R:VCP | Chapter 25: It's Starting

"So, what now?" Kisse asked. Amidst the girls' thoughtful looks.

Camilla was first to recover and stood up., "Well, we go to work and you stay here." Camilla looked at Kisse and emphasized. "And you drink your concocted medicine. All right?"

Kisse pouted and Kallore giggled. Then Camilla continued but this time she looked at Natalia., "Sis Natalia, please... Supervise." She end up saying it with a little bit of helplessness.

Natalia looked at her lil sis Camilla, squinted then smiled. "Okay! Don't worry lil sis~ I'll take good care of our baby sister." She assured. But this only made Camilla worry more.

Should I ask someone else to babysit?

She thought, but in the end she only ended up letting out a sigh.

"Sigh... Fine. Then me and Kallore will go ahead first— Bye guys."

Kallore also chirped., "Bye my beloved lil sisters!"

"Bye guys~" Natalia waved lazily to them. Kisse also said goodbye albeit, reluctantly., "Bye... Bring souvenirs back, okay?"

Kallore readily agreed., "Sure!"

Walking outside together. Camilla asked Kallore., "Do you think... Should we worry about them?"

Kallore peeked at Camilla's worried look then thought about her question. With a lazy shrug she answered., "Nah~ But rather than them... Shouldn't we worry more about Sis Selene instead?"

With a playfully yet helplessly smile Kallore asked. Camilla paused yet also ended up helplessly smiling. While walking she couldn't help but remember.

"Yeah... Sis Selene— Sis Selene was always...."

While smiling Kallore finished., "Troublesome?"

Camilla smiled., "That, and also..." She looked at Kallore with helplessness; Kallore immediately understood.

"Worrisome"

"Sigh... Yeah, I'm quite worried about Sis Selene too. She, she might be sometimes—" Kallore started.

"—Always." Camilla corrected.

With an amused yet helpless smile Kallore corrected her words and continued., " 'Always' cause trouble." Camilla nodded in agreement. "But... Sometimes, I kinda felt pity for her too." Kallore sighed.

Camilla went silent and also sigh., "Well... We actually did witness all her sacrifices for us, you know. So it naturally makes sense for us to feel like that."

Looking at the sky Kallore agreed., "Yeah I guess so..." With a sad smile she continued., "But to force herself to grow up early just to raise us and even sacrifice her whole childhood. Even her wishes and dreams just for us. As the second oldest of us siblings... It's kind of... upsetting."

"To not even have the ability to help her at that time... Sigh. This time... I just hope, I just hope... this time. This time will be different."

Camille also ended up looking at the sky and whispered., "Yeah. I hope so too..."

"Hmm... I wonder if that thing was still here... Or was it there?"

Suddenly she stopped walking and sighed.,

Suddenly she heard the sound of a falling water just far front of her. Selene smiled. She stepped forward walking slowly and slowly a pure clear spring was seen.

Selene smiled slightly. In front of her was a spring and surrounding her was dark green misty like forest. She stepped forward and touched the surface and submerged in it.

The water engulfed her. But they were no means hurting her but instead they were protecting her.

Why? Since this is where Selene was born.

While inside Selene can't see her surrounding. Inside she is just like sleeping and everything is silent.

In the past when Selene was born she was also just an infant that time. An infant with memories of the Moon.

'Let me have the power to protect them...

So they no longer need to be afraid.'

She said. And when Moon heard her wish everything dimmed. Then just then the moons light reflected her, who was inside the water. From an infant she became a lady.

She forced herself to grow up.

She forced herself to m.a.t.u.r.e.

She forced herself to understand everything in this 3000 world.

Then that they onward Selene became the Goddess of the Moon. Also on that same day Selene the new Moon Goddess ventured and went to many different locations and places.

From the Mune Mist Spring where she is, she then went to the Blooming Cliff, then Ember Garden, Sola Plains, and lastly in the Verdian Tree. And when she came back to her spring, she was no longer alone. With her was the four newborn little goddesses.

The Goddess of the Flower, Flame, Sunshine, and Plants. Her beloved siblings.

As those images of her memories reflected on the water surface. Selene was still unaware of it. Only when the Moon rises and the moonlight panned and reflected to the water surface, that's only when she opened her eyes.

And new Revelations reflected passed her eyes.

"A prophecy?" Selene whispered.

She looked at the Moon above her and she sighed., "The 3000 World... Is in danger, and no one even knows about it."

She walked up back to the surface and not even a trace of water can be seen from her. She looked back at the spring water and whispered.,, "Thank you... Thank you for the warning." Then she walked back.

When the moon was present and the stars was shining. Selene started to go to work traveling to different locations of the 3000 worlds and showering these world the blessings of the night.

In a forest path near the Mune Mist Spring. A distorted space suddenly appeared and in an instance a silhouette of someone was thrown out of it.

*Thump*

The sword flickered and brightened for a moment but in the end it also went faint.

In the end a man and a sword lay unconscious on the grassy path, with the stars and the moon witnessing it.

"Selene-sama! Selene-sama!"

A shiny flickering thing was flying everywhere in a frenzied manner, shouting someone's name in an urgent manner.

Selene who was idling by after doing her job, heard the call then helplessly sighed., "I'm here..."

The flickering thing halted itself, then looking at the place where it heard the voice, it immediately shouted with a grevious voice.

"Selene-sama!"

Looking at the flickering thing that was flickering grievously at her, Selene was helpless., "What's the matter?" She held the thing.

The thing looked at her, then cried., "The other stars were bullying me! Wuwu"

Selene looked at the little flickering star that was crying in her hands, and she patiently pat it and soothe it., "Okay, don't cry... Tell me what did they say?"

The little star sniffled and peeked at Selene. Seeing her smiling at him, the little star was encouraged. He twisted back and forth. In the end he still said it.

"I'm already in the stage of adolescent..." The little star whispered. Selene smiled., "Then?"

"I was finally able to transform... to my second human form..." From his calm narration the little star still couldn't help but choke in greivence every time he remembered what the other star said. "But then when I transformed... they said that my second form looked like a baby! Waaaaah!!"

Selene: ..... [blink blink jpg.]

"What?"

The little star looked at her grievously., "They said I still looked the same! Like a baby! TwT" then little star transformed.

A bright light surrounded little star and when the star subsided what stays was a little handsome boy with a... Baby face.

Selene was speechless for a second, but then again when she remembered the little star's 1st form... she smiled slightly and couldn't help but agree with the bul—honest stars—lies.

The little star was one of the stars that accompany Selene throughout the 3000 worlds to give off blessings to the worlds. He has a light blue bleach hair, paired with his golden litted eyes. He was still a young little toddler kid that time with a baby face, that everyone would want to pinch.

He was named Asteri by Selene which means Star.

And now that this little star, Asteri, has already completed his adolescent form yet still looked the same as his first form and the only difference now is he have now grown taller.

...Yet still shorter than her.

But Selene knows that little star isn't a kid anymore

Little Asteri has finally grown up.

Selene: "Pff."

"Selene-sama! QwQ"

"No. Really, coughs... Sorry" Selene knows that it was really bad to laugh at the injured(not) little Asteri, yet she couldn't still help it. From little Aster's crying baby face and til to his childish aggrieved gestures...

He do really look like a baby that needs bullying.

With mirth in her eyes that couldn't be hide, and paired with her serious (not) gentle face. Selene tried to appease Asteri.

But still in the end with a person who was willing to appease and a person who was willing to be appeased. Everything was still resolved... Not until Selene felt a fluctuation from her surrounding that is.

Selene and Asteri both at the same time stop their antics and looked back at the same direction.

Mune Spring Forest.

"Selene-sama?" Asteri looked at Selene with a worried expression.

Selene smiled at Asteri., "It's alright." Then she stood up. "Let's go see what happened." And so Selene went on to that certain place.

Asteri was still worried but eventually still followed his Goddess Selene.

Selene walked to the forest path that was still the same as how she saw it earlier but the only difference now is that, there was a scent of blood in the air.

*Whoosh*

The wind passed by them and Asteri couldn't help but shiver.

As they continued to walk closer and closer to the source of the blood. Vaguely everything was suddenly muted. Even Asteri couldn't help but lighten his breathing.

As Selene arrived to that certain source, what she saw made her halt her breath. Then she quietly exhaled.

The man in front of her was bathed by the moon's light, He was wearing an armor and was holding a sword, he was also a top tier handsome man. He has a red long hair and some of it was also covering his face, but that didn't stop Selene from appreciating.

Selene slowly approach the unconscious man. Slowly by slowly until she arrived in front of him. Selene kneeled and was just about to examine him when...

*Whoosh!*

"Ahhhh! Selene-sama!! Help!"

Selene immediately looked back at Asteri. And what she found made her speechless.

She could've swear that just awhile ago, when she was still approaching the man, that man's sword was still on his hand but...

Why am I seeing a sword flying after Aster?

"Selene-sama!!!"

The sword doesn't seem to want to hurt Asteri. But instead...

Why does it looks like a cat playing with a mouse?

Selene was still thinking about it when suddenly she felt the change of air in the surroundings. And when she remembered that she still need to check up on the man, she looked back and there she saw the man.

"Who are you?"

"Me?" The lady points her hands to herself, in a confused manner.

"Yes, You."

The lady gently smiled and clearly unbothered by the man's tone. And with a smile she answered him.

"I am ******. And you are?"

Though he was hesitant at first, but still he eventually answered.

"You can call me, *******."

"That's a nice name." With a gentle yet mirthful smile she said.

As the moonlight shone brightly to her, along with the tranquility and gentle breeze of the forest, accompanied by the silent orc.h.e.s.tra of the forest dwellers... Everything was peaceful.

Looking at her, then to the shining Moon.

He unknowingly smiled, and thought.

'This... is quite nice.'

"Buzz—"

"Selen ... ma?"

"Buzz—"

"Selene-sa..a?"

"Buzz—"

"Selene-sama?"

What?

As she open her eyes, she saw a baby face face.

"Sigh... Asteri."

Asteri, the owner of that baby faced face replied., "Yes?"

Luna looked at Asteri complicatedly but in the end still end up helplessly sighing., "Nothing..."

Asteri after hearing Luna answered was then chirpy talking about this those. How the room was this and those. While Luna was still stuck with that dream.

It was weird. Just as I have met Asteri, who introduced himself as my close friend in the past. And yeah, also that past that he could not tell for now...

And strangely this. This dream that seems familiar to me yet I could've swear that I only have seemed to dream of this day.

And that man in the dream. Why... does he seems so familiar.

"Selene-sama?"

Luna was then brought back to the present with Asteri's calling., "Huh?"

"I was calling you Selene-sama..." Asteri looked at her with grevience. Luna was yet again helpless and patted Asteri's head smilingly. "Sorry. Sorry..."

It was weird for Luna but yet it also seems just natural for her. It was like she did it so often in the past...

The past huh.

Did I really have a past? Just like Asteri said...? Then... Does that mean that the man in my dream...

...Was also from my past?

Sigh. Better think of it later. Or I'll be late for class.

"Come on now Asteri." Luna came down from her bed and immediately started to get ready.

Luna ignored everyone's look, and coldly entered the school gate.

Just as she entered the school. In five different places, four different individuals at the same time looked at the school gates location.

"It's starting..." A middle school boy whispered. Looking outside the classroom's window, with a solemn expression that doesn't fit his age.

Everyone around him was noisy, there were students that were gossiping, there were students that was laughing and there was also students who was busy finishing there homework. Everything only went quiet when someone shouted from outside the door., "The teacher's coming!"

As everyone went to their seats and busy acting like a good student only the boy who was looking at the window didn't move. He was still there, seating on his seat but his face was looking outside the window.

Even when the teacher announced that they have a new classmate he still didn't looked back.

"Everyone settle down. I want you to meet a new transfer student....."

He was still looking at that place...

"She is from a private school. But she because of some issues her parents transferred her here...."

Eyes was still focused on that location.

"Introduce yourself."

As he squinted his eyes to that place...

"Hi everyone I am Daisy!"

He suddenly froze.

"You all don't need to ask me about my last name it's just too common so don't mind it."

As she smiled while saying that. The boy also slowly turned his head to look at the girl in the platform, as he faced the girl, the girl also incidentally faced him. Smiling she said.

"Nice to meet you" again...
