Robot For A Boyfriend

Emily holds on to Kaine as they zip through the air with great speed. They arrive at Emily's house in less than 3 minutes, cutting the walk time by nearly 10 minutes. Emily slides off of Kaines arms and on to the ground. She fixes her hair and looks at Kaine with exhilaration. "That was awesome!" She says as she takes a deep breath and breaths steadily. "Agreed. It was fun." Kaine says before turning to walk the opposite direction. "Isn't it funny that we live right across the street from each other?" Emily laughs a little bit. "Yeah, it is."

Emily turns toward her front door, eager to tell her father what had happened. She hears Kaine walk through his door and closes it. Emily starts to walk in, but notices that the door is cracked open a tad bit. Curios, she walks in slowly. "Dad?" She asks as she steps in to an empty house. Theres nothing out of the ordinary. No tables flipped over, no papers scattered. "He probably just went to grab the mail and forgot to shut the door." She says trying to think rationally before jumping to conclusions.

She walks down the steps to the bas.e.m.e.nt with caution. She pokes her head around the corner to see her father slouched over and head lying on the desk. "Dad, did you fall asleep again?" Emily says with amus.e.m.e.nt in her voice. No response. She walks over and sees some red liquid on some of the papers. "Did your red pen explode?" She says with no response again.

She gets closer, standing over him now and sees a hole through his head. Her eyes widen as she realizes what it meant, and she runs upstairs to her room. She starts to cry and looks around her room. She looks under her pillow and finds it. Kaine goes outside of his house and hears a bang. He zips in to the house through the living room window, shattering it. He immediately runs to Emily's room. "You better not have done what I think you did." He says as he opens her door. He sees her body lying limp in the corner with blood splattered on the wall. He takes a deep robotic breath and calmly says "Loop."
