Running Away From The Main Lead

A gentle breeze came through the window carrying with it the sweet smell of the blooming flowers and the charming songs of the birds.

That was what met Wei Guiyin when she woke up.

While Wei Guiyin was talking with Moon, she was getting ready and with everything that she does daily without much attention.

Wei Guiyin got out of her room and as soon as she took a step outside she met a maid which was blushing by looking at her and told her that everyone was waiting for her downstairs for breakfast. Once she finished telling her that, said maid ran away from there.

Wei Guiyin tilted her head to one side wondering the reason the maid reacted like that while she was walking. What she didn't know was that even though her action looked cute, it showed more of the hickeys that Ya Zhuoyue left on her neck.

The Ya family were shocked silly when they saw their young master in the morning. In the 20 years of having known him, this was the first time that they saw joy, happiness, and a little of mischieve emanating out of him. He even said 'Good Morning' back when someone said it to him.

"Good Morning, Mom, dad"

Ya Dongli and Chun Youya were shocked to hear their son telling them good morning. Something so mundane was coming out of the mouth of their cold son. Chun Youya busted into tears as she walked towards her son with the help of Ya Dongli.

Chun Youya uncertainly opened her arms knowing that she would be unable to obtain what she always wanted but still hopeful.

Ya Zhouyue walked towards her mother and hugged her. For the first time in his life, he was able to feel, to feel more than just the corporal heat from a hug, he was able to fell the warmth and security that brings the hug of a mother.

"Mom, dad, I am sorry for making you wait so long"

That was the only thing that Ya Zhouyue said, and that was the only thing that he needed to say.

"Don't worry son, mom understands you"

Both Ya Dongli and Chun Youya were crying in the family reunion, but not much longer laughter was heard from the dining room, and that was the scene with met Wei Guiyin when she arrived.

Wei Guiyin was once again shocked and did not move.

The Ya family noticed that someone was standing not far away from them. When they turned to see who was it. They saw Wei Guiyin there with a silly but cute lost face.

Both Ya Dongli and Chun Youya thought as they saw the visible red hickeys on her neck. Both smiled to each other. Ya Dongli's smile towards his wife was as if he had already won the bet, and Chun Youya's simile was towards his foolish husband and son knowing well what will happen when Wei Guiyin finds out about the hickeys since she was sure that she for some reason has not seen them since was wearing a shirt that had a V=shaped neck.

"Ling-Ling, what are you doing just standing there? Come here and eat breakfast before going off to the university"

Chun Youya said as she smiled even more brightly towards Wei Guiyin.

Wei Guiyin woke up from her trance and moved to sit on a chair that was neither too far nor too near the Ya family.

Seeing that Ya Zhouyue was not too happy.

"Lin'er, come to sit over here"

Ya Zhouyue said towards Wei Guiyin as he extended his hand in her direction. Wei Guiyin without thinking twice walked in his direction and took his hand into hers which in return he led her to the chair right next to his.

Wei Guiyin said her good morning's to the Ya parents and proceded to eat the food before her. She was lost in the delicious food that she had not noticed that a certain man had his arm around her waist pulling her towards him, or that he is constantly putting food on her plate.

But that did not go unnoticed to the Ya parents who were smiling, even more, seeing how their son interacted with Wei Guiyin.

"Did you see how the outside is? isn't it beautiful?"

Chun Youya said as she put her hands together. It was indeed new to them since they were not used to that kind of exposure to color and sensations.

"It is indeed as you said Wifey. I know that this will bring new inspiration to the arts since a while ago it was stagnant."

Ya Dongli said and followed his wife in some other small talk while Wei Guiyin and Ya Zhouyue at some time added their own thoughts.

Time passes fast when you are enjoying it. I was time for Wei Guiyin and Ya Zhouyue to leave or they will be late for classes. Ya Zhouyue stood up first and helped Wei Guiyin and asked a maid to go for her things. When everything was ready and they said their good bye's and were walking towards the door Chun Youya stopped them.

"I am Ok with it, and I know that my son is more than rapt for you to go out like that, but I think that is better for you to go upstairs and change shirts Ling-Ling"

Ya Zhouyue glared at his mother for saying that. Wei Guiyin doesn't know what she is talking about until she turns around and looks at herself in a mirror that was hanging in the wall. All her right side of her neck was full of hickeys.

"YA ZHOUYUE!!!"
