The Strongest Fox-Demon (23)

Both Chu Xiang and Bai Yi now have a very ordinary appearance, not at all eye-catching. The same was true for Li Yufeng, looking like a bad old man. The three rushed to chase the Daoist masters and did not attract anyone’s attention. It did not take long for them to catch up with the three masters.

Three Daoist masters were sitting under a tree and resting with their eyes closed. As they got closer, the Daoist master on the lead opened his eyes alertly and shouted, “There’s demonic energy! Come out!”

Bai Yi hovered forward first and without saying a word she waved her hand and threw three ice picks. “Dastardly Daoist master. This ancestor is out. Die!”

The Daoist master flicked his horsetail whisk to block the ice picks, and squinted his eyes. When he recognized Bai Yi, he was momentarily stunned. “Fox demon?” He glanced at Chu Xiang who also appeared and said, “The two fox demons? You…”

Chu Xiang was toying with two Five Thunder Talismans in her hands. She smiled in response, “That’s right, it’s us. I haven’t seen you for a few days. I trust you have been well since we last met, Daoist masters. You gave us sisters such a big gift last time. We should return the favor, no? How about… skinning you alive?”

With two ‘booms’ in succession, Chu Xiang’s Five Thunder Talismans were hurled between the three of them, so fast that they didn’t even have time to dodge. They barely had time to use magic to withstand the power of the Five Thunder Talismans.

“Evil creatures! You’re courting death!” The Daoist master with a huge sword on his back roared furiously and rushed forward with his sword.

Chu Xiang and Bai Yi smiled and dodged, and they restored their original attire while dodging. Bai Yi brandished her snow-white damask and laughed: “It turns out that this Daoist master of the righteous path did not cultivate his moral character. He is so bad-tempered and ugly. How did he manage to live so long? Eh, how about I send him to reincarnation?”

The soft and fluttering damask turned into a life-threatening blade the moment Bai Yi’s voice fell. The damask as thin as a cicada’s wing slipped across the Daoist master’s cheek, drawing a string of blood beads. This provoked the master’s fury and he became even more vigorous. He wielded his giant sword while cursing!

Bai Yi responded to him with peals of laughter like silver bells, luring him to the side of the woods to fight. The other two Daoist masters wanted to chase after him but Chu Xiang released a line of fire to stop them. She said with a grin, “How could so many people bully my sister? Have you asked me?”

The fire wire in her hand resembled a long whip, and she swung it towards the Daoist master leader. The master promptly cast a talisman and the talisman paper melted into ice, wrapping around Chu Xiang’s fire whip. He and his companion took advantage of the opportunity when Chu Xiang was melting ice to throw several Thunder Talismans in succession.

Chu Xiang swiftly dodged, mobilized a tornado with one hand and let it roll towards the Daoist masters. She turned her head and said, “Are you still on? What are you watching there for?”

Li Yufeng spread his hands and said through voice transmission: [It suddenly occurred to me. You didn’t tell me what grudges you have, did you? What if I help the wrong person?]

[Then leave.] Chu Xiang flung two long fire whips with both hands and wrapped them around the necks of the two Daoist masters. The fire was blazing hot, enough to start a prairie fire!

Li Yufeng stepped forward to wrestle with one of the Daoist masters while helplessly saying, “Just kidding. Why are you taking it seriously?”

The three Daoist masters used more than a dozen tricks but Chu Xiang saw through all of them. One was good at using swords, one was a master of talismans, and the other was average. The expert in arrays must have been kept to take care of the cold poison and the remaining one should be good at medicine and so was kept for the same reason.

As long as these three were eliminated, the remaining three would pose no threat at all.

Chu Xiang shouted, “Get rid of them quickly. Don’t complicate matters.”

Bai Yi, who was laughing at the Daoist master, responded, “Got it. Daoist master, let me show you this lady’s cultivation!”

Bai Yi spun and multiplied into a dozen Bai Yis. She surrounded the Daoist master with his giant sword. White silk from all directions wrapped the master tightly, and then immediately followed by a layer of thick ice and snow. The master stood there frozen into an ice man.

While the master was mobilizing his power, the dozen Bai Yis attacked him in unison. Thus, countless attacks rained down on him. By the time he broke through the ice and snow, he could not help spitting out a mouthful of blood. His vitality was seriously injured.

Bai Yi snorted coldly: If we hadn’t gotten caught in a trap that day, do you think you could have hurt me? Today I’ll return the favor twice as much!”

The master leader saw this and wanted to help, but Chu Xiang released a wall of fire and directly burned his sleeves. “Are you still thinking of saving others? You should take care of yourself first!”

She threw three Defensive Talismans, which happened to block the Daoist master’s three attacks, and then threw out her array plate infused with spiritual power, trapping the master inside. The master was alarmed and instantly felt the oppressive threat. The red fox demon seemed to have grown much stronger than last time.

The master met Chu Xiang’s gaze, and just as he was about to speak, she threw several fireballs towards him, preventing him from uttering a word. Seeing her sharp and indifferent eyes, something clicked on him instantly, but he couldn’t care less about other matters. On the contrary, he could only desperately resist Chu Xiang’s attacks.

Li Yufeng’s side was simpler. The master was not quite powerful. During the fight, Li Yufeng and Bai Yi didn’t pay attention to Chu Xiang’s side. A gleam flashed in Chu Xiang’s eyes. She directly took out a bottle of poison from her space and sprinkled it. When the poison made contact with the fire, it turned into gas and seeped into the master’s wounds.

The master was petrified, but the effect of the poison had already kicked in. His eyes bulged out and his hand clutched his throat in pain. Chu Xiang took this opportunity to crush his dantian and slapped the top of his head, shattering his soul!

The master died. Chu Xiang nimbly fumbled for the treasures on him and burned him clean. Li Yufeng and Bai Yi followed closely and dealt with the other two Daoist masters.

The fire burned quietly. The three people gathered together to check their spoils this time. Not to mention, these Daoist masters have hidden a lot of goodies, spiritual talismans, elixirs, and magic tools, all of which were of good quality.
