RWBY: A Mob Story

It's been three years since I've reincarnated and I've decided its time to leave I feel a bit regretful because I've grown close with all the children in the orphanage they all see me as an elder brother even though half of them are older than me. All my preparations are complete all that's left is to challenge the Caretaker to a duel then earn the right to leave.

I take a deep breath and walk up to the Caretaker "Stop. I already know what you want, Meet me in the front yard after breakfast" then he turns and walks into the kitchen for the 'Healthy' breakfast and begins to serve everyone he even gives me extra. yay

After eating everyone gathers in the front yard and the Caretaker walks to the front " Everyone instead of practice today all of you will be observing a duel between me and Asher" all the children are excited and whispering in hushed voices, I just sit to the side and meditate because I know this battle will not be easy I have too many limitations the only advantages I have is Speed, Size and Sword Technique in order to win I'll need to find an opening.

After five minutes of warming up the caretaker begins to speak " This duel will have no rules, even death is possible. Asher, this is your final chance, Are you Sure?" I look him right in the eyes and take out my practice sword entering the basic sword stance. He looks at me and nods then he also takes out a practice sword and release's some pressure anyone else would've pissed their pant but I've already pissed my pants hundreds of times I just calmly analyze my opponent.

I decided to make the first move to control the rhythm of the battle I rush to his left and swing my blade to his neck he prepares to counter but before our blades make contact I release my blade then move to his right hand and twist his wrist using a disarming technique. I quickly grab his blade then I strike his c.h.e.s.t but he kicked the blade out of my hand then he moves to fight close quarters. He swings a left hook but I duck under then I roll towards my sword on the ground immediately entering a defensive stance but he walks away casually picks up his sword and cracks his neck then enters a stance.

I feel the dirt in my hand that I picked up when I rolled to my sword thinking the best way to use it but the Caretaker doesn't give me the time he rushes towards me I throw the dirt when he's right in front of me so that his momentum will work against him he closes his eyes from the dirt I grip my sword then using all strength I move right in front of him and push my handle upward hitting him right in the chin.

He falls backward falling on his back and I fall on my b.u.t.t from fatigue everyone watching is silent then the Caretaker speaks" Not bad you can leave Asher but remember this world is cruel and merciless never let your guard down. Now get lost if your still here by tomorrow then I'll kick you out" I just smile wryly and say " Yes sir " then everyone watching me runs towards me cheering and praising me I just smile accepting it because I might not see these guys again.

~Next Day~

It's finally time for me to leave, I love this orphanage it's been my second home but I will pursue my dream of becoming the coolest and after I achieve my dream I'll find a nice waifu to settle down with and live my reincarnation to the fullest.

It's early in the morning I think now would be a good time to leave, I grab my bag then I head to the door when I walk out the door I see the caretaker with some of the older kids when they see me they laugh and one of them say " We knew you would try to leave without saying goodbye just because you think its cool" " Damn brat. You try to leave without saying goodbye" "Well that's just how Asher is" all of them start saying goodbye in their 'unique' way.

The Caretaker hands me a bag with some daily necessities and just says " Take care" he then turns and walks back into that worn down shack, I just smile and start walking down the dirt road while all the kids keep waving goodbye till they can no longer see my back.

Now everything's ready I'm free to explore I can finally begin my adventure to become the coolest bada*s but also the most irrelevant mob.
