Ron Weasley: A Noble's Ascension

Exiting the forest Snape had Hagrid take the bloody and now unconscious Ron to the Hospital Wing. He meanwhile would go report what they'd seen to Dumbledore which Hagrid agreed. Before walking away the Potions Master turned back towards the woods before taking one long look.

"* Is 'He' already... If so it might already be too late.*"

Back in the Forest the shadowy figure Ron had encountered was on it's knees gasping for air.

" Who in the hell was that!? Master are you... "

"* Shut Up, Quirell. Damn it, damn it all to hell. It took me months to store up that Magic! This would never have happened before!*"

" Master could this attack mean that Dumble-"

"* Silence! I don't want to hear his name... *"

Scared to anger his master any further the bumbling Professor quickly shut his mouth.

* Has he figured out my plans..*

"* Quirrell proceed with our previous plan at once.*"

" But master, it's too soon I think-"

"* I don't care what you think! Do as I say! Otherwise...*"

Quirrell suddenly dropped down to the ground while he grabbed his head. Rolling on the ground from the immense pain he was suffering Quirrell begged for mercy.

" Argh! Stop! Please, Stop! Aaahhhh!!! Master Please! Aaaahhhh!"

"* Don't you ever question me, Quirrell.*"

With that final warning the pain inside his head vanished freeing the unfortunate Professor. Who learning from his mistake agreed to proceed faster with their plan.

" I'll do as you command, Master."

The next morning Ron woke up to the sound of crying and screaming. Opening his eyes he saw an interesting scene, Daphne and Hermione were crying next to his bed while a nurse kept telling them to be quiet.

" How many times have I told you two, that he's simply sleeping? His injuries weren't that serious so could we stop the water works, please?"

" If he's not hurt why is he all bandaged up!?"

He felt bewildered at seeing the two girls crying since he was clearly just sleeping. Yet he quickly remembered that yesterday he intentionally hurt himself thinking that Snape would patch him up. Obviously that didn't happen causing him to faint from blood loss.

"* To think I was wrong. Oh well, at least I got a good night's sleep out of it. Even if it was interrupted by these two... *"

" Daph, Mion I'm alright. So could you calm down a bit, I'm sure the other patients are trying to rest."

" Ron!"

" You're awake!"

" Ye-"

As he tried to once again reassure them he was unable to when they both went in for a hug.

" We were so scared!"

As he was in their combined embrace he nodded to the nurse to give them some privacy. After telling him he was fine but should not try to force himself too much she left. With her departure Ron got up to make sure all of his belongings were still in his bag.

"* Good everything's here.*"

" So how did you find out I was here?"

" Early in the morning we went to your room to tell you the news but you never answered... "

" Then we heard that you were here. Are you sure you're okay?"

" I'm fine. What news were you going to tell me about?"

Getting dressed, Ron told them to turn back. Doing so they told him a piece of news that actually surprised.him.

" Draco was pulled out of Hogwarts."

Ron who was putting his robes on momentarily paused what he was doing.

" Is that true? Just not some gossip from the Gryffindor's?"

" No, one of my acquaintances from Slytherin told me that Draco's father went to the Slytherin Common Room yesterday afternoon and in front of everyone told Draco that he was no longer going to study at Hogwarts."

" I see. On to another subject how are you two here? Shouldn't you be in Class?"

Not waiting for their answer Ron headed to the exit not wanting to stay here any longer. Neither tried to stop him from leaving, instead they followed him out while Hermione answered his earlier question.

" Today's class was cancelled. Seems Professor Quirrell felt Ill and couldn't make the class."

"* Oh right... *"

Without a class to attend at the moment, their trio went to the Ravenclaw Common Room. Believing that Ron was going to continue their Occlumency/Legilimency lessons the pair went with him. Using the Marauders Map they took a short cut leading to the Bronze Door. Due to this they were all unaware that the entire student body was searching for Ron.

Answering the Bronze Knockers riddle, Ron led his two companions inside the library-esque room. Unexpectedly as they did so a few of the older students looked their way.

"* So they've already learned about the Draco news.*"

Although he knew exactly why they were staring at him, Ron wasn't one to openly speak on gossip. So he ignored their stares and continued towards his room. That caused his onlookers to look around frantically and see if anyone would ask him about the news.

" Ron. Um, good morning."

" Good morning Anthony. Do you need something from me?"

Surprisingly it was Anthony who broke the silence garnering the rooms attention in the process. Expecting for him to ask about the big news surrounding Ron's "Victim" they were disappointed with Anthony's next words.

" I just wanted to tell you that I've gotten permission from Mrs. Pince to hold our Study Group in the library."

" That's great news Anthony. I've also gotten one new member and should be adding two more today. I'd say we can hold our first group meeting tommorow."

As they began to go on about their study group one of the more curious students couldn't handle it any longer. Jumping up from her seat she yelled out the question she was dying to ask.

" Ron! What are your thoughts on Draco Malfoy being pulled out of school!?"

" Who?"
