Ron Weasley: A Noble's Ascension

Chapter 41 - Ron's Free Time.

Walking out of Potions Class, Ron made his way to a secluded hall on the seventh floor. The Halls and long corridors were empty since everyone else was still in class, allowing him freedom to walk unbothered.

Standing in front of seemingly normal wall, Ron repeated the same sentence in his mind three times as he walked passed it.

" Library's Restricted Section!Library's Restricted Section!! Library's Restricted Section!!!"

When he opened them a large wooden door had appeared, Ron made sure no one else was in the corridor and entered the mysterious room.

Headmaster's Office - Thirty Minutes Ago.

A hysterical Prof. McGonagall was pacing back and forth while she hastily spoke to an old man.

" What am I supposed to do Albus!? What!?

" Calm down Minerva, I'm having a hard time understanding you..."

" What Is there to understand, Albus!? The boy trapped me in a cage! I was so embarrassed, how am I going to face my students now!? I never arrived to my own class, how can I they're own teacher fail to show up!?"

" But how could a first year student trap you, Minerva?"

When the old Witch heard his question she hung her head low, how could she tell him she was in her Animagus form leaving herself unprotected.

" That's..."

Stroking his long white beard the old man leaned back while grabbing a small yellow candy from his desk.

" You were in your Animagus form weren't you?"

" Yes..."

" Hadn't I warned you not to transform in class? But what's more important is how a first year was able to transform the floor surrounding you into a steel cage... What did he do after he left the classroom?"

Happy that Dumbledore changed the subject, Prof. McGonagall told him about the detours he'd taken her on.

-

" So far you've described a model student one we haven't seen in many decades at Hogwarts, then there's his talent in Transfiguration Magic. I'd like to mee-"

As Dumbledore was going to finish his thought, the short Charms Instructor entered his office. Thinking it was about something else the old man didn't finish the thought, instead welcoming the Professor.

" Good to see you, Filius. What do I owe this visit of yours?"

After a short bow the stubby man walked over towards the old man and woman.

" I'd like to talk about a student of mine, Ronald Prewett Black Weasley. He's asked for my assistance in order to train him for the upcoming U-15 British Dueling Tournament."

When he mentioned the student's name, Minerva shuddered while the old man's eyes shined.

" Filius, as you're quite aware of we're under strict orders from the Ministry to not teach or facilitate Dueling in any way."

" I understand Headmaster, but I've received letter of consent from the students Legal Guardian. If I'm not allowed to teach him while on Hogwarts then can I ask permission to take him off the school grounds?"

Listening to the man unwilling to be denied Dumbledore leaned back on his chair pondering for a while. While he did so Prof. McGonagall asked Prof. Flitwick to reconsider his stance on the matter since the boy was still young.

" I can't give you answer just yet, Filius but I'd like to speak to the stude-"

" ALBUS!"

Unexpectedly another Professor arrived, this time Snape stormed inside. Seeing him in such a bothered state Dumbledore couldn't help but think about a certain Crimson Haired boy.

"*You've made quite the first impression, Ronald. What bothers me is his Legal Guardian...*"

-

" Achoo!"

"*Is McGonagall or Snape cursing my name right now!? It should be Lunch right now... Guess I'll go find out what happened after I left.*"

-

*POOF*

" OH MY GOD WHO THREW THAT!?!"

Right as Ron made a quick turn he witnessed two red heads running away as a putrid smelling cloud was engulfing the courtyard.

Knowing exactly what had occurred, Ron chased after his brothers. He caught up to both of them on one of the staircases, as he did so they didn't seem surprised to see him.

" Hello, Ronnie --"

" -- What can we do for you?"

" I heard you two got into Flich's secret stash last year."

" What! Did you hear him George!?"

" I sure did Fred!"

" I'd like to see what you guy's got. You must've heard from Mom and Dad I got some money from aunt Lucretia, so how'd you like to sell me what you found?"

Hearing his offer, they asked for a moment to discuss, Ron obliged letting them talk.

" How .....much...."

" What ...more..."

" Galleons... Okay!"

When they turned to face him they both looked similar to him with their sly smirks. They took out a scribbled parchment, a self writing quill and some invisible Ink, Ron inspected the three items before asking for their price.

" 1000 Galleons for everything!"

"*Since they're my brothers I shouldn't low ball them...*"

" You got a deal! Here! Count them if you want."

Ron threw them a pouch filled with Galleons before they parted ways, the Pouch he'd given them was at least 10 times more than they'd asked. He of course didn't care or tell them and his brothers didn't check.

"*Now I've gotten my hands on the Marauders Map and Snape's old Potions Book. Next is the Ravenclaw's Diadem...*"

-

Walking towards the Great Hall to get something to eat, he came across a very unique scene. His older brother Percy was arguing with a ghost, but one he'd never seen before.

" What are you going to do!?"

" I'll go inform the Bloody Baron to -"

*Splat*

When Ron was getting closer the ghost threw a Pastrie at his brother who was able to dodge.

" Why, You! Just you wait Peeves!"

Percy stormed off while muttering something his breath while the ghost took notice of Ron.

"*I don't remember him from the movies...*"

" Oi, boy! Want to see a Magic Trick!? I call it Pie Face!"

Without a warning the ghost threw a pastrie at Ron, who waited to the last moment before dodging. Choosing to ignore it, Ron walked passed it everytime ignoring his words and dodging the pastries.

" You're not getting away from m-"

Becoming annoyed the ghost was making his way towards Ron before a bloody white figure entered the corridor.

" Peeves!!"

" Ah, I've got to go! See you later kid!"

Ron gave the bloody ghost a quick glance before continuing to the Great Hall.

"*The ghost from before might become a pest but I'll leave it for later. I should focus on figuring out how to Destroy Voldemorts soul fragments without damaging the Founders Treasures...*"
