Next day, Sam came early to Professor Oaks lab and saw a lot of cameras and monitoring devices are present in the lab. Many people were adjusting the devices to there perfect state.

Professor Oak was standing in front of a large monitor and talking to a young man. He is wearing blue shirt, black pants and white lab coat. He is Professor Sycamore, who became the youngest Professor at the age of 15 years. He is now 20 years old and he specialises in pokemon mega evolution and changes.

They saw Sam coming and walked towards him. Professor Oak said, "Sam, this is Professor Sycamore who is currently studying mega evolution and he came to Kanto from Kalos flying overnight with his team."

"Hello, Professor Sycamore, I have heard about a lot from Professor Oak. I will try to do my best to assist in your research." Sam said.

"Hello Sam. I have also heard a lot about you. Although you are young, you have unique insight in field of genetics. I hope you can your insight for mega evolution as well." said Professor Sycamore.

Soon all the devices were moved to the backyard of lab and a large area was left empty for Sam and his pokemon.

Professor Oak and Professor Sycamore moved towards the central monitor and Sam went to the empty area. "Sam, you have to give the Megastone to your pokemon and hold the Keystone yourself. Then pass your thoughts to Charizard via the Keystone." Professor Sycamore explained to Sam and told him what to do.

"Come out Charizard." Sam called out Charizard and handed over the Charizardite X to it. He himself wore the Keystone bracelet and tried to pass his thought to the Keystone. "Charizard, Mega evolve."

Soon many rays of light came out of Keystone and Mega stone and interlaced with each other after which white glow of evolution surrounded Charizard and its shape began to change.

Charizard's colour changed from grey black to dark green, two horn like red spurs grew from both of its shoulder. Its wings divided into many parts from bottom and wings inner skim changed to red. The horn protrusion on its head grew longer and its top changed to red. Its orange flames turned to blue.

After all these changes finished, a symbol of mega evolution appeared and then the white glow dissipated. Mega Charizard X appeared in front of everyone.

The team of people brought by Professor Sycamore was busy collecting data and analysing it. "Its different from what we have discovered till now." Professor Sycamore whispered. "What's different?" asked Professor Oak.

"The body shape of Charizard is different from what we have seen before. We had previously recorded a mega evolution of Charizard in Kalos before but it looked different from what this Charizard is looking like." Sycamore explained.

"Professor, maybe each pokemon can have more than one mega evolutions." said Sam.

"It's possible but we need at least one more pokemon to show two different Mega evolution otherwise Charizard's case can only be treated as an exception." said Sycamore.

"Actually Sam has a pokemon which resonates with two different mega stones." Professor Oak interjected.

"What did you say? Sam, do you really have such pokemon. Quickly show it to me." Sycamore said excitedly.

"Relax Professor, I am not going anywhere. Let's first record the data of Charizard." said Sam.

It took an half an hour to completely record all the data of Charizard. Later Sam released the state of mega evolution. Sam was quite tired to maintain the state of mega evolution for half an hour straight. He rested for an hour and then summoned Mewtwo.

As soon as Mewtwo came to the field, Professor Sycamore and his team were surprised as they couldn't identify the pokemon which Sam called.

"What pokemon is this?"asked Sycamore.

"It's called Mewtwo, newly discovered genetic variation of Mew. Its information will be added to Pokedex after the Indigo League.
