Royal Blood-Caius Love Story

Another bright day began and fresh air circled around in the palace, Cassandra was sitting there alone since midnight, to other people's eyes she seems like a statue without motion without breath. Only deep thoughts filled her violet coloured eyes. Maids and butchers couldn't dare to distract her, her existence was same as a realistic wall paintings in this palace.

Footsteps entered the palace and her sėnsɨtɨvė ears already heard this from the beginning, her ċhėst started to burning with excitement but she still sit there without motion.

Big halls door opened and revealed handsome youth. She was hearing his rapidly beating heart, his smell, his face even his gulping sounds were too tempting to her, she wanted to ran to him and explain everything but his hesitated eyes stopped her from moving.

"princess" finally he opened his mouth but only one word fell from it, he had a many thoughts and many questions in his mind but couldn't utter another word. He saw Cassandra's face filled with disappointment but didn't move an inch.

"princess? You never used to call me like that. Caius are you scared?" her voice was too melodious that he almost forgot how to speak

"I was scared yesterday when I saw you, I was scared this morning when I was thinking about you but now I'm not scared" he take a one step to her and continued "because I thought that you would changed into something dark but now I see that you are still Cassandra"

She stand up from her seat and started to walk to him, she stretched her hand to him when they are only few centimeters apart.

"touch it and feel it" his warm hand moves to her pale cold hand and he shocked when he felt her freezing skin

"this…this" he stuttered

"see, Caius I'm changed, did you ever heard about vampire or blood sucker?" her mind was uneasy, she was afraid he would run away again

"my nanny used to tell me about stories, bu-but that's impossible right?"

"I don't know how much did you heard but there are really eternal, cold blooded monsters who drink human blood to live"

"do you drink human blood?"

"no, I was born like this so I don't drink human blood, but I can make vampires who can drink blood" she take her hand from his grasp and turn around

"what about yesterday? Why did you ordered to kill?"

"he was a vampire who killed many people because of hunger so that was his punishment" she was still standing there. He wanted to hug her into his embrace and tell her everything will be okay but didn't take a step forward.

"actually I will go back to my hometown, my parents called me urgently" she felt pang in her ċhėst but didn't turn to him

"when will you come back?" her voice was soft

"I don't know, if it's necessary I will remain there, I'm here to tell you goodbye" he said and started to walk to door, Cassandra turn to his walking away silhouette and extreme pain hit her heart

"Caius, do you hate me?" she questioned, he halted his steps and look into her eyes that too inhumanly and too beautiful violet eyes

"Cassandra, I would never dare to hate you, you are perfect" he said and walked out of the hall, because he was afraid he would want more if he stayed there. So he braced his heart and went to his house. .

Two days and two nights since they departed, but pain in her heart increased second by second, she couldn't suppress her longing feeling and decided to go after him

"father"

"here take this horse garage with you, as a lady you can't run everywhere" he chuckled, as a father he knows his daughter well and already known what was making her sad, he can't prevent uncontrollable things like fate but he should support he unconditionally because that was what fathers do. The moment that little angel held by in his arms he decided, he should protect her and give her everything even if it costs his life.

"father thank you" she smiled and hugged him tight, he kissed top of her head

"my dear be careful, as a parents we will always worry for you" he said and gave her some necessary things

He knew it will be hard for her dear daughter but he knows it will help her to fly in the sky with her wings, he can only wish her best and let her go.

She travelled whole night and arrived Caius's hometown in the morning. It was not as big as capital city and everything looked new to her.

She searched biggest manor in this town and she knew he was near to her because of her burning feeling in the ċhėst. After the knock middle aged woman opened the door with frown while mumbling in her mouth

"where is the maids and butler, since when did madams started to do their jobs, such a lazy bunch" her mumbling stopped when she looked Cassandra "what do you need?"

"excuse me ma'am can I meet Caius?"
