Robot For A Boyfriend

Emily puts her things into the big black truck like vehicle parked outside of Kaine's house and knocks on the rear passenger car door. Kaine opens the door with an angered expression on his screen. "Oh, what'd I do? I'm sorry!" Emily says frantically, not wanting to ruin her standing with Kaine. "Not you." He says as he pulls her in quickly, landing her on the seat next to him. He puts his arm around her waist and sits and broods. Emily blushes, looking down at his hand on her side.

A few minutes later, Mr. Jameson walks toward the car before motioning to someone behind the truck. The rear driver side door is opened, revealing Kaine's roommate Trevor, who Emily had met only briefly once before. She thinks she remembers a little bit more than that, but she can't put her finger on it. "Sup Kaine. Hey Emily." He says as he climbs into the truck, sitting next to Emily. "Father, I wish to express my anger toward you for ruining my date with Emily." Kaine says, still holding on to Emily, squeezing her against him. "Sorry son, but I'm sure there will be plenty of other times for that." Jameson replies as he starts the car. "Hey, this beast is fast, but it's still gonna take us three hours to get there, so feel free to sleep on the way Emily." He says as he revs the engine, making a thunderous sound as he zips past the entirety of the town and zooms on to the highway.

Emily cant help but to start falling asleep to the rhythmic sound of the vehicle. She lays her head on Kaine's c.h.e.s.t, not caring that his body is cold and metal. "Emily, if you would like, I can heat up my body temperature to help you fall asleep." Kaine says gently, still holding on to her. "I-if it's not too much trouble." She says, hoping that it isn't. His body makes a low humming sound as she feels his body start to warm up. "Thank you." Emily says, truly starting to fall asleep now. Kaine brushed her hair with his other hand and looks down gently at her, fearing for her safety in this loop.
