Soon one more year passed by and during this time Sam is able to make normal pokeblocks with success rate of 95%. He is now ready to take the Primary breeder exam. Sam asked Professor Oak about when there will be breeder exam. "Breeder exam will happen next week, if you want to give the test then get ready for it I will take you to Saffron city next month." "Thank you Professor"

Sam worked hard next month to improver his efficiency to 100% while training his pokemons. Soon a month passed and Professor Oak took Sam to Saffron city to visit the Breeder's association where the exam will be held.

Sam registered as an examinee and then entered the exam hall. First paper was about general knowledge of pokemons. It was very easy for Sam whose knowledge reserve has reached a terrifying level with the help of system and his past life knowledge.

He filled the whole hour paper in quarter hour and then waited for next paper to start. Next paper was knowledge about the berries and natural ingredients required for the pokeblocks. It was also easy for Sam. He filled the paper and then waited for the practical test.

The practical test also went smooth as he has been practicing for whole year straight. As soon as he came out of the examination hall, Professor Oak asked him, "How was the exam?" "It was very good. I should get atleast 95% score." Sam said confidently.

"It will take time for results to come so how about you roam the city till evening." "Thanks Professor"

Sam had a goal of his visit to Saffron city. He wants to go to the Psychic gym as there are many psychic people so that he can improve his psychic powers. System only gave the ability of ECG but the psychic energy itself is unusable for any other purposes. During last couple of years, his amount of psychic energy within his body has nearly doubled through meditation.

He went to the Saffron gym where a gym apprentice was standing outside the gym. He saw Sam coming to gym and stopped him. "This is not a place where your kid can come. Go to your home."

"I did not come to challenge the gym I came because I heard that the gym has a gathering of psychic peole. I have psychic powers as well." said Sam.

The apprentice got surprised after hearing Sam saying that he was a psychic. He then took Sam to interior of the gym where a middle aged man was meditating. Sam remembered that he was father of Sabrina ( Gym leader of Saffron city). After a while Sabrina's father opened his eyes and his eyes flashed with hint of blue.

"Good afternoon sir, I came here to learn about how to use psychic powers, please instruct me." said Sam politely. Sabrina's father smiled after hearing what Sam said. Ge replied, "Psychic is not easy to operate, do you really want to learn?" "Yes, please"

So he learned the whole afternoon how to use psychic for different purposes such as lifting objects, forming a shield made of psychic enegy and many other things. Sabrina's father was surprised to know that Sam can use ECG to talk as ECG is not a easy use of psychic energy.

As it approached evening, Sam said goodbye to Sabrina's father and went back towards breeder's association. Sabrina's father watched his back and murmured, "Its a nice boy. I wish Sabrina can make friends with him. But its too difficult to open Sabrina's closed heart." he sighed.

Soon Sam reached the breeder's association where the result is just announced. Sam took the first place and everyone was surprised to see that a 9 year old took first place.

"Congratulations Sam now you have become a primary breeder as well." Professor Oak's voice came from behind Sam. "Where Professor it would have not been possible if have not arranged materials for my practices."

"So let's head back to Pallet town."

"Yes Professor"

"So what are your next plans ?"

"I would like to continue working as your assistant for 8 more months and then travel around the world challenging leagues."

"That's good. You , Gary and Ash will all be travelling after 8 months, I will become lonely again in my lab."

Soon they reached Pallet town and Sam went to his home to sleep. While laying down down on his bed Sam thought, ' Charmander has been suppressing his evolution for a long time, it's time to let it evolve and I also have to plan Eevee's evolution as well. Ahh I am still busy.' And Sam went to sleep.

Next day early morning, San woke up and went to Professor Oak's lab. "Good morning Professor, Today my Charmander is going to evolve." "Oh, let me come to see."

They both went to the backyard of the lab. Sam threw a pokeballs and Charmander and Eevee came out of it. "Charmander you dont have to hold back anymore, you can evolve." said Sam.

As soon as Charmander heard this, his body was covered in white glow as he began to grow in size. Sharp claws grew out in his hands and a horn like protrusion came out on top of his head. After the glow dissipated a shiny Charmeleon was standing there. Eevee looked at Charmeleon enviously. Sam patted Eevee's head and assured it, "Don't worry your evolution will soon come as well." "Eeev"

As a result of heavy acc.u.mulation, Charmeleon skipped three levels and directly reached the bottleneck of Intermediate stage. But it will take a while for it to breakthrough again as it is not used to his current body.
