The system sounded out in the mind of Roland. Roland was surprised at the mission given by the system. However Roland was happy to receive such mission, as he was planning to get as many witches as possible to join him in his path to building a strong empire.

"Hey, are you listening to me?" Nightingale looked at Roland spacing out in front of her.

"Ah, what? What were you saying?" Roland returned to his sense from the system.

"You are not afraid of me? I can't see any sign of fear in your eyes. To even space out in front of a witch, you must be not afraid of witches or you are just an idiot." Nightingale teased.

"Hmm? Witches are just human with awoken powers. I don't believe that they are associated with the devils. However whether or not if the witches are evil, that depends on the person." Roland looked at Nightingale as if trying to determine her goal in coming here.

"Hmmm... That's the first time i've heard that. You really are different from the rest, even to the extend of saving and harbouring a witch in your house. Are you not afraid that the church will send troops for you? They might even think that you have fallen, associating with a devils and helping the evil witches." Nightingale looked happy hearing Roland answer.

"Although i'm unable to fight against the church right now, but that doesn't mean that i have to believe what they teach. I do not need others to tell me what to think about witches, i will see it myself, before deciding whether or not witches are all evil. In fact, i'm more than happy to hire witches to aid me in building my town. Which is the reason why i saved Anna and hired her to work for me. That offer extend to you and the association that you are in, as long as they have no criminal records." Roland hinted that if she would like to work for him, he would definitely accept her.

Nightingale did not reply but instead smiled at him before disappearing into thin air. Roland scratched his head, looking at the sight in front of him. "I guess it's not going to be that easy, huh" Roland thought before going back to what he was doing before, going through those records.

The next day, Roland called Barov to see him in his meeting room. As the Month of Demons is approaching soon, Roland has to make preparation for it. After going through those records and looking at the map, Roland began to talk about his plans, and the first thing was to build a wall to block off the invasion of the demonic beasts.

Roland pointed at a location on the map, it was between the Redwater River and the North Slope Mountain. Based on the map, it was a natural choke point, as long as he could set up a defence there, he could potentially block off the invasion of the demonic beasts at this location. It's definitely easier since this was the only place he had to defence, he could just fortified this location and focus all his force to defence this wall. Roland told Barov to immediately hire a group of builders to start on building the wall.
