Robot For A Boyfriend

Kaine and Emily sit down at a table at the very edge of the restaurant, able to look over the beautiful city beneath them. "It's a lot more fun when it's dark and cloudy, but I needed to make up for the previous broken promises anyways." Kaine says with a thumbs up. The waiter brings two glasses of water and two menus. The menus are now touchscreen so you can order whenever you like, thanks to Jameson Tech, or J.T. as many abbreviate it. Emily swipes through a few of the options, staring in dread at the prices of the entrees. "What's wrong my dear? Do you not like it?" Kaine asks, worried if he showed off too much. "Yes, its beautiful honey... but look at the prices of the food. Surely we can't afford to eat here, right?" Emily says, sliding her hand on to Kaine's.

Kaine squeezes on to Emily's hand lovingly. "My sweet, had it not been for my father, this place would still be a hole-in-the-wall restaurant." Kaine replies, a heart appearing on his screen. "So you get to eat here for free?" Emily asks, barely grasping the concept Kaine is trying to present to her. "No, neither me nor my father eat, since we both have mechanical systems rather than a digestive system." He says. Emily looks at Kaine, startled at what he just said about his father. "Mr. Jameson is a robot?" Emily replying, intrigued into the new information. "Not necessarily. He is a cyborg. When the firs MAC-enites rebelled, they targeted the home facility. They planted explosives, and my father happened to be in the blast. He only has one eye that remained, the one that isn't covered up." Kaine saying, clearing some room for Emily's meal

Emily's jaw remains open after she processes the information. "So that's why he covers up the rest of his body? I couldn't possible imagine a creation of mine costing me 99% of my body." She says, closing her mouth as the food is served. Emily is awestruck at the amazing plate of food in front of her. She thanks the waiter and starts to eat, each bite making her mouth simmer with flavor.
