Two hours later, after Sam and company left, ten senior grunts of SRL came where Sam opened the Small world.

"This is the location where secret realm was opened last. Search in nearby places for clues." The Captain said.

All the grunts then searched in nearby area for clues. After an hour of searching, one of the grunt found the place where Sam and the girls had stopped for lunch. These were the only clues they found after searching the whole area.

"Captain, this is the only place where someone has left nearly three hours ago which coincides with the time of secret realm opening." Grunt A said.

"The only clue we found is this group of trainers. Most probably they had entered the secret realm so they know the entering method." Grunt B said.

"We should catch them and let them tell us the opening method. Its best if we can know the natural method of opening the secret realm." Grunt C said.

"It makes sense, if we knew the opening method, half of our mission will be completed." Grunt D said.

"OK then." The Captain said and released Houndoom from his pokeball and said to it, "Houndoom follow the smell that is left here." Houndoom bent down to smell and then ran towards the direction in which Sam and girls had left.

Sam and the girls were going towards Santalune city unaware that they have been followed. Sam had left both the Ralts to sit on his shoulders to increase bonding with them. They walked through the forest talking about things, most of which was Serena asking Sam about his time in Kanto.

"Sam, the Santalune city gym is bug type gym. What pokemon are you going to use against Viola, the gym leader of Santalune city gym." Vivi asked.

"Froakie and one of the Ralts depending on the situation. I plan to train them at night so that they can fight well at the gym." Sam said.

"Well, Serena, speaking of which, are you not going to challenge the gym." asked Vivi.

"I .... haven't decided which path to take. My Mom wanted me to become Rhyhorn racer like her but I don't want to follow her path." Serena sighed. "I plan to travel around a bit and then decide what to do."

"No matter what path you choose, I will support you as a friend." Sam encouraged her.

"A friend ...." Serena murmured but soon determined to change Sam's thoughts about her during their time together.

Soon a Houndoom came from behind them and stopped their path. Later they saw 10 men came from behind and surrounded the three.

"Hey kids, we will ask you few questions, answer me truthfully and you can go otherwise." Grunt E threatened them.

"Tell us the way you entered secret realm." Grunt F asked.

"Secret realm, what is that?" Serena asked confusedly while Sam guessed that these people are from SRL but he was also confused about their question.

"The independent space which you entered, tell us quickly otherwise..." Grunt G said menacingly.

"We don't know what you are talking about." Vivi said, although she knew about secret realm because Sam had told her but she concluded that such things should not be spread.

While all the others were talking, Sam secretly sent instructions to Mewtwo which was staying in pokeball on Sam's belt. 'As soon as you come out, throw a Aura Sphere at Houndoom and then control all the ten people with Confusion.'

Sam released Mewtwo who quickly condensed the aura between his hand and sent it to Houndoom, who was sent back flying and fainted.

All the people present were shocked for a while but Mewtwo didn't give them a chance to act and controlled their bodies with Confusion.
