Ron Weasley: A Noble's Ascension

Chapter 26 - Ride to Tiksi

The incident with the Vampire left Ron with a great sense of urgency, made him realize that Voldy and Dumbledore weren't the only Monsters in this world.

Ron knew that if the Vampire really wanted to, she could've annihilated him without breaking a sweat.

"*She f.u.c.k.i.n.g played with me, that was so damn humiliating! I couldn't do anything, but just you wait I'll get my revenge...*"

-

When the train finally reached Yakutsk, Russian Aurors or "свет" quickly surrounded it, while another group headed inside with their wands ready.

Ron who'd expected that to happen, used a hiding charm and his Invisibility Cloak to sneak away.

"*Like hell I'm going to get s.u.c.k.e.d in whatever the f.u.c.k she got into. She might be some overpowered Vampire but I'm still inexperienced and weak, which she so kindly showed me.*"

As for the passengers and crew that remained on the train they'd recounted the entire story, all while leaving out a certain Crimson haired boy.

-

Now that he'd arrived at Yakutsk, Ron needed to find a plane that would take him to Tiksi. Continuing with the his horrible luck, when he asked around the city he was told that there were no available flights scheduled for this week.

Trying to see if that really was the truth he used Legilimens on one of the workers at a travel agency.

What he found was that there really wasn't any flights to Tiksi at least for a month since most of planes that flew that route were in maintenance and the rest had been commissioned by the military to deliver "goods" to a military base.

"*Shit... When am I going to get a break!?*"

Walking through the streets of Yakutsk in the freezing cold, Ron was really hating coming to Russia.

Looking around for a hotel he spotted an interesting sight, a group of men dressed almost exactly like the ones that tried to swipe his item pouch walked into an Alley.

"*I bet those guy's ought to know something, maybe I'll even be lucky and they're coming back from robbing some fool.*"

Having found a way to waste some time and maybe make a quick buck, Ron followed them into the Alley, and half a hour later Heisenberg walked out.

-

A long black trench coat wearing bald man made his way down the streets of Yakutsk. The man walked neither fast nor slow, each step he took was calculated and done silently.

He continued to walk until he came to a "Pet" shop, entering the store he was greeted by a young man. Going up to the counter Heisenberg asked to see the флаеры, which garnered a quick glare by the shopkeeper before he signaled for Heisenberg to follow him to the back.

Going to the back of the shop they exited the shop through a back door before coming to a small field with a warehouse. The shopkeeper then went up to the warehouses door and knocked in a weird pattern.

*Knock*

*Tap*

*Knock*

*Knock*

"зима приближается"

*Click*

The door opened and they quickly entered, inside was a small room similar to a waiting room with a doorway leading to a small corridor. An old man was sitting down while drinking from an enchanted bottle, since everytime he drank it get full again. The shopkeeper hurriedly bowed to the old man before exiting the warehouse, Heisenberg didn't waste anytime and took out 100,000 Kusokzolta and stacked them in front of the man.

"( Where to?)"

"( Tiksi.)"

Without saying anything else the man collected the gold and went through the doorway, Heisenberg followed. From the outside the warehouse didn't seem any bigger than a few feet but Heisenberg noticed that they walked for almost 10 minutes before they came to a stable.

When he was going through the minds of the men dressed exactly like the ones from the day before he learned two new things. They were part of an underground organization composed of Muggle Born and Half-Blood Wizards.

The reason the two he encountered firat had no recollection about this was mostly likely due to not being high enough up the latter. That also explained why they were so weak and inexperienced that was probably their first job, to see if they were cut out for it.

The other was the location of a carriage driver that for the right price smuggles anything across Russia.

What made this carriage amazing at least for Heisenberg was what was pulling it, Thestrals. A breed of winged horse with a skeletal body, reptilian face, and wide, leathery wings that resembled a bat's.

"( Get in, we'll reach Tiksi at dawn.)"

Heisenberg nodded and as he was entering the small black carriage he made sure to get a better look at the Thestrals.

Once inside the back of the warehouse began to open up like a garage door. The winged horses saw the outside and began to gallop, then trot before running full speed ahead.

"*This might've just made this trip bearable, those Thestrals looked amazing and I'm now in a carriage that's flying over a city. The view could be better but, I feel like Russia's cloudy skies look spectacular from up here.*"

Since this was going to be quite the long ride, Heisenberg took a flask from his item bag and gulped it down.

"F.u.c.k, that tastes horrible, next time I brew it I'm adding some flavor to it."

Having added a few more hours to his transformation, he took out the Crimson Medallion the Vampire had given him. It was thin, round and fit perfectly in his palm, with a black V insignia, but what caught his attention were the words etched around it.

*रात, आत्मा खाने वाला; रक्त बांधता है हम दोनों*

"*What does this mean? I don't understand what it says, but that doesn't matter, I'm still to weak to even think about meeting her right now, besides she's immortal I'm sure she can wait for me, a few decades.*"

Placing the Medallion back into his Item Pouch the bald man looked out the window, to the stunning view of the city lights.

"I'm almost there..."
