are the best when you are exhausted!"

Then she put one of the candy again in her mouth, she then played with it as she sticks out her tongue and made a sound.

"Lero lero lero lero lero lero lero lero..."

Suddenly, a knock came and the door was slowly pushed open. "Long'er, this is the dish and soup I made. You should eat f---". Han Feimo who is at the door stopped on her tracks, she saw her daughter playing with the Ju Hui pills on her tongue and the bottle rolling on the ground, empty.

The tray she brought dropped on the floor making a loud sound startling Xu Long. Then, a scream broke out.

"AAAHHHHH!"

A piercing scream can be heard throughout the whole Xu Manor, All of the high ranking members with a cultivation stage of Bone Forging realm and some Body Purifying realm immediately rush out heading towards the sound.

They had a similar idea on their mind, 'It seems like the enemies can't wait to charge forward because their spies got exposed, they then sent an expert to fight us head on.' Some were sneering and disdainful towards their enemy as they thought in their mind. "Naive!"

At this moment, Xu Zhong Kui and Xu Shaoze were still at his room resting after the deadly incident that occurred earlier when they heard a loud piercing sound. The two looked at each other and instantly rushed out towards the voice.

All the cultivator in the Xu Manor arrived at the place at the same time, Xu Zhong Kui and Xu Shaoze took the lead and barged in the house where the scream came from.

"What happened!?"

Han Feimo holding Xu Long in her embrace looked at Xu Zhong Kui, tears pouring down like a river.
