The Despicable Potion Effects (3)

After saying goodbye to Leon, Anna went back to the potion lab she had applied for. Natalie looked at the notes restlessly and did not continue the practice of potion preparation.

Seeing that Anna was back, Natalie immediately stood up.

“Keep practicing.” Anna shook her head and said depressedly, “I’ll figure it out later.”

“En!” Natalie responded and looked at Anna a few more times. Seeing that Anna had started the preparation of the vine grass extract, Natalie also cheered up and continued her potion preparation.

Anna doesn’t need much effort to make the extract of the vine grass now, and her mind couldn’t help but wander off as she was making it.

What the demon said was definitely unbelievable. The deepest inner desire in her heart was definitely not seducing him. As long as she figured out the real effect of the potion, she would be able to refute him forcefully.

Speaking of which, if the effect of the potion he said was true… It meant that he deliberately tricked her into making the potion like this. How black-hearted.

She was very confident in her mental micro-manipulation level. There were definitely no problems with her manipulation. The only problem was in the procedure.

So, what was the purpose of the demon tricking her into creating a potion that made someone follow their deepest desires? Did he want to figure out what she really wanted and use that to his advantage? And her reaction after smelling the potion was to seduce him. Would he be more sure of her desire towards him and think it was time to propose?

After such an analysis, Anna felt that there was no need to clarify the effects of the potion.

She herself knew that the deepest desire in her heart wasn’t him, so what did she have to do with his own misunderstanding? Anyway, when he proposed, she would definitely refuse.

Anna breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the demon push the door and enter. Her extract was only halfway done. She didn’t want to stop, so she ignored him.

Rothgarr couldn’t help but get angry when he saw Anna look at him and then lower her head back down to concentrate on making the extract.

After he bought all the raw materials for “The Spine of Mountains and Rivers” from the management office, he calmed down for a while at the corner of the stairs where no one was there. Then he went over to Dawkins’. He originally thought that Anna would come over, because he knew that Anna would not accept his explanation. She would likely go ask Dawkins about it. But after listening to Dawkins nagging for a while, he still didn’t see Anna, so he came back.

On the way back, he also went to Leon to take a look. If he saw Anna there, he didn’t know what he would do.

Luckily Anna wasn’t there.

Now that Anna was still making the extract in a calm manner, a nameless fire rose in Rothgarr’s heart.

She must have heard what happened from Natalie. Was the act of seducing others so normal to her that she didn’t even need to find out the truth?

Rothgarr moved his hand, and the gold element under his control rushed into the extract solvent that Anna was making, instantly destroying the overall structure of the product and rendering the extract useless.

Anna didn’t expect that the demon would make a move. In a moment of surprise, she also lost control of the water element in the other extract that was going on at the same time, and this one was also scrapped.

Her ten silver coins were gone!

Anna looked at the demon angrily: “What are you doing!”

Naturally, Rothgarr didn’t have the slightest guilt for destroying the fruits of her labor. Seeing Anna finally looking directly at him, he felt much more comfortable and asked with a sneer, “You don’t have anything to say about the effect of that potion?”

“Despicable.”

Anna was stunned; she didn’t say this. She followed the sound and looked at the door, where Leon stood with a glass bottle.

Rothgarr turned around and frowned when he saw Leon, his eyes fell on the bottle, and he laughed in anger.

He had thought that Anna did not look for Leon. It turned out she did go look for him.

Leon walked in, and there was no smile on his handsome face. He walked up to Rothgarr, but looked at Anna and asked, “Anna, did Raymond teach you that adjustment for ‘The Spine of Mountains and Rivers’?”

Anna hesitated for a moment, but her hesitation made the answer clear to Leon.

He turned his eyes to Rothgarr, with a hint of contempt and anger in his eyes: “After the improvement, this has become a seduction potion that can make people enchanted.”

Anna was taken aback for a moment, then heaved a sigh of relief.

She knew it! How could she possibly want to seduce the demon deep down in her heart? Sure enough, he was lying to her! Come to think of it, he must be trying to deceive her by making her think that she really wanted him deep down… There was a psychological concept called self-fulfilling prophecy. If she really thought she wanted him, then she would really want him not long after.

Sure enough, he was a sinister and cunning demon that was impossible to defend against!

Fortunately, she could see through him from the beginning. No matter what psychological effects he tried on her, nothing would work. He was destined to be wasting his time.

But then again, he probably didn’t plan on doing anything to her, otherwise why would he trick her into making this potion in front of Natalie?

Anna believed in Leon’s judgment. Although she was a little curious about where he found the raw materials to make the potion, this was not the point now.

The point now was, how should she tell Leon that this was not as serious as he thought, and that “Raymond” was not “despicable” in that sense?
