Trevor's voice rings through Emily's ears, no longer with the lightheartedness she had heard from him earlier. Emily gulps as she starts to back up toward the door, fearful of any movement she makes. As she's backing up, she hits a metal wall behind her. She slowly turns her head back, only to see Mr. Jameson towering over her. "Trevor, be nice to the poor girl. She has self-esteem issues and a lack of confidence in herself. Her father also, to the dismay of my pride, has an incurable disease and will die shortly. She will be with us from here on out." He says, hardly acknowledging Emily.

Emily looks up at Mr. Jameson with an expression that can only be described as a girl dropping her ice cream onto her father's corpse. "Everything you just said really hurt." She says as a tear goes down her cheek. Mr. Jameson puts his hand on her shoulder. "I understand, but that is the facts, and the quicker I explained it, the less likely Trevor was to blowing that cute little horn off of that onesie." He replies, looking at Trevor who now has his gun lowered. "I'm still kinda confused, but welcome to the family." Trevor says as he walks off, acting as though nothing happened.

Kaine walks around the corner of the foyer just as Trevor leaves. His screen has a noticable crack running along the side of it, causing the happy expression to be disconnected and slightly glitched. Emily slowly puts her things down and walks over to Kaine, standing on her tippy toes, only to see the bottom of his screen. "How on Beta-6 did you crack this? Isn't this glass supposed to be the best? I mean, with your father being the creator of the MAC-enites and all." She says, still studying his screen. Mr. Jameson sighs. "He managed to crack it so much, and the Proton Glass was way too expensive, even for me. So I just started giving him bullet-proof glass, mainly because of Trevor. But you still manage go crack that, don't ya?" Mr. Jameson says, seemingly upset at the last parts of his sentence
