Had a Dream Last Night (1)

The next day, when Anna went to the Mage Association, she deliberately chatted a while with Teresa. Because she had the habit of chatting with Teresa from time to time, her behavior today did not come across as unusual.

Teresa was worthy of the title know-it-all in the Mage Association. As soon as Anna asked her usual opening remark, “Did anything interesting happen in these past two days?”, Teresa replied mysteriously, “Yes, last night I heard that Mage Hansen was beaten up!”

“Oh? Does he have a lot of enemies?” Anna couldn’t help showing a schadenfreude smile, after all, Teresa knew very well the grievances between her and Hansen, so it was normal for her to react like this. “What, was it a serious fight? ”

“I heard that two teeth were knocked out!” Tereza said, “His face was swollen!”

It was four teeth, actually.

Anna corrected Teresa’s statement in her heart, and asked curiously, “Do you know who it was that beat him up?”

Teresa looked around, hesitated, and then whispered: “He said that Mage Raymond beat him up, and he also said that he caught Mage Raymond having an affair with a lady whose husband is a one star mage.”

Anna recently got close to “Raymond”, and because of some wonderful “misunderstanding”, she was now getting mixed up with “Raymond”’s matter, and didn’t have the best reputation.

Hearing Teresa’s words, Anna’s expression changed and she said very angrily, “What a sick person! He didn’t go find the person who beat him up, and instead chose to slander Mage Raymond!”

Her behavior was very appropriate. After all, in the eyes of the public who didn’t know the truth, she and Raymond were considered a pair. It would be too abnormal for her to hear that Raymond had an affair with another woman and not respond.

Teresa echoed: “That’s true, how could a person as arrogant as Mage Raymond have an affair with a married man in the Association? Not to mention secretly beating people up.”

Anna said, “If Mage Raymond comes in later, you must not tell him about it, or he will be furious.”

Teresa nodded hurriedly: “I won’t say anything. I don’t think the higher ups believe it either; they probably won’t go ask Mage Raymond.”

“That’s good.” Anna breathed a sigh of relief. “He is too lazy to care about Hansen now. If he hears that Hansen dares to slander him like this, I’m afraid something will happen again.”

“I definitely won’t tell Mage Raymond, he doesn’t seem to be here today,” Teresa said.

In the past, the demon always arrived before Anna. When she heard that he didn’t come in today. Anna thought it was a little strange. Thinking about what happened yesterday, she thought maybe he was so embarrassed that he didn’t want to see her today.

She was about to say goodbye to Teresa when she saw Teresa look behind her and said quickly, “Mage Raymond is here!”

Anna turned around and saw that it was indeed the demon, so she waved goodbye to Teresa and walked towards him.

Rothgarr’s footsteps subconsciously stopped when he saw Anna, not only because of the “episode” last night, but also because he had a very strange dream last night, and he didn’t even dare to recall the contents of the dream.

“Raymond, let’s go to the library together?” Anna asked, while Teresa was still watching, so she deliberately pretended to seem like she was hiding something from him.

Rothgarr nodded with a cold face, and walked to the library without waiting for her. Anna quickly followed.

When she walked out of the affairs hall, Anna whispered: “Hansen really told people that he caught you having an affair with a married woman and said that he was beaten up by you. Sure enough, no one believes him.”

Rothgarr responded with a grunt. He took bigger steps, and instantly distanced himself from Anna.

Ana looked at the back of the demon who was walking away quickly. It was hard for her not to assume that he was escaping.

She couldn’t help laughing and followed him slowly.

She didn’t expect that yesterday’s incident would be so devastating to the demon. It could be seen that he was really a prideful person, and he couldn’t bear the influence of the casual birds and bees with human women…

But soon Anna couldn’t find it in her to laugh anymore. Today, she made him look bad; in the future, he would definitely retaliate…

Life was hard.

Anna was only depressed for a while; after seeing Natalie in the library with a lovely smile on her face, she was in a much better mood.

Today, they would read books related to potions for a while, and then go to the potion lab to continue their practice after reading for about an hour. It would be another expensive day.

After coming out of the library, Rothgarr did not follow Anna and Natalie to the potion lab. When he was in the library, he was fifty percent further from Anna than usual, otherwise if she was too close, he would unconsciously remember her in last night’s dream. This made him very uncomfortable, so after leaving the library, he went to the meditation room on his own.

Seeing Rothgarr leave, Natalie pulled Anna to the side and asked in a low voice, “Anna, Hansen was beaten up yesterday, do you know about this?”

She had obviously held back for a long time. It wasn’t convenient to talk in the library just now. Now that it was just the two of them, Natalie couldn’t wait to talk about what had happened; her face was full of surprise and excitement.

As a witness to that incident, Natalie still occasionally had nightmares that she died in the mouths of those demonic creatures, so she was actually a little happy to hear that Hansen, the culprit, was beaten up.
