The flames on the Ghoul were extinguished but he did not had time to pay attention to it as he was busy dodging fireballs launched at him by Asuka.

"Come out" The Ghoul screamed as a horde of low level ghouls came out of the shadow running toward the group.

"Everyone, use Moeru nami" Asuka ordered the group while attacking the leader Ghoul with fireballs.

The group followed her orders and thew some talismans on the ground which turned into magical circles different from the one Asuka was using.

"Moeru nami" The group spoke in unison as a wave of fame came out of the magic circle circle and attacked the running ghouls.

Seeing the ghouls being burned the leader leaped out of the factory.Watching the leader ghoul fleeing the group turned to stop him.

"Focus on destroying the horde, make sure none of them escape. I'll take care of the leader." Asuka ordered the group while running after the Ghoul and the magic circle used by her dissipated in nothingness.The group wanted to stop her but they were busy fighting the ghouls.

Outside the factory,Asuka followed the the ghoul to an alley.As she reached the alley,she lost all signs of the ghouls except for the smell of decaying corpse left by him.She frowned and entered the alley as she heard a sliding sound coming from upward.

It was the Ghoul sliding the walls of with one of his on each wall as he was few meters away from her,he left his grip from the walls and jumped at her bringing his fist on her face.

Asuka dodged the attack by jumping backward and the Ghoul's fist collided with the ground making a huge spider web crack on it.

"We higher ghouls are thirty times stronger than average humans as our bones thirty times than humans hehehehehe." The Ghoul laughed loudly and then looked at her and said "We also love to eat humans hehehe."

The ghoul lunged at her,to block the attack Asuka held a talisman tightly and fiery barrier appeared in front on her.The barrier got destroyed by a punch from the ghoul,the barrier was able to lessen the impact of the punch but flew back and crashed on wall.

She got an injury on back of her head.She was trying to stay conscious but her vision was getting blurry, she could not even move all she could see was the Ghoul was approaching her.She was losing all hope ready accept death but somehow managed to grab a talisman as a black shadow flashed in front taking the ghoul with it.She didn't knew what happened but all she knew that she was safe and closed her eyes.

Few hours later..

(Asuka's pov)

I felt warmth in my body because of something then pain coming from back of my head.I slowly opened my eyes.

"My lord,Hime-sama is awake."

When i opened my eyes i saw a middle aged woman sitting near my bed, she was Mrs.Sohara.She is the best healer in our clan as she is the only one in our clan with affinity to wood elements.Standing beside her was a middle-aged man with black hair, he was my father.

"Awake yet" My father said coldly.He was not always like this he was warm and affectionate but after mothers death he changed.

I got up and said "Yes, father"

"You look like a mess,you left the clan members to take care of the low ghouls while you went to fight high-level ghoul without proper equipment or support.Do you have any idea,how risky that was? " My father shouted at me but deep in my heart,i knew that he was worried for me.

"Yes, father" I answer in a low voice.

Her father looked a wounds which were covered in green aura slowly healing and said "Sigh, at least you managed to kill it.Quite brutally."

'Kill,As far as i remember that thing was going to kill me then..'

I started thinking about then my head started to ache.

"Hime-sama please rest,your injuries are not fully healed." Mrs.Sohara said with a worried expression.

"We talk about this later, now rest." After saying this my father left the room.

Here i was lying on my bed thinking about what happened 'The black shadow.'

"Mrs.Sohara can you call Mr.Kirihama here?" I asked Mrs.Sohara.Mr.Kirihama was the person who brought information about the mission.

"Yes, Hime-sama" Mrs.Sohara replied and went out of the room.

Few minutes later,She came back with Mr.Kirihama and soon and he entered he knelt down begging for forgiveness.

"I already forgave you Mr.Kirihama,so please get up." I said to him with a annoyed expression.

"Yes,Hime-sama" saying this Mr.Kirihama got up and looked at Asuka.

"Mr.Kirihama i need details what happened and how you found me?" l asked with a serious look on my face. p

Mr.Kirihama after calming down replied "Hime-sama,after you went running after the Ghouls.More ghouls came out of the shadows and attacked us,we were able burn all of them and the some of us stayed to make sure that all the ghouls are finished.Me with some other members went to search for you,we found you lying wounded and unconscious near a wall."

"What about the Ghoul?" Asuka asked.She had already guessed everything and was curious about the Ghoul.

"Hime-sama,we found the Ghoul with a gaping hole on his c.h.e.s.t." Mr.Kirihama replied with a little tense expression on his face,he saw Asuka was not a saying and asked "Anything else,Hime-sama?"

".....No,you may leave." I replied and lied on the bed while Mrs.Sohara was releasing a green aura from her palms onto my wounds.

I was clearly tired and but thoughts about the black shadow were still lingering on my mind.Who are what ever it was,it saved my life.
