"Mewtwo, Rock tomb." Sam tried to bind Moltres as soon as the battle began but Moltred dodge the Rock Tomb. But soon a Thunderbolt struck Moltres.

Moltres got irritated and returned a Flamethrower to Mewtwo. Moltres then attacked by using Air Slash but escaped it using teleport.

"Teleport behind Moltres and then hit it with Thunder Punch, the use Aura Sphere." Mewtwo teleported behind Moltres and hit it with Thunder Punch on its back of head. Moltres crashed towards the inner wall of volcano but was soon hit by Aura Sphere causing it injuries.

As Moltres was struck in the wall, Sam commanded Mewtwo, "Use Rock Tomb and the Rock Slide." Chains made of sand trapped Moltres and then pieces of rock appeared on top of Moltres and crashed down on it.

Moltres was seriously injured due to Rock Slide and then it flew to the top of volcano and swooped down brewing a Sky Attack with the help of inertia of gravity. The Sky Attack hit Mewtwo and sent it crashing down in the lava and Mewtwo was injured.

Mewtwo came out of lava but was burned on several locations. "Psycho Cut" Mewtwo sent blades made of psychic power towards Moltres but it dodged the blades flexibly and once again hit Mewtwo with Sky Attack.

Battle entered a stalemate as both Moltres and Mewtwo were now heavily injured and win or lose can be decided as soon as one move hits the other.

Moltres again swooped down towards Mewtwo using Sky Attack with all its energy concentrated in this final attack. "Mewtwo, hold on, don't move yet. "Mewtwo listened to Sam and didn't move from the place.

When Moltres was half meter away from hitting Mewtwo, Sam ordered, "Teleport behind Moltres and hit it on its back with a Thunder Punch." Mewtwo teleported at last moment and Moltres missed its goal and kept moving forward but Mewtwo suddenly appeared behind it with both his hands flashing with thunder and it fisted out towards Moltres.

After being hit by double Thunder Punch, Moltres crashed towards the inner wall of volcano and fainted there. Sam floated with the help of psychic towards Moltres and took its blood sample. He then started treating Moltres and Mewtwo.

After Moltres came back to its senses, Sam left there with Vivi who was still shocked by the battle she had seen.

Along the way back outside, Sam heard the sound of system.

Description: Successfully beat legendary pokemon Moltres with any pokemon.

Reward : One Keystone

Additional Effect : Increases host's heat resistance.

The Keystone got stored in the backpack and a energy flowed in Sam's body and next second Sam felt the temperature was a bit less hot . He knew that the temperature has not decreased but his resistance has increased.

Soon they came out of volcano and went towards the pokemon center to rest after a hectic day.

"Sam where are we going next?" Vivi has been subconsciously starting to use we instead of you. Sam was happy to hear this and replied, "I plan to go to Navel Rock island to see if I can find Ho-oh."
