Extra-1 (1)

Anna had a dream.

It was a very strange dream. Except for herself, there were no living creatures in it, only the boundless and vast scene, but she still understood what the dream wanted to tell her from the silent images.

The Abyss was born out of obscurity, and with it, the Demon Realm and the Human Realm. The two worlds were originally one, but gradually separated and evolved. The Abyss and the Demon Realm co-existed, and had a little influence in the Human Realm, weakly affecting everything within the line of life and death.

Just like a black hole, The Abyss had its own mass. Its huge mass made it converge within a certain range, but as time went by, the dissipation of its mass prevented the gravitational force generated by itself from confining itself, producing a tendency to swell and engulf everything in its path.

And its dissipating quality would gradually gather in one place in the Demon Realm, and finally condense into The Abyss tree seeds. The Abyss tree seeds, if taken to The Abyss to be planted, could grow fruit. When thrown back into The Abyss to replenish its dissipating quality, it could be stabilized forever.

When Anna woke up from the dream, it was intriguing to see Rothgarr’s expression.

Rothgarr didn’t need much sleep, but because Anna maintained the routine of a human, he followed suit. When she woke up, he immediately opened his eyes, hugged her and kissed her, laughing: “Want to?”

Anna pushed him away and condemned: “If you hadn’t wasted those two The Abyss tree seeds before, The Abyss wouldn’t have swelled like that.”

Rothgarr was taken aback: “What?”

“When you find The Abyss tree seeds in the future, I will plant them in The Abyss.” Anna said.

The Abyss tree seeds appear once every thousands of years, and sometimes it didn’t matter if it was missed. This was because the tree seeds would return to nature after a long time and then become a new The Abyss tree seed again. In this world, there was also conservation of mass.

Rothgarr’s face changed when he heard the words: “What do you want to do?”

He thought of the time that Anna almost abandoned him in The Abyss, so naturally he didn’t look very happy. He suspected that Anna wanted to leave him through this incident.

“That was thousands of years ago, what are you worried about?” Anna turned over and sat up, and said casually, “Who knows, you might be tired of me then and won’t even care where I go.”

Rothgarr snorted coldly, “Is that how you think of me?”

“I’m just saying it’s a possibility, don’t… what are you doing!” Anna was dragged down by Rothgarr before she could finish her sentence.

She pressed her lips to his and said, “No, I’m going to the Human Realm today!”

“What are you going to do?” Rothgarr kissed Anna’s palm.

Anna withdrew her hand, tickled: “To see my family, and pave the way for free access to the Human Realm in the future.”

“Okay, let’s go when we’re done.”

Anna grabbed Rothgarr’s hand: “I’ll go by myself.”

Rothgarr frowned. In recent decades, he worried about Anna going to the Human Realm by herself, unless people like Leon or Dubian died of old age.

He held Anna’s hand back and said, displeased, “Dream on!”

Much later, Anna packed up her stuff and headed to the Human Realm with Rothgarr.

After the recruitment, the number of people in the castle increased, and according to Anna’s request, they began to expand and build houses. Anna liked it to be lively, and hoped that this place would look like a small town which could gradually develop into a civilization similar to the Human Realm in the future.

When Anna and Rothgarr walked towards the teleportation portal in the basement, they ran into some humanoid demonic creatures who lived and worked in the castle. The latter greeted them respectfully.

Anna couldn’t help thinking of the boring, lonely days when it was just her and Rothgarr living in the castle, and she had to do everything by herself. Now, she didn’t have to cook by herself.

The teleportation portal in the basement had already been repaired, and someone was watching here in case a mage from the Human Realm came over. After all, the ruby pendant had not been retrieved yet.

However, after the extinction crisis passed, the Human Realm mages probably didn’t want to risk their lives to break into the Demon Realm. Having someone stand guard was just a measure of protection.

Rothgarr took Anna into the Human Realm from the teleportation portal, and just after leaving the teleportation portal, they saw some mages not far away.

Anna motioned for Rothgarr to stand still. She walked over by herself.

Anna had the newly given staff from Rothgarr on her. She could fight against four-star mages and escape against five-star mages, so he didn’t worry about anything. He just crossed his arms over his chest and watched as Anna walked over.

These mages were just young men, and when they saw a demon coming out with a human, they all became alert. They hadn’t met Anna and Rothgarr, but they knew who they were.

Anna stopped at a distance that would not cause the other party to feel uneasy and said, “You should know who we are, right? I want to meet Bishop Conrad, if he is still in charge.”

These human mages looked at each other, discussed quietly for a while and said, “Bishop Conrad is still in Black Cloud City, we can take you there.”
